Photo download from iPhone in sync

When I sync my iPhone, all works fine, except:
The Camera Roll images do not show up in the iPhoto library. Why?
Don't see why it does not auto sync.
Have rebooted the iPhone (hold home and top button - preserved the data OK).
Anxious not to do upgrade on the iPhone as I cannot get the Camera roll to sync.
Can't find any reference to the probelm. Thanks

Did reboot. Still does not show up as a device. Seen and synced in iTunes, but does not show as a device elsewhere.
Thought might be the connecting cable (sometimes mix my nano cable) BUT used the other cable and same result.
iPhoto shows no devide (neither in finder as well). iTunes knows the device.
Image capture says same thing - no device connected.
+iPhoto 6 shouldn't be a problem but Image Capture should recognize your iPhone as a digital camera regardless if there is a problem with iPhoto.+

Why are my photos downloaded from iphone blank?

When I download via ios7 on to my macbook pro (4,1 from 2008) they sometimes come up with no image. My screen is unlocked. I don't know if this is an iphone problem or a macbook problem. I have never had a problem until yesterday. I moved to ios7 a few days ago.

If you turned off Contacts wouldnt that mean that the Contacts would no longer be backed up to iCloud as well? That would make it a pain when upgrading a phone to not easily pull contacts back down.

That is a Windows option - not a phone option. You need to modify your Autoplay options on your PC

Yes Camer Roll is there but not Photo Library. Photo option is also not available when attempting Sync via USB.

Depends on the album and how it got there.
If it is an album that you sync'd to the device, you would remove it the same way - by hooking up the device to sync, de-selecting the album in the Photos profile screen, and then syncing the device
If it is an album you created, you would need to manually delete the album itself by clicking on Edit from the main display and then clicking on the minus sign to delete the album. This does not delete the photos in the album, however. If you want the photos deleted, you have to select them and then delete them manually.
Camera Roll photos will ask if you want to delete them when you import the Camera Roll to a computer.
Photo Stream photos are either deleted manually, or you can turn off Photo Stream altogether to remove Photo Stream from your device.

Photos downloaded from my camera get stored in PhotoStream

Some of my recent photos downloaded from my camera (not from my Iphone) got stored into "PhotoStream2 and into "Events", how can I avoir having them going to PhotoStream ? Shouldn't it be only pictures takes from my Iphone that go to Photostream ?

Aperture and iPhoto uploads the photos to Photo Stream, so this is the reason. Deactivate it in System Preferences > iCloud, but it deactivates the download of photos in iCloud

Are you asking about albums created in the "Photos.app" ?
In the Photos app, click edit, then click the red minus icon that appears.
For albums you created on your computer and synced to your device using iTunes:
These albums can only be deleted by syncing again with your computer and deselecting the album when syncing.
All other albums in iPhoto are created automatic as need be (Edited, Flagged, Favorites, Custom (tags), iTunes, Beamed, Photo Box); these albums will be deleted, when the photos inside are no longer present - the edits and tags removed.

Try swiping the downloading progress indicator, which presumably says "Paused" now. That should give you a "delete" option on the right.
If not, try syncing your iPhone using iTunes.
