Photo Email

I have Photoshop Elements 12 and I am tryin to send a picture using Photo Email. I read the tutorial and it says selct Preferences, Sharing then if you have Windows 7 to selct it from the drop down menu. However, only option I have to selct is Adobe Email Serice. Even if I selct that, it says an email verification email will be sent to my email address but it never comes. Can someone help me please.

Do you have Windows Live Mail on your Windows 7 system?
In Organizer, if you go to Edit -> Preferences -> Sharing the drop down options for Email client should include Windows Live Mail.
If it doesn't, refer to this document.

Item 3 mentions a download. When you have downloaded the file, you may find it has a .htm extension - change it to a .reg extension before executing it.
That creates registry keys that should allow organizer to use Windows Live Mail.

First click on the Apple > Logout and Log back in or restart the unit see if that solves it. If it doesn't do you have a backup of your system prior to upgrade? Check Disk Utility and see how much space is being used to make sure the drive wasn't somehow erased.

What she wants to do is get all she wants from ipad 1 to new ipad without finishing up with 2 of everything which happen on previous occasion. I realise that she needs to tidy up ipad 1 first and get rid of thousands of emails etc. I need help.

Hi yes that works well when the new ipad hasn't been used. Trouble new one has been used for two months or more, has lots photos email etc etc. I am worried that these will go. When we did iPhone thru same process finished up with two of most things pics and emails. The emails alone were over 2 thousand and wife reluctant to delete them all. I would and just sort pics. Any other ideas

Photo Email problem

I recently downloaded Photo Email and purchased the templates, but when I send an email I get the MSG that my email address and/or password are invalid. It's the address and password I use for my Apple ID. - what could be my problem?

It may be some limitation on the TMobile's MMS server that prevents pictures of a certain size to be sent via MMS...

If I want to share a photo ( email) I get the answer: server doesn't recognize the username/password combination ? What's up ???

Accounts ->
Delete and recreate your email settings.
Alternatively, use Apple's Mail for the job. It has Templates too - and more of them.

I am trying to get the verification code to be able to send photo emails and i don't seem to be able to get the CODE.

Are you using the Adobe Email Service, or a client (e.g. Outlook)?
Is there an error?
At what point in the creation of the email does it crash?
Has it worked in the past?
Has it (does it) work with different files?

Photoshop 9 Crashes when sending Photo Emails

I just got Photoshop 9 and I installed plugins. When I tried to send a photo email last night it kept saying it needed to close when I tried to send an email with photo emails under share. The photo email would appear on the right hand side of the screen. Both 8 and 9 are listed as sending it through Adobe Photoshop Services. I do also still have Photoshop 8 installed on the computer. However I don't think that should matter.

dont know whats up with sending pictures.

use pust next a of times and elements 9 says:
elements orginizer could not finish creating your emil message.
it then give you an allternative way to send..

Which operating system are you running on?
Which version of Photoshop Elements are you using?
If you are on a Windows system, use Windows Explorer to locate the actual organizer - should be somewhere like this
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Elements 12 Organizer\PhotoshopElementsOrganizer.exe"
If you are on a 32 bit system, omit the (x86) part.
Right click on that file and choose "Run as Administrator" - then try the email.
You need only do this once, you should be able to load normally after that.
If you still have problems please gives us details of which step it fails at.

Problems viewing photos emailed out of iphoto

Friends with Iphonez and Ipads are not able to view my photos emailed out of my Macbook Pro through Iphoto. The photos look distorted (too tall and too wide) and if I send multiple emails containing photos, the same set of photos keeps going out. So weird...can't figure it out.

Unfortunately, Starter Edition 3.2 has been discontinued for some time now; an alternative option (which is free) could be google Picasa; check that one out to see if it might work for you.
Photoshop Elements replaced Starter Edition, and comes with a sophisticated organizer that essentially does what Starter Edition did; download the tryout and use it for 30 days for free to see if it does what you want it to.

How to ensure that photos emailed thru the iPhoto sharing facility are sent from my default address

When I mail a photo using the sharing facility it goes from my secondary, not my default, email address. The dropdown "from" box does not offer my default (Gmail) address only my secondary and icloud addresses. All emails sent through mail go from my default (Gmail) address. Why does this not show in iphoto?

Click on the "+" button and add your Gmail account to the iPhoto/Accounts preference pane.

I photo email puts pics in TEXT not as attachments only.

In Iphoto when I use the email feature it puts in the picture in the TEXT OF THE MESSAGE not as attachments only. HELP!!!

i just did that and it turned up in gmail as an attachment. however, i receive embedded photos in my gmail from other people all the time so there has to be something configured differently to make that happen.

Problems sharing photos: email, uploading, etc

EVERY SINGLE TIME I email a photo or try to upload photos to Facebook, I get the color wheel and have to FORCE QUIT iphoto. Help!

Do you have iPhoto or Mail set at your email client? You can check that in iPhoto's General preference pane:

A quick first fix is this: make a duplicate copy of the library and try the following:
1 - delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your Home()/ Library/Preferences folder.
2 - delete iPhoto's cache file, Cache.db, that is located in your Home()/Library/Caches/com.apple.iPhoto folder.
3 - launch iPhoto and try again.
NOTE: If you're moved your library from its default location in your Home/Pictures folder you will have to point iPhoto to its new location when you next open iPhoto by holding down the Option key when launching iPhoto. You'll also have to reset the iPhoto's various preferences..

I'm running the latest Snow leopard with iPhoto '11, 9.1.1. I've published an album to my gallery, and selected the option to allow others to email to that gallery. Every time I try and email a photo there, it comes back as undeliverable; text from email follows ( I removed only my address and the gallery address):
