Photo distorted after uploading into Photoshop

I recently downloaded a trial version of Photoshop. I have tried uploading several different photos and they all come out distorted...either sections are blocked out as a solid color or several dots across the picture. I am looking for help.

Go to view in the top menu bar. Scroll down to Pixel Aspect Ratio Correction. Usually clicking this on or off will correct the problem.

Why are my photos printed after work in photoshop coming our with faded color?

I am on a Mac with Maverick, using Photoshop CS6 and Lightroom 5. I am doing a portrait of 24 people and need to combine several photos to get an appealing final product. I move my photos from Lightroom and in Photoshop using mask layers have been combining the pictures. When I transfer them out as a Jpeg, and send them to a commercial printer they come out with a faded color look. I am at my whits end trying to figure out what I am doing wrong. Does anyone know what the solution is to this frustrating problem?

So gator, I am using a calibrator on my monitor and both printers Costco and Mpixpro are giving me the same results. If I dont do more than two layers in my work, I get fantastic results that I am totally pleased with. It is only when I involve multiple pictures and multiple layers. Are you saying to be in ProPhotoRGB unitl I create it into a Jpeg and then change it to a sRBG, for export to the printer. Do my settings look correct to you in LR and PS? Because, the more I here from the Forum, the more I think it is a setting deaper than my knowlege goes. Help please! I am attaching an example of my finished product in LR and it looks the Same in Photoshop as you can see. So I am including a view in my LR of the screen shot, a view in PS w the layers after the layers have been flattened, then a shot of saving it (But I have been saving it in "standard" not "optimized as in this picture) but you notice it is saying it is saving it as a ProPhotoRGB, and the last shot is the screenshot of it as a Jpeg in PS. Also I am including Info shots on the screen of the PS file and the Jpeg in hopes someone will see my problem and know the solution. When I do info checks, they show sRBG about 80% and ProPhotoRBG about 20% even though I have used the same steps? I have tried to capture a bunch of my work in screen shots that you might see the issue. Thanks so much for your time and help!

Importing photos from iPhoto 11 into Photoshop Elements 9

I am trying to import the iPhoto events into Photoshop Elements 9 Organizer. All the photos are imported into one single catalog. How do I import into separate catalogs in the Elements Organizer, just like separate events in iPhoto?

How do you export a Premiere Pro screen shot without distortion when importing into Photoshop?

How can I take a screen shot in Premiere Pro (CS6 or CC) without it becoming distorted? Lately, when doing this, the images are elongated. Then, when I bring the image into Photoshop, it looks fine, except that the Pixel Aspect Ratio has been automatically engaged. I seem to not be able to do anything to the image to correct it and when saved, it goes back to its distorted form. What am I doing incorrectly? What is the fix for this? Is this a Premiere issue or a Photoshop issue? BTW, I posed the same question on the Photoshop forum. SIDE NOTE: I tried to resolve this via a chat session...that was an exercise in futility.

The MTS files that I imported into my project are 1080i 29.97 fps, upper field first, 1.0 pixel aspect ratio.
I tried encoding an AVI with the Lagarith codec with these settings and had better results this time but the frame rate still stuttered.
I even tried making an MOV with the H.264 setting and had strange results.
I can make an H.264 MP4 at 1920x1080 with no problem.
What are the exact settings for an MOV or AVI just in case I missed something? I really want to have an uncompressed file to archive that can be easily edited later on. I'm thinking that MOV would be the most flexible format.

Searching pdf's content after uploaded into my table

I have managed to get pdf files uploaded into my table using the following code:

:p5_part1 is the file browse item on page 5. I now want to be able to search the content of all pdf documents loaded in my table for strings entered by the user. I have read the Oracle Text Application white paper, but this appears to require the name of all documents being entered in the code, rather than being done dynamically.
I am finding it hard to convert the code in the white paper to accomodate my needs. Has any one got any code or ideas of how to approach this task ?

This is not as difficult as you're making it sound. There is no requirement that the name of all documents is in code. You're basically 90% of the way there. All you need to do is create an Oracle Text index on this table.

Once it's properly indexed, you can perform whatever CONTAINS query you desire in a reporting region, PL/SQL block, whatever. Note that you'll need to keep your index in sync as you add content to it, but that's in the Text Reference guide - you just need to get the basics working now.

My iphone photos will not upload into iphoto?

When I try to upload my iphone photos into my iphoto it will load the photos but will not let me import the photos. I have tried several times and even let it sit over night, it seems to stay frozen and will not let me upload them. I need to create more space on my phone but it will not allow me to upload photos on iphoto? What can I do? Is there another program to upload my photos into?

Photos missing after upload to icloud photos

Good Morning,
We recently activated the icloud photo beta app to move all of the ipad photos into icloud as we were having issues accessing a few photos from the photostream and though it may be a good starting point.
Since the upload a selection of photos are missing from the ipad photostream and are not visible in the icloud photos web page.
We have tried a restore of the ipad to the same day we set the upload going, however this has restored without the same batch of photos.
Can anyone suggest a reason for this happening, has this happened before?
We are using an ipad 2 on 8.1.2
ANy assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Set content type based on file extension after uploading into document library

when there are multiple content types associated with a document library, say, report builder report, and excel documents, after you drag and drop a document into the document library, content type will not be detected based on the file extension. Suppose
your default content type is document, and you had added the report build report content type, and you uploaded a .RDL file, the content type for the file will be set to the default document content type.
I get a requirement to update the content type automatically based on the file extension, what follows is my code:

Some photos distorted after 2.2 upgrade

I upgraded to 2.2 two days ago and noticed that the pictures that I saved form emails are now severly pixelated. This affected not only the photos that I saved before the upgrade, but the ones I am saving after the upgrade. All of the photos taken with the iphone camera are still fine.
When I open the photo in the email in my iphone it looks great, as soon as I save it to my photos and open it it loses allot of resolution.
Anyone else having these problems?
I hope they fix this soon.

Some photos in the camera roll have always been blurry at first, but self correct after a second or two. Since 2.2 upgrade, some of the photos remain out of focus.

Sound distorted after uploading

Hello,
My problem is simple. After recording video with bandicam (doesnt matter OpenGL/DirectX or Screen), Win7 sounds are perfect. Untill I put that video into Premiere Pro, at that point sound bar looks like big fat sausage and without turning volume almost to mute you cant listen to it. What do you think the problem is. If that's gonna help : My PC (i5-3470 / Amd radeon r7 260x / 16Gb RAM)

Photos disappear after upload

I'm having problems with my pictures disappearing after I publish them. They show up fine in iWeb but I just get a broken picture icon when I view my site online. It seems like they're not being added to the files folder in order to upload but I can't figure out how to correct the issue.

Your logo doesn't show up on the index page because the file (logo_1.jpg) is actually in the index_files folder but it's being looked for in the Images folder. Similarly, oneweek_to_go3.JPG, the image which should appear in your '1 Week to Go' blog entry, is missing from the Images folder where it is expected to be. Have you at any time manually moved any of your image files around after publishing to your folder and before uploading?

The Canon S100 wasn't supported until version 6.6 of camera raw and that isn't supported by pse 8.
You options are to either upgrade to pse version 10 or use the DNG converter
