How do I get print language to be in english. Uninstalled and reinstalled oki printer several times using english as language and when printing out of photoshop language set up is in spanish?

The Okidata printer is printing exactly what Photoshop Elements tells it to print. If your text or comments are in Spanish, French, or English, then Photoshop will tell the printer to print that information in that language. The Okidata printer is dealing with a binary file of information that your computer has sent it. That file would be the same no matter what country you are in.
I have an Okidata 5200 color laser postscript printer I've been using for over four years. It just does what it has been told.
With my Okidata printer, I change the printer's setup preferences by starting my browser and typing in 192.168.2.2 or 192.168.1.101.
You can try that, and see what options and settings are available to you. Be very, very careful about what you change. Think of making changes as do-it-yourself brain surgery. If you do change something that you shouldn't have changed, you always can manually reset your printer, which will reset the settings back to the factory default, and then re-log on and set up the printer settings again.
I'm not sure if this type of browser access is available on your Okidata printer because I don't know what type of Okidata printer you have. My printer is a fairly sophisticated one. It is directly connected to my wireless network, and talks to my computer through both of my wireless networks. Any computer with access to either wireless network can use the printer.
I really don't think that changing your printer options will solve your problem, but this will allow you to see what printer options are available.
You should go to Okidata's web site on a regular basis to see if they have released a new driver for your printer. That web site is: http://my.okidata.com/pp-C5200ne.nsf/openingdrivermenu?OpenFrameSet . I go there once a month as part of my monthly maintenance. I live in the Macintosh world, and didn't upgrade to the latest version of the operating system (10.6.2) until Okidata had released a new printer driver that was compatible with this version of the operating system.
It isn't that I really, really want to have the latest printer driver. Printer manufacturers generally only release new printer drivers when there is a serious reason to do so - such as they found a serious problem that they want to eliminate with a new driver. In such cases, I would rather have the new driver than risk falling into the hole that they have discovered.

Email a photo, ele.11 win 8.

When in Editor and selecting a photo then going to Share and selecting Email Attachment and sending it to myself upon opening the attacment in my email it shows my Download MGR. and all its folders. Is this correct or should just the selected photo be there. I did this when I first got ele. 11 andI thought it just showed the photo or photos to forward am I wrong?

Adobe is aware of the problem.
My advice until it's working again - use a work-around, e.g.
* MapiMailer - what I used to use, and still works.
* Outlook Script - what I use now, even though Lr's native emailing is still working for me (knock on wood) - win7/64 + Outlook 2007.
* Or just email to disk then drag to email... (tip: have post-processing auto-open the folder where you've exported the files for email).

Emailing Photos in Ele Ver 6.

What is the best practice to email photos in Elements 6? We often have groups of photos and af course need to adjust resolution for an accetable email level. We are using Eudora (Primarily) or gMail as our Mail clients.
Further we are considering upgrading to Ele ver 8 and are concerned about the similarities of workflow for emailing.

We will likely be upgrading to Win 7 in the next few months so willl likely move to Elements 8 with Win 7. We are concerned about the emailing proceedures in Elements 8 as well.
We would prefer to use the Adobe Mailer but at this point do not See a "NEXT" choice under the highlighted images. Adobe mailer is chosen under preferences. Seems somewhat similar to version 5.

Not sure about the missing photos from the Photo Stream section of 'Recent', however to stop photos populating the events, turn off Automatic Import (iPhoto Preferences > Photo Stream)

Ele-10... Still searching for photos...

Thanks 99jon! I backed up my A-E10 program and files to an EXTERNAL HD before re-installing my xp-os. No, I did not have the "internal BACK-UP" system on.. Now that I have (re)installed my A-E10 back on my HD, I'm praying that there's a way to bring back the adobe photo files I believe are stored on the external drive, hidden in the A-E10 program files, I originally backed up to this ext hd...
...After trying the "catalog" search and "convert" action, I have found nothing. Is there an ".EXT" or file name where the photos in A-E10 are saved to, that I can use to search the extenal hd?

HELP!!! WITH ELE. 12 RE SHARING PHOTO MAIL

While using Elements 10 I could send photos from my organizer using photo mail with Adobe email. Since installing Elements 12 I have requested several times to have a code needed to setup this procedure for 12. Why have I not received the email with code I need?? This is very frustrating. It's very to difficult to speak with a real person to get help.

I would not normally recommend going back to earlier software but if you are re-building it may be worth installing the original version of MS Live Mail. But PSE does not work with Live Essentials 2011.

You photos are not stored in either Photodhop Elements or Premiere Elements. They are in a folder in your computer. Just do a search for .jpeg (or whatever your file format is).
You do have a backup, right?

Can't Show Over 500 Photos In Photoshop Ele.2 Browser

Hello Folks,
I have posted this problem on most of the Apple forums with no luck - and, yes, it has also been put on the Adobe Photoshop Forum.
So you are probably my last hope!
I use Photoshop Elements 2 on my eMac.
It displays albums/folders of photos up to around 500 OK.
However, if I have a folder of around 600 or more and I scroll down to see the last ones, I come across impenetrable black covering the last 100 or so pictures.
I increased my RAM from 256MB to 768MB but it didn't seem to make much difference.
Is this limit caused by Photoshop itself or is the problem with my computer. It doesn't happen with iPhoto!
I had better explain why I need such large folders.
I sometimes work with projects containing up to 1000 photos.
Usually I split them into folders of 100 which are easy to handle.
However, I often find I need to take a quick overview of the full 1000 - that's why I need them altogether.
iPhoto is fantastic for that. One can have thousands of photos and scroll through them in seconds if necessary. Unfortunately iPhoto's image editing facilities are very rudimentary compared with PSE2.
So if anyone has experienced this problem and found a solution I would very much like to know.

Actually I can get more images on if I set them to Medium instead of Large.
The actual cut-off with large thumbnails is around 550 so I don't think it is deliberately built in.
As for using iPhoto for browsing that's what I'll have to do though it is irritating to have to use 2 programs when one should really be enough.

O Facebook tem um malware, q eu não sabia ser, chamado Zoom Photo. Sempre escapo deles, mas este me foi enviado um convite de pessoa confiável. Inicialmente ele cumpre o q promete - amplia as imagens - mas depois comecei a receber feeds de q EU havia convidado pessoas pra este aplicativo. Ocorre q nunca convido ninguém e foi então q comecei a desconfiar q era um malware. Só tive tempo de avisar q não envio convites e q, portanto não era um aplicativo, mas uma praga. Disse 'só tive tempo' porque o Firefox não abre mais o Facebook, mas tão somente uma página com letras azuis, dizendo ser o Facebook, outras linhas como mensagens, mas nada de imagens, feeds, página inicial, nada, nada. Isto só ocorre no Facebook. As demais páginas abrem normalmente como antes. Logo, isto é algo feito para capturar o Facebook. Já mudei de senha, mas isto não funciona. Já fiz muita coisa e nada resolveu. Já procurei nos programas instalados no computador e não aparece nada. Consegui abrir este site noutro navegador - Chrome - mas outros problemas começaram a ocorrer. No Chrome eu consegui remover a praga, lá aparece nas extensões. No Firefox não aparece nada para ser removido. Não há nenhuma extensão que possa remover este malware. O que faço para me livrar disto e voltar a usar o Facebook no FireFox, meu navegador padrão? Além disto, vejo que o pc ficou mais lento. Terei q reinstalar o navegador? Só falta isso. Grata.

I will gladly help you with your problem but please give me a
link to your gallery wither as a private message or by email
([email protected]). The files here pasted are incorrect, look to
the SetSlideShowTimer() or the StartSlideShow() functions above
that are incomplete. Not mentioning that the CSS are really make
the difference.
It will take me more time to try to reconstruct your
structure, not having all the files you reference and probably not
being able to duplicate your problem because the deployment
failure.

I have a problem with elements 11 freezing up while editing photos.

It freezes up with a checkered window of the photo. I uninstalled/reinstalled the software and that worked for a while but now the probelm has returned. It seems to have cured it for a while but now the problem has returned. I have to restart the computer everytime this occurs. It is working fine at the moment but I know it is goingot happen again. I looked for an update but I couldn't find one for Photoshop Ele 11.

Now at version 9, so that is old enough that I do not think Adobe has a download now
But, since this is a USER TO USER forum, with only the space provided by Adobe, it may be that nobody here will know what old products Adobe has
Does your laptop have a program to create an install CD from the "reserve" area?
Have you asked your laptop vendor if they will sell you an install CD?

How can I change pre. Ele. 3.0 registration with new CD

I lost my original premiere elements CD. I purchased a new CD thru ebay. When I try to install the software it says the registration is invalid and reinstall Pre. Ele. 3.0. How do I change the registration(product key no.) in my computer so that I can install Pre. Ele. 3.0 again to access my old photos and vedios. If there is way to go into regedit and change the key I will do that. But I do not know whre the product key for Pre. Ele. 3.0 was kept in the system. If somebody knows the way to solve the problem please help me, So that I do not have to buy the software thirdtime from Adobe or Panasonic. The software bundle came with my Panasonic vedio camere which I bought in Feb. 2009. I went to the seller and asked for resolution and he said I have to buy the software again.

This is something that you will need to contact Adobe Customer Support (Contact at top of the main forum page) to do. If you registered your copy of PrE, you should also be able to get the S/N through your Adobe I.D., though it sounds like you have your S/N, but it's just not working. Is that correct? Though it's too late now, you might want to see this THREAD from the Adobe Photoshop Forum on purchasing Adobe products from eBay.

I have Phoshop 3.0 and Never Registered it not knowing it was shut down so when i tried to register of course it did not work and Adobe Emalled me saying PhotoShop was dead and I dont know how to get photos any where eles on computer because I am so use to using PhotoShop can anyone help me I am running Windoes XP on an HP Please help Thanks and if any one knows a back way in please let us know thanks
