Photo and video rotation isnt working on my Iphone 5s Any ideas?
Photos and videos wont rotate to landscape to fill the phone when i flip the phone long ways. It used to work but ive obviously done something - what i dont know. Help!

No, there are no gurantees. The capabilitty exists to retrive deleted data from an iPhone, but like many things in life it is not 100% successful all the time. Be careful, there are a lot of scam artists out there. They take your money & retrive nothing. This guy is one of the best in the business, but he does not work for people in the private sector. HT4236 All photos and videos lost after first sync on Iphone 5s and cant retrieve after backup
Hi...new to this so please be gentle....plugged in my Iphone 5S to upload holiday photos and videos, the phone has sync'd them? and i clicked on backup and now i cant retrieve them at all?...tried to reset to the backup time but they are gone...any ideas or are they gone for good?

Or, maybe it is because of the automatic sync function in iTunes? This time when I connected the iPhone with the computer, I was reminded to update iTunes - then I did so; by default, "Automatic sync when this iPhone is connected" is checked so the computer was syncing with the iPhone via iTunes. However I remember that there were notifications saying something like "this iPhone was synced to another iTunes library" and I needed to erase this iPhone to sync it to the new library - then I followed; if I cancel, I wouldn't have any option to sync my iPhone with my computer.
Do you think it is because this operation that iTunes gave me the previous sync data that didn't contain the latest photos/videos?
iphone are meant to be sync to only one iTunes library.

Since the latest update I cannot send photos Actual size or large. Medium size is as large as they go. I select Large and Actual, but to no avail. I was always able to do this before the update. iphoto 9. and I am up to date on everything. Any ideas?.
Are you also setting the file size in the New Message Window in Mail?

I believe the DVD drives makes the odd noise I heard when I booted the laptop up.
Any thoughts?
I'm guessing that means my fan/hardrive are actually OK then, and it's probably the mechanism in the DVD drive that is causing problems?
I'm almost certain there's no DVD stuck in there? -
I downloaded ios 7 today 09.19.2013 on my iphone 4 and ipad retina 3hrd generation 64g . The switch from photo to video on the camera app does not work neither on iphone nor on ipad. Is it a "youth"bug ?

How do you import photos from your Mac to your iPhone? Preferably using iPhoto.
You can use iTunes to sync photos from iPhoto to the iPhone. iTunes: Syncing photos - Apple Support
Other methods include Photo Stream and 3rd party apps such as PhotoSync. -

i have heard ramblings that they built in incompatibility with UNauthorized chargers for safety reasons after all that happened in china. -
IMovie11 - MARKING PHOTOS AND VIDEO CLIPS USED IN PROJECTS
After endless research, I have finally figured out how to mark the photos and video clips I have in my project so that I don't duplicate them in my project. It's actually easy once you know how to do it.
1. Create your new project (Movie)
2. Create your event with the photos and videos you want to use from iPhoto. Name your event same as your Project to make it easier to find the event for that project. The work flow will be > Event > iPhoto Library > Albums > Select the entire Album or individual items.
iMovie will not mark any photo or video that is not stored in iPhoto, so make sure you have your Photos and Video stored there. You can always delete any media later you don't want to keep. I found it easiest to organize the media I will be using in a project into an Album, and give it a name relating to your Project so you know where they're at, and you don't have to sort through your entire iPhoto collection to find them.
3. Now you have your Photos / Video in your event.
* As you ad the media to your project, an ORANGE line will appear on the media indicating you used it in the project you currently have open.
* If you see a PURPLE line on any of them, that indicates they are used in a different project you have created. >>> See Attachment ...
Remember that you will only see these mark lines in events.If you don't want iDVD to show its theme or menu then go into the Map mode in iDVD and drqg the slideshow containing the photos and video clips into the blue Auto Play bin at the left.

When inserted into a DVD player it will begin playing immediatey. However, when findished it will fall back to the menu so use the menu which would look best for the situation. They can be modified by droppiing image files into the menu settings bin to give it a different background.

I have an iPhone 4 and iPad 2 and our house has wifi and a BT Wireless Hub .
My question is: When photos and videos are automatically transferred from the iPhone to the iPad over the BT wireless hub, does this also use any broadband bandwidth?No.

I have an Apple I Phone 4S which is great but, can someone help me how to get the photos and videos to my PC which runs on MS XP. I would like to be able to edit and copy photos and videos to a DVD.
Connect your iPhone to your computer. Tp your pc should recognize your iPhone as a camera. Use what ever application you have on the pc to transfer files from a camera to your computer.

I updated my LG G3 this week and now it SUCKS! When I'm connected to WIFI, nothing on Facebook works. The photos and videos won't populate. I have to turn off the WIFI and only use the mobile data. Not to mention, I really hate the way it looks now. Before I updated my phone, I really liked it, now I don't like my phone at all! When will this be fixed? I hope it's soon. I'm thinking of changing providers now.
Does the iOS device connect to other networks? If yes that tend to indicate a problem with your network.

Any error messages?
Do other devices now connect?
Did the iOS device connect before?
Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on your router
.- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem and it does not connect to any networks make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

I have a Macbook Pro that was slowing down. The HD was nearly full as I do a video work. I removed over 400gb of photos and video and it made no difference. I ran disk inventory x and that says that there is only 60gb on the hard drive but disk utility says there is still 430gb on the HD. How do I remove what DU says is still there.

The Finder displays the available space on the disk without accounting for the local snapshots, because local snapshots will surrender their disk space if needed.

My ipod touch 5th gen went through the wash the other day while it was on and it came out not working at all. I was wondering if there was a way to get any of my photos and videos off of it so i could put them on my computer. Anything will do, from do it yourself methods to companies that will do it for you.
