Photo albums show "downloading"

My wife just got a new 5s. On set-up she restored from iCloud. Now after a few days, several of her photo albums are still showing "downloading" at the bottom of the album display screen. There are no new photos downloading. We have determined that the albums in question had photos in them that we're originally downloaded to her previous iPhone (4s) via iTunes. We no longer connect the iPhone to the Mac for sync. How do we stop the phone from continuing to try to download these photos?

OK, I was under the impression that it was still trying to download photos as part of the restore process.
If these albums contained photos that were previously synced from her computer using iTunes, you might try creating an empty folder on the computer she normally syncs with, then connect her phone to her computer, open iTunes, click on the name of her phone in iTunes, then check Sync Photos on the Photos tab of her iTunes sync settings and select the empty folder. Then click Apply at the bottom to sync her phone. This should remove any "stuck" albums from her phone that may have been synced to her phone from her computer.

You unsync them using your computer, the opposite of how you got them on your phone.
you can't delete them directly from your phone.

Photo Albums showing up in iWeb but not in published site

I'm publishing to an FTP server using Transmit. The site address is chrisfitzgeraldmusic.com . All of the other pages publish perfectly, but the photo albums page has never published correctly. In the past, some albums have shown up, others haven't. Within the ones that showed up, some pictures were displayed while others weren't. Just today I tried to fix this by deleting all the albums and putting in a single iPhoto album which I also rebuilt. The album displays perfectly in iWeb, but shows up as a blank photo albums page when I publish it to the FTP server. Any ideas? I'm at my wits end.

For some reason not all of the files are getting uploaded. Publish to a folder on your hard drive and open the site with your browser to make sure the photos and albums are getting created as they should.
If you using iWeb's ftp client to upload to your server then try publishing to a folder on the hard drive first and use a 3rd party ftp client like the freeCyberduck or Transmit to upload the files to the server. This might help also: Old Toad's Tutorial #2 - Uploading only those published new or newly edited files when using a 3rd party FTP client.
If you are already publishing to a folder what ftp client are you using? If it's not Cyberduck give it a try. It's well thought of here in the forums.

Trying to add photos to facebook, no photo albums showing

I've always added photos to facebook by selecting the photo first then selecting upload to facebook but for some reason my photo albums on Facebook are no longer showing (even though they are still there)?
Still works ok on my husbands identical phone / set up.
I can upload by going into Facebook first, but not sure why I can't do it the way I always have?

All sorted deleted and re-installed Facebook app (but needed to enter FB password in settings on phone too).

I downloaded mountain lion and then iPhoto '11 in order to tap into iCloud capabilities with all of my devices. (My Mac was outdated in regards to operating platform to do this). After installing iPhoto 11, I had to repair and rebuild my library of photos. However, after doing this, all of my albums were jumbled and, while I can see the image thumbnail, when I click on the thumbnail, and error that looks like a black triangle and gray exclamation pops up as opposed to the larger hi def image I want to view.

Why are someone elses photo albums showing up in my icloud account on apple tv?

Logged in to my account on iCloud on Apple TV. It did not ask for my password, and it is now showing me hundreds of photos of a very nice family ... whom I have never met. I am unable to see any of my photos, but I have the personal photos of somoenoe else. Any ideas of how this happened or how to get my photos? I am sure that this family might not want their personal photos being viewed by me.

On your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, your photos will appear in the Photo Stream view in the Photos app. If you're using iOS 6 or later, you can find your photos by tapping the Photo Stream tab and then tapping the My Photo Stream album. In iOS 5, your photos are in the Photo Stream album.

Photos Album shows no photos

My album 'Photos' (directly under 'Projects') should show all the photos in my library, but it's completely blank.
I have reinstalled Aperture 3 but this didn't solve the problem. Some of the folders under PROJECTS & ALBUMS also appeared empty. On creating duplicate folders and moving the contents of the 'invisible' folders into them, the contents became visible again, with the top folder marked.
All my images are referenced on an external drive. The library file is on the iMac drive. Any ideas what might be happening here?

Problem solved!
Removing the file 'com.Apple.Aperture.plist' had no effect. The procedure you described in the linked thread did. i. e.
+Select any of your smart albums does't mater which. Click the magnifying glass to open the search HUD. Now leaving that HUD open click on the Photos icon in the Library.+
+Clear any settings and set the HUD to show all your images. Close the HUD you should be back to normal.+
Then I put back the original plist file and it still worked.

Why do a bunch of my photo albums show up blank?

We bought an iPad for my Grnadmother, mainly for the reason of photos. I have all the photos laid out in folders in Aperature. I load them on and it seems to work fine, but a bunch of the folders are empty. About 70% of them worked just fine, but the rest have the name of the folder but nothing in there. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to fix this? I have reset, gave it plenty of time to populate the images into the app, but nothing seems to work.

When you restore from backup via iTunes on songs that were on the iPod and are in your iTunes library are restored. The backup does not include synced media like apps and music.
If you restore from iClould backup only iTunes/App Store synced media is restored.
You can redownload most iTunes purchases by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
If media has been removed from the apps store it is not redownloadable

Download Photo Albums on iWeb?

The photos we have on our iWeb are able to be downloaded individually by people. I would like to be able to have the photo albums be downloaded as well, so that people do not have to download each photo individually.
Is this possible and, if so, how do I make that happen?

You can make up your album in a DTP application and export it as a PDF or use the freeware PDF Lab...

Create a link to it on your iWeb page using "Link to: A file".
When visitors click this link the PDF will be downloaded to their desktop.

Photo albums messed up again after update

Once again, after an iOS update, the last 12 months and last imported photos albums showed up on the phone even though the boxes are not checked in iTunes before or after those updates.
As the with last time, the only way to remove those two albums was to sync an older iPhoto library, then re-sync the current iPhoto library as a replacement.
That clears the two, unwanted albums, but why have the last two iOS updates cause this problem?

I think the easiest way to fix this is go into iTunes and rename all the tracks in your "Greatest Hits" albums with unique album names, e.g "Black Lace Greatest Hits" and "Greatest Hits - The Sweet" etc. You can even be as subtle as just adding a "." or hyphen or extra space, it will make the name different and your Touch will be able to distinguish different albums.
The Albums should then sort them selves out after a synch.

Can't delete photo albums

iPhone4 using most current iOS. Can't get rid of photo albums that downloaded from computer. Have tried methods from discussion groups, but nothing has worked.

You get rid of photos synced from the computer the same way that you get them there, via a sync. Connect the iPhone to the computer with iTunes. Select the iPhone in the device pane, and go to the Photos tab. Unselect the folders that are synced to the phone and Apply the change. This will remove the photos.

How do I delete photo albums from my IPhone that don't show up in Itunes?

I have an IMac recently upgraded to OSX 10.9. My Iphone is a 4S running 7.0.4. I know how to manage songs and photos using ITunes, but somehow my entire photo library has been synched to my IPhone. The odd thing is the photos don't show up when I run the Preview Application (one way to remove photos from the IPhone). Only the Camera Roll photos show up there. And in ITunes I do not have any albums checked to synch. I have no idea how the albums got onto my phone, and no idea how to remove them.
In ITunes, I make sure no photo albums are selected, and I choose "synch," but they just won't remove from the Iphone. When I look under "Settings" "General" on my Iphone sometimes it shows over 8,000 photos and sometimes 2,000 photos. But the albums never are removed. Another strange thing is that in ITunes "Photos" at the bottom where you see the colored visuals of what applications are using space "Other" consumes more than half my space.
I'm about ready to do a factory reset. Can anyone help????

that can sometimes happen, when trying to update the software failed. Then partially downloaded updates will take up a lot of space. Photos synced to iDevices can only be removed by syncing again.
If syncing again with just one small album with a single photo selected will not remove the synced albums, back up the iPhone to iTunes and restore the device to factory settings:
iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
Restoring should get rid of the "other" and the synced albums.

Removing Download option in Photo Album

Photos not showing up in my photo album

I am using an Iphone 3g OS 3.0. All of a sudden any pictures i take, or pictures that i save from the internet are not showing up when i open my photo album. however when i look at my photo album screen it shows that i have more pictures in my album than are actually in my album. It says i have 307 photos but when i open the album it only shows that i have 292 photos.
Can anyone shed some light on this issue?

Same thing here. 3GS and OS 3.1 and cannot sync camera roll with iphoto. Doesnt even open iphoto anymore. Have tried all resetting and reinstalling but nothing. Living with emailing photos from phone to laptop and from there downloading into iphoto as the only way to save taken photos.
I thought it was me but now see its a more general problem.
ANy ideas?

To be clear, you can see the image from your file system but cannot access it from code?
I'd like to know what could be my bug because I don't understand why I can access from the URL,

I'm not knowledgeable with chmod under Linux, let's say if we give it full accessibility, what will be the result?
Anyway if you can see the image from file system, that already means the upload is succeed, I think you may need get some suggestion from php side to see how can we save the image with a correct permission.
I will move the question to off topic, since the question is on the server side but not client side, which is out of the forum support scope, thanks for your understanding.
