Photo copyright/encryption online????

I want to use iWeb for my professional website. Can I? How do I? protect my images on my iWeb site from being stolen/dragged off as jpegs, etc. Does iWeb have an encryption ability or something?
If not does anyone have a recommendation on how to do this or software or service to buy?
God Bless

Many iWeb users build business sites.
You cannot protect your images against download/copying. The best protection is to watermark them.....

  • How do I open a photo and post online?

    Good evening,
how do I open a photo and post online if it's Adobe Reader?

Adobe Reader can only open PDF files; is your photo a PDF?
Posting files online is not something Adobe Reader can do, other than to https://cloud.acrobat.com/

  • I accidentally deleted my photos; how do I download my files and photos from Adobe Online Storage?

I accidentally deleted my photos; how do I download my files and photos from Adobe Online Storage?

So i think backup online the the most effective way to protect data loss!
If you found you have lost your important files, you can just download it from the online server.
And if you delete your files from hard disk and cannot download it from online storage, there is still another way-data recovery software to recover your lost files.

  • Pictures in Photo Library or Online are crashed after installing iOS 8

    Hi
Im using iPhone 5 and a few days ago I update it to be iOS 8, what happened is that images were crashed when I zoom pictures in photo library or even searching picture online. But in the evening it was okay again until now. I don't know what happening with my phone.
Thanks for reading my issues and I'm very glad to get a response of the idea of this problem.

    Thanks for your reply King_Penguin
Re your first point - 'Sync collections' was ticked in both the iPad and Mac versions of iBooks prior to these problems occurring.
Why have recently purchased or installed books been moved to iCloud and moved off my iPad and iMac when previously they were there in my iBooks library collections? They were books I'd read or were in the process of reading.
More confusing is that on my Mac in iBooks there are books that are fully downloaded and not in iCloud yet the same books in iBooks on the iPad are not downloaded and are in iCloud. After I sync this hasn't changed. To my mind this means that sync isn't working properly or that maybe iCloud has somehow been activated on one device and not on the other?
Why should I have to re-download books that were already present in my iBooks library on Mac and iPad prior to my upgrades to Yosemite, iOS 8 and the iBooks  apps?
I have to reiterate that I do not and will not use iCloud and for 2 reasons: it is not secure and Apple uses push marketing to make it difficult for you to not use it.

  • ITunes U photo copyright

The iTunes U Assessment Support Project's web site has a photo of students sitting in a classroom and using their iPods. I would like to use this photo in the banner on our iTunes U site. Who should I contact about copyright permission for this photo?
    It is located at http://edcommunity.apple.com/ali/story.php?itemID=9591&version=753&pageID=2895

I don't want to give you too hard a time here ... but you say you have plenty of photos of students using Zunes and such ... you have Microsoft's approval to post them on sites managed by you? I wouldn't judge Apple too harshly until you can say, "but Microsoft lets us use its artwork." I bet if you wanted to do so, you could take loads of pics of people using iPods at your campus and put them on your iTunes U site. If Apple gave you a hard time about that, I'd probably be as frustrated as you.
To be honest, I am not 100% sure why there is no way for us to obtain promotional images that we can use on our sites (I have a couple of guesses however). It might be wise, perhpas, if Apple granted us access to stock photos (I imagine we'd have to sign something ... somethng restricting how we use them ... and that would have to go past our respective legal counsels).
I know that, ultimately, Apple is a business and that iTunes U is a way to get more students buying iPods. Still, Apple didn't have to do iTunes U ... I don't think we have to kiss their butts or anyting ... but I'm not sure it's cool to use the Z-word either. With a 70% market share and a lot of university karma on their side, dunno how it would motivate them.

  • How can I bulk delete 50,000+ photos from Revel online?

I have already deleted the photos in my catalog that were associated with my Revel online Carosel but they are still showing up on the Revel online Carosel via web or iPad. I can delete individual photos or by date through Revel online via the web or iPad but that takes forever. I need a way to bulk delete all Revel Carosel photos that are showing up online.

With so many photos (50,000+) involved, I think it would be in your best interests to post your thread in the Adobe Revel Forum here.

  • How to set a thumbnail photo in Azure AD? Sync thumbnail photos between Exchange Online and Azure AD?

We're interested in downloading the thumbnail photo for users in an O365 tenant using the REST API, but we're stumped regarding how to set a thumbnail photo for a user in Azure AD.  We haven't found a way to do it via the user interface and it doesn't
appear to sync between Exchange Online and Azure AD.  The only sync reference we've been able to find is between Windows Server AD and Azure AD which is not applicable in our use case?
Any pointers on how to get the thumbnail photo set?

    Greetings!
You may use the sample (Malar has shared above) which helps how to query Azure AD using the Graph API, demonstrates additional REST functionality to Get and Set User Details, including thumbnail photos.
    Would like to add:
    http://matthewyarlett.blogspot.co.uk/2013/08/add-or-update-user-profile-picture.html
You can use the AD module for PowerShell for getting / setting the AD user.
Would like to re-iterate that there are constraints on the sizes and formats supported for the
thumbnailPhoto Active Directory attribute. As a general guideline, keep your images to 96x96 pixels and under 10Kb, using JPG format.
    Thank you,

  • Uploading photos and data online

I run a website previously built by someone else in asp. The
dynamic site runs off data exported from filemaker in html table
form. I have been looking for a new, more direct technique of
organization for our site and am highly interested in Spry. I can
equally export XML from Filemaker Pro. Before I embark on this
switch though, I have two questions.
Is there a "widget" or readymade script for uploading and
overwriting posted data via an admin web page? I am somewhat
familiar with php, but have not tackled this before on my own.
Also our site shows boats and for each boat there is a small
photo gallery w/ descriptors. Looking for gallery options is what
originally lead me to Spry. Our needs entail a user friendly upload
process for said photos and an equally user friendly way to add
descriptions. Currently this is done through the admin section of
the site where we identify the boat and then upload 10 photos. We
would like to have the option to upload as few as two and as many
as 20 pix. to each vessel. In conclusion, is there an equally easy
way to upload/add pictures online in a dynamic way using Spry?
(thumbnails would need to be created simultaneously)
You can see an individual boat example here:
    Boat
    Detail
Notice what happens to the pix if you have less than 10. I
prefer the spry photo layout and think it will accommodate the
varing number of photos we get for each vessel.
Anyway, I appreciate any insight. I think this program would
be a good match and am willing to learn as I go, but want to be
certain it meets that basic criteria before I jump in head first.
PS- I'm definately going to use it for my personal art site
    and can't wait! Thank you.

The OneDrive is up to date and I unistalled and reinstalled it as well. OneNote is a default app in the phone and can not be uninstalled or reinstalled.
I also found that if I log into OneDrive using Internet Explorer on my phone I am not able to open any OneNote files from there either. All other file types work just fine. Using PC I have no issue opening the OneNote files so must be something wrong in the OneNote app in my phone itself.
And I do have the latest software update on my phone.

  • I cant log into my iCloud through windows app. I cant see backed up photos through the online iCloud

When I try to login to iCloud though the windows app I just get the spinning login wait icon and nothing happens. It will stay like this all day.
Here is the screen I get:
I can login to my iCloud online but it doesn't show my backed up pictures from my iPhone and iPad which should be there and which it is saying it is backing up.
I have tried re-installing and also changing my password through Forgot apple ID or password?
Can anyone help with this? I have full permissions on my machine and admin rights
    Thanks

You can't see your iCloud backup on icloud.com.  You can only access the backup by restoring it to your iPad.
You can import your camera roll photos to a computer as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083, then transfer them to a USB memory stick if that's what you're asking.  You can also upload them to another cloud service so they are backed up, such as Dropbox.  (If you open a free dropbox account, you can use the free dropbox app to automatically upload your photos to your account.)

  • Tip for Photo Stream use, Online Bill pay conformation.

When you pay bills online and get the conformation screen with a conformation number saying please print for your records. Take a screen snapshot instead and import into iPhoto. With Photo Stream turned on the snapshot will be on all your devices. If there is ever a problem with a payment your conformation is right there on iPad/iPhone. I think it's a great way to save records of certain payments.

So I will replace Safari with Firefox? I was reading somwhere on these posts the other day that I can set Firefox to be my default browser, but then I thought someone said that it caused other problems on their computer (locking up?) Again, maybe I am getting 2 different posts confused. Could this happen if I change from Safari to Firefox?
Don't replace Safari; just try Firefox for the bank site that doesn't work with Safari. You can leave Safari as the default browser, and use it for everything other than the bank site.

  • Photo editing for online store products

I am looking for a product so I can edit my photos to insert in an online store where the requirements are a picture of the product only on white background.  Will photoshop help me achieve this easily?

I believe that the degree of control that you'd need necessitates an application on your Mac, rather than a $3 app on the iPad. You might consider Photoshop Elements - 90% of the power of the full PS at 10% of the price. Shop around. With rebates, you can probably get it for $60 to $70 and it's well worth that price.

  • Am suddenly unable to view photo's in online boutiques...

The last Mavericks update took out the photo's in my shopping sites AND emails...just updated Flash to see if that helps - it did not.  Am at a loss...I use Firefox, but same issue in Safari.  Any ideas how to fix this?  Thank you!

This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you turn on the computer, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a Fusion Drive or a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to start up and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually login automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.

  • Photos sent to Online printing service darker than on calibrated monitor

ok, I know that prints are typically darker than what is shown on the screen(with loss of detail in the shadows that was visible on the screen.) I calibrated my monitor using both the eyeone display 2 puck and coloreyes software using gama 2.2, D65, Luminance 120. (which calibrated closely to using the eyeone software. I am using a 2008 macbookpro laptop. I like the colors on the screen and I exported the files using sRGB but also checked the soft proof and both the soft proof and exported photos (in preview) looked fine.
Here are my questions. I used black point compensation, is this correct?
Also, knowing that the photos are printing darker what is the best way to compensate? Should I use the gamma adjustment on the export or should I perform an adjustment on the photo in aperture? (If in aperture which adjustment?)

Can you print them yourself? How do they look?
IME, Black Point Compensation should be used (I forget why, but it is recommended).
If prints you make look right, I would bring it up with the on-line printing service.

  • Photosho Elements 7 disabling Photo shop Elements Online

Can anyone please help in disabling Photoshop Elements Online from help menu in Adobe Photoshop elements 7
    Thank you
    Hk

    Hi,
Thank you for the link. I have downloaded the PDF file and it does help a bit. However, it is not the same as clicking on Help and getting the options for Search, Index and Contents tabs that most Windows applications (including previous version of Elements and Photoshop CS2) have.
Why can't I just press F1 and get help that resides on my hard drive?
