Photo Booth closes when I try to record a video.

I got my 13 inch Macbook Pro less than a month ago and I've never managed to record a video longer than 9 seconds using Photo Booth. Every time I start recording, I get to about 10 seconds and it closes, showing the "Photo Booth quit unexpectedly" error message. I can take photos fine though. Does anyone else have this problem or a suggestion?

i just had this problem, but i checked my system preferences for a software update and just downloaded the newest update. that is what fixed my problem. i just recorded videos on charge and off and it works fine.

Photo booth crashes when I try to share photos

There's a share button on Photo booth that has options as to where I can share my selected photos, it used to work fine and suddenly it froze one time, leaving the selected photos floating on my desktop even after force quitting? The photos disappear from my desktop after restarting my MacBook
How do I stop photo booth from doing this?

When i try to record a video it does not work

When i try recording something the video does not start recording and it does not save

This started for me today, too. I have turned my phone on and off, but I don't want to lose all my info by resetting my phone.
What do I do to backup all my pics, phone numbers, texts, etc before I restore my phone? then once the restore is finished, how do I get this stuff back on my phone?

IMovie Closes when I try to share to video camera

I am using iMovie 5.0.2 When I try to share my movie to my video camera (to Mini Dv tape) the program closes. I have tried this several times and the program always closes. I know the connection is good because I am able to control my video camera from within iMovie (play, fast forward, etc) but I cannot share to the camera. What to do? THanks

I don't know where you are located, but if your camera came from Europe, it may be that it does not have a DV Out option.
Is this possible?

ITunes closes when I try to play any video file.

I purchased a movie in the iTunes store. Now when I am in iTunes all the audio files work fine (music, podcasts, etc) but any video file takes me to a black screen and a popup that says "iTunes has stopped working". I tried opening the files in Quicktime media player but received an "unknown error". I was able to to download the movie from the cloud and play it with no problems.
Originally this happened whenever I opened iTunes but after reinstalling it the issue was limited to videos.
I have reset proxy settings in case it was an issue with the iTunes store
I have tried various playback resolutions
I am using windows 8 on an Acer Aspire V3
16 GB RAM and 1 TB HDD
I have update iTunes and Quicktime.

HT1222 When i try to record a video with my camer or want to facetime with someone, the sound is very low, my normal sound like sounds of games do work. How can i fix this.? I already have the latest ios and i am using the ipad mini.

If you have not already I would change the Slide size to something that has a 4:3 Ratio.
The Buddy maybe trying to scroll left and right to see the whole slide although this shoud be controlled at you end.
I would open the Connection Doctor during a Chat (iChat's Video menu).
Check that both Bit Rates are relatively stable (there is always some variance.)
Anything over 5% particularly if over 500kbps is likely to be causing problems.
You could try limiting the Bandwidth (iChat Menu > Preferences > Video section) to 500kbps at both ends
It may pay to drop to 200kbps as a test. (you may lose the Side by Side presentation at this speed).

I have downloaded I Tunes 10.7 to my computer and now the program closes when I try to play music videos. Is there a fix out there I can try?

from what I read on the discussion boards there seems to be little or nothing to do that may not mess up the computer (Like jerky videos if Quicktime fix is tried) except wait for Apple to do a proper fix with updates at this point. I am not willing to try the fixes explained so far. The reviews of them are spotty on them working if at all. My I Tunes works on everything but the videos and that is better than nothing which did happen at first. So I will keep watching for any other fixes that might be promising or an Apple Update.

Photo Booth crashes when recording video

My Photo Booth app crashes after a few seconds of video recording if no effect is applied (OS X Lion). It's a very strange issue!

From What I've found.. it seems 3ivx or Perian could cause this problem. A friend had this issue and deleted 3ivx and it fixed his crashes. Alternatively, some folks are reporting that turning off 32-bit mode (Get Info) for Photobooth has also fixed, although this was already turned off in my friend's case.

Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Repair Database. If that doesn't help, then try again, this time using Rebuild Database.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. (In Library Manager it's the FIle -> Rebuild command)
This will create an entirely new library. It will then copy (or try to) your photos and all the associated metadata and versions to this new Library, and arrange it as close as it can to what you had in the damaged Library. It does this based on information it finds in the iPhoto sharing mechanism - but that means that things not shared won't be there, so no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your events, albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

Thanks for the info, anyway i just tried all of the options it gave me and its no good. It seems to be only in my account, since I could sync it in my sisters account. i dont know much about computers but I think this happened to me before.
as I said i hardly know computers. i think I unplugged the hard drive all cables and i turned the computer off too. plug it all again and see if it grabs it again. i did it and it worked. some how the extHD gets stuck on on. so thats why I unplugged it all. I dont know if you want to try that.

Adobe Flash is disabled when I try to record a message on my voice mail.
