Phones calling my online number

i have recently set up an online number which works fine. I have all of my contacts from my iPhone on my Skype contacts as it transfered them accross when I downloaded the new Skype.
But when I call on my mobile for example, sometimes it displays 07, sometimes +7 and sometimes +447 and even +07. It will not regonise any of my numbers in my contact list.
I am calling from the UK to a UK online number BTW.
Has anyone had any issues with this? If I add a client to my Skype and they ring me, I want to be able to know who it is before I pick it up, like a normal mobile phone does.

Skype doesn't guarantee the caller ID to be displayed on every call....

Unfortunately, it is not possible to transfer Online Numbers between accounts. You can, however, set up call forwarding from one account to another to be able to receive calls when being logged into either one. Please see http://www.skype.com/intl/en/features/allfeatures/call-forwarding/

Costs of calling an online number ?

I am looking to get an online number - I do not have a landline and my friend does not have a very useful contract on the their mobile , lol. We are both in the UK.
If they call my online number from their landline, will the call be treated as if they were dialing any other UK number i.e. will it still fall in under their landline call packages ?

Yes, calling an online number costs exactly as calling any other number in the same area code.

RTX 4088 not ringing when called using online numb...

I have read a lot of posts some with solutions( that don't work) and others stating that this is a known skype issue.
Firstly i have just bought my second cordless phone, RTX 4088, nice phone but wont ring when anyone rings me on my online number. This is hit and miss, works some days others not. Actually doesn't work most of the time.
I had a long chat with skype support and did as a another post suggested deleted an xml file, changed some settings and sat about for 5 minutes, this didn't work.
I did get it to work by doing a full reset on the phone, this fixed it temporarily. 15minutes later.
RTX support is useless, they said contact skype and skype said contact them....
I am pissed at skype over this, no public notice that this is a bug and no real solution. Online numbers are pointless if your phone wont ring when someone calls. You may as well buy a €6 corded phone and leave your computer on because thats the only calls i can receive. Dont spend th €90 euro for a fancy phone that just answers skype to skype calls.
Skype please fix this bug and stop giving us the run around.....

Blocking Texts but allow phone calls from specific number?

I have done some research but have not found what I'm looking for.
I would like to be able to block a specific number from sending me text messages but I would still like to be able to receive phone calls from them. It seems to be a unique situation. I'm not sure if it is something Verizon can handle or if it's available in a third party App? Thanks for any info you can provide. I have an HTC Droid Incredible if that matters.

I know that the free number blocking offered by Verizon Wireless will block both calls and texts from the blocked numbers.
There might be something in the Play Store, but I'm not aware of any specific applications.

TS5185 When I receive a text or phone call, only the number shows not their names. And it have missing contacts. Help. This just started 2 days ago.

My phone no longer displays the names of my incoming messages or phone calls. It only shows the number. Some of my contacts are missing also. I tried to deactivate iMessage and nothing changed. Please help.

Calling an AT&T phone using Skype Online Number

Hi,
I've been pouring through threads about this, but none of them seem to answer my question.
I live in Canada. I have Skype. My Skype has Unlimited World on it. I am looking to call a friend in the United States and he's on AT&T. Would my calling him from my Canadian Skype number count as an international incoming call, or would it just charge him minutes off of his plan?

The call will be seen as a "local" call.
There are no "international" calls with Skype irrespective of origin.
TIME ZONE - US EASTERN. LOCATION - PHILADELPHIA, PA, USA.
I recommend that you always run the latest Skype version: Windows & Mac

Online number does not appear as caller ID for out...

I have a Skype Premium account and an Online Number based in Stockholm, Sweden.
I have verified the Caller ID for my account is set for the Online Number starting with +468.
When I call my mobile phone (Swedish mobile operator), the ID appears as "Unknown".
When I call the Online Number from my mobile phone, the calling number is shown correctly.
What could be wrong?

Log into your Skype account here on the Skype web site, using the "Account" link at the top of this page. Once you log in, you will see Caller ID settings. If your number is from one of the countries whose numbers can be used as Caller ID (Chile, Denmark, Estonia, Hong Kong, Poland, Sweden, the UK and the US), you should be able to select it and save that for your Caller ID setting. I need to get a Skype Online Number to Japan. and I need to divert that call to Sri Lankan Mobile phone. I will pay for the charges which occurs in forwarding.
Also if above cannot be done, as an example : If a person from some other country call my Online Number in Japan, can i anser this call using skype. Thanks

If you are a resident of Japan, you can get a Japanese Online Number from Skype. Once you have that, you can have calls to that number - or any call to your Skype account from other Skype users - forwarded to the Sri Lankan mobile phone. You will need to purchase Skype Credit to cover the cost of those calls out to the Sri Lankan number.
If a person from some other country call my Online Number in Japan, can i anser this call using skype.
Even if you have call-forwarding enabled, you can still answer calls when you are logged into Skype. Then you are not having to pay for the cost of calls forwarded to that Sri Lankan mobile number, for example.

RTX Dual Phone and Online Number

I'm planning on getting RTX Dual Phone with an online number to replace my land line. The requirements specify Broadband Internet connection (I have DSL service and a router with open ports).
The requirements also state 'landline operator subscription'. What does this mean? My objective was to replace the landline?
The RTX dual phone package comes with 2 handsets. How many will it support and where do I buy extra handsets.
Can I set Skype on my computer to the same online number, so that it rings when my computer is on.

Freetalk Office Phone & Skype Online Number

When reviewing the product description for the Freetalk Office Phone, it was unclear to me whether or not the phone will work with your Skype Online Number. For example, if someone calls my online number then will the Freetalk Office Phone ring?? Also if I call someone from the Freetalk Office Phone then will they see my Skype Online Number on the caller ID?

I already have skype set up on my three network mobile. If I try to call skype online number from other phone, is it coming to the skype that already set up on the three network mobile or my computer?

I have the same problem. In Skype Manager the online number was deactivated 10 days ago at its year end. I added lots of credit today and allocated 100euros to the account that holds the de-activated number - but it still asks for more credit (it costs 50euros to reactivate for a year).
Question - How do I get Skype Manager to recognise that there is enough credit allocated in the account to reactivate the number?

Calling Online number with Mac and iPhone running ...

I'm running V5.3.0.1093 on OSx Lion, I have the latest version running on my iPhone4, when I call my online number from a landline both the Mac and iPhone ring, if I answer the call on my Mac the iPhone continues to ring until the end of the call.
This only happens when the Skype app is running in the background on the iPhone, I also get a missed called notification on the iPhone. The is very annoying as I can't mute the ring or adjust the volume, the mute button and volume control on the phone is rendered useless!!

My response might not make you very happy but it is what it is, firstly the call forwarding works by your skype phone calling you and directing the call. Meaning you are getting a call from skype not the original phone meaning you cannot get caller ID. Second Your skype VM only works when the call is unanswered and if your mobiles VM answers it is not unanswered. It is approximately the same effect though except mobile VM costs money and skypes does not.

I contacted Skype some months ago about this issue they said if you have a Subscription if it's covered under your subscription (for example calls to the US & Canada unlimited) and make a call on skype it will be covered.
I don't have the email or lost it somewhere as it's months old but basically that's what it says.

Try checking the envy for product updates. Go to "Setup" > "Web Menu" > "Product Updates" > "Check for product updates". If there is an update available then let it install it. After it installs the update the printer will reboot itself. After it comes back to life, check for product updates once more to make sure there is not another one. Then try to send an email to the printer email address again. Also you can check the status of your ePrint jobs on www.eprintcenter.com
