Photo connector problems

Can anyone help, brought the 60g ipod for with the idea that i can put photos straight onto it whilst away on hols, I have a fuji s5000 which is not meant to be compatible but thought id try seeing as it was only 18 months old. At first had no luck they downloaded then disappeared and all i could do was delete roll which had none on.
Since then I have upgraded software using the updater and it worked straight away downloaded and could view 9 photos, then when i tried downloading another 148 photos they downloaded but when i tried to view them neither of the 2 cards i'd down loaded were there, i couldn't even get anywhere all i got when going in through the photo option was slide show settings.
This morning the 1st 9 photos reappeared but the 148 was showing as 0 and I could only delete roll. Tried downloading another card and it worked but have the same problem cannot access browser etc.
Can anybody tell me what I am doing wrong? I am slowly going mad.

After doing a soft reset i double checked all ipod and camera settings and tried again this seems to have solved the problem.

Photo connector working and then not working

I have a photo connector to use with my Ipod 5th gen. 30 gb, my Nikon D200 and my Sony Cybershot W-5. They were all working with no problems that I could see. Then the ipod stopped recognizing photos to import (on the import page it would say 0 photos, 0 kb). I tried disconnecting everything and trying again. I tried recharging all batteries involved. I still cannot get the ipod to recognize that photos need to be imported. It also seemed to only import half my photos when it was importing -- everything was still charged so this is not a power issue. Does anyone know the trick? I specifically bought this ipod and the photo connector to store photos while I travel.

Photo sync problem with Windows Vista?

I did some searching and was wondering if there is a solution to the photo sync problem with Windows Vista. I have gone the route of changing some of my photos to bitmap files but this is was way too much work just to view on ipod. I like to email Apple but could not find a link to do so. As far as I know I have all updates but still the iPod does not sync photos. Is there an update to this that I am missing or am I stuck changing all my photos to .bmp files?

Would it make a difference if I purchased Adobe Photo Album or would I still be stuck with changing and saving files to .bmp extensions? I have Adobe Photoshop album starter but still have to change file extensions.
If someone has a solution to this problem I would really be greatfull. I did contact Dell as this is a brand new computer and that was a wash. They did give me a number for Apple but of course I bought the iPod off of ebay and has no warranty on it so unless I pay a fee I'm not calling. It just blows my mind that Microsoft and Apple can't or won't come up with a fix. But I guess when Microsoft wants you to buy the Zune or Apple wants you to buy the overpriced Macintosh why would they waste time on having there products compatible with each other.

ICloud photo stream problem

Hi all - I really need your help.
My iPhoto '11 was working just fine until I upgraded it to 9.4.3. I also just installed the recent system upgrade. Now I am having multiple problems. It seems to stem from Photo Stream. Activity Monitor shows that Photo Stream is using up gobs of CPU which is strange since it is supposed to not be working...
In iPhoto, under the preferences, it shows that Photo Stream is not enabled. If I check the box to turn it on, it just unchecks itself just as quickly. But in the system preferences, it shows that Photo Stream is set up just fine. Photo Stream is certainly not working. And it seem to be totally screwing up iPhoto. I have tried multiple iPhoto fix options (option alt fixes, restoring a backup library, uninstalling then reinstalling iPhoto) with no improvement.
I'm not sure if the problem is coming from iPhoto or iCloud Photo Stream problems. I am running OSX 10.8.4 on a 3.4 GHz Intel Core i7.
Can anyone tell me what to do? Thank you so much!

Well Old Toad, I am stumped.
I double checked and logged out of iCloud in both user accounts and made sure that PS was not enabled on either library. Then I restarted the computer. I went back to my main user account (second account set up = non administrator account) and to my main iPhoto library, logged into iCloud, tried turing on PS = did not work.
If I do the exact same thing as above for a restore of a backup of my library = does not work.
If I do the exact same thing above but log in with my first account (not my main one but it is the admin account on the computer) and access the test library I created = PS works just fine with no problem.
It seems the problem with PS is limited to my primanry account (non-admin). Do you think the admin privaledges difference between the two accounts could be the problem...?
As always, I am thankful for your time and advice.

Element v.11 & 9 Photo mail problem with MS Outlook

Looking for a fix: Elements v.11 has a photo mail problem with Microsoft Outlook mail, even when Outlook is designated the defaul e-mail program in Windows internet.

I just posted the same problem and so I'll join this thread, hoping to see an answer to your question. By the way, this PSE11 feature worked fine for me with Outlook 2007, but stopped working when I upgraded to Outlook 365.

IPad photo syncinc problem from Aperture

Hi,
I have a weird photo sync problem (Itunes 10.0.1, Aperture 3.0.3). Sometimes when I add a project to Aperture and an album under that project, I can't sync that to my ipad as Itunes doesn't see any pictures in the album.
My Aperture library is huge so I'm not syncinc all of it, just selected photos. When I open iTunes, plug iPad in and go to iPad photos page, the project and the album appear in the list but if I check either one of those, the number on the right showing the number of photos in the album/project, is zero and nothing gets synced.
Sometimes I've been able to fix this by restarting aperture and itunes. I've tried reprocessing previews (previews are 2560x2560) but it doesn't seem to help anymore.
I've sort of localised the problem to Aperture. When I quit aperture, an information window "updating information for sharing previews" and a progress bar apperars. If this takes only a couple of seconds, then iTunes doesn't seem to detect any changes I've made. Sometimes it takes from 30 seconds to a minute and usually after that everything works.
I tried to google this and others seem to have had similar problems but I didn't find a solution. Is there one?

I have the same problem and apple needs to fix this - but in the mean time you can manually select the vertical photos then "import - import selected" and you can get your verticals. We need a better fix. THIS IS A BUG!

Storage Space with Photo Connector

I have a 20gb u2 photo iPod. I'm using an ipod photo connector and it seems to only let me store about 2gb of photos when this is still like 12gb of free space on the ipod. What is the go with that?

Do you mean that you want to create a two way mirror storage space with 6TB space?
Based on my test, I create three VHD, two 4GB VHD and one 8 GB VHD.
And then try to create a two way mirror storage space. Please take a look at the following screenshot.
The total pool capacity is only 13.7 GB, so I can create a 8GB storage space with fault tolerant.

Photoshop/Elements to Revel Photo Migration Problem!

What happened to my Photoshop/element photos? They were supposedly migrated, but I don't see them! I have no albums in my Revel account.I had a paid subscriiption and it was cancelled back in or around February, and told that the photos would be moved over to REVEL...Can anyone help me to get them back?

First, thanks Pattie for following up with me. I am going to check my backed up hard drives to see if my photoshop materials are on them. It will take me a few days, as I have only small amounts of time to research it at this time. maybe a break will come in a day or two for a determination.

Is it possible you logged into Photoshop.com with a different email, or is it possible that you did not set up your Elements to sync with Photosho.com? These are the two main reasons users can not find their files.
The Photoshop.com account created in 2009 with the email you use to log in to this forum has no files in it, and therefore, nothing migrated to the Revel account with the same login. You do have a Revel account with the same login, but it is also empty since nothing migrated.

Fault with iPad photo connector kit

I have a photo connector kit for SD card into iPad 2. It has worked successfully until now when it loads the pictures but the button to press to import does not work so I cannot download them. Is this a fault with the connector or the iPad?

I take the card from camera and put it in the camera connection kit, choose photos on ipad and insert. Photos on card load up as usual. I tick the ones I want to import then press the Import Symbol. Nothing happens. I press as usual then try a light tap or a longer press but no response.

C7280 & Photo Tray Problem

I have a C7280 that displays Photo Tray Problem.
I am unable to clear this problem.
I have tried pulling the tray out and reinserting it.
I have tried powering the printer down by unplugging it.
There is no telling what combination of buttons I have pushed.
All of the above without any improvement.
What do you suggest?

What kind of issue are you having?
Do you get an error on the computer? Or on the printer?
Where are you trying to print photos from? The computer or the printer?

Apple Photo Connector Question

I've just received the photo connector, which works great with my Canon camera.
I noticed it placed it into a folder called DCIM on the IPod, and I had a real pain putting this into iTunes and then syncing.
Whilst on holiday, I will not be taking my laptop - just my Ipod and Camera. Why does it need to sync first before being able to view the slideshows on TV?
All it would need to do is transfer the images (and thumbnails) into the correct folder on transfer and it would work straight away. Its a bit annoying.
Is this planned for the next software release (1.3)??

HP C7280 Error Message "Photo Tray Problem"

I have been through all the steps recommended for solving this but have no resolution. HELP!

HP Photosmart C7280 All-in-One Printer
1. Turn off printer.
2. Pull out paper tray and photo tray
3. Remove output duplexer (on back of printer)
4. Open input sheet feeder (on top of printer)
5. Open cartridge access door. (Basically lift up control panel and scanner section of the printer)
6. Turn on printer (Power button on now raised control panel)
7. Printer may display message "Performing printer alignment - Do not interrupt"
8. Wait for a few minutes until printer stops making all setup noises.
9. Close cartridge access door, close input sheet feeder, replace output duplexer, insert paper trays
10. Do a test print. All should be fine.
