Photo Error

Hello All,
I am getting the following warning:
Archived Documents: Document available, but not accessible. Contact your system administrator
in MSS, 'General Information' - even though the picture is showing!
Also, when selecting 'Change Office and Communication Data' from 'Self-Service for My Employee' (ESS in MSS), The picture does not show!
I added the pictures using T-Code 'OAAD' in infotype 0002.
Any ideas why this is happening?
Regards,
Motaz

Hi,
First try to check in back in PA 30 for that pernrs. If it's displayiing definately it will display.
Other wise you need to get authorisation object S_WFAR_OBJ, from your basis team you can get it.
After getting even though if your not able to see, once in PA30 you try to display for one pernr. Then run the T-code /OSU53
take the screen shot and send to you basis team to get authorisation.
Regards,
Shankar.

First few folders imported are fine, after loading 10 or so folder all the files afterwords have the above error, if I remove all files, and reload in a different order files that were giving the error will load correctly, and files that loaded correctly before now load with errors.

Here is a snippet from a discussion on another forum that includes a quote from Jeff Schewe, whom I consider to be a very good source for reliable information:
Look, I'll make it REAL simple...
    TIFF = Good
    PSD = Bad
PSD is now a bastardized file format that is NOT a good idea to use. Even the Photoshop engineers will tell you that PSD is no longer the Photoshop "native" file format. It has no advantages and many disadvantages over TIFF.
TIFF is publicly documented, PSD is not. That makes TIFF a preferred file format for the long term conservation of digital files.
And, let me be blunt, anybody who thinks PSD is "better" than TIFF is ignorant of the facts. If Adobewould let them, the Photoshop engineers would tell you to quit using PSD.

  • Missing Photo Error

I have been attempting to correct a missing photo error to export to .pdf and send to blurb.  For whatever reason, I use the Find Missing Photo option in Library and return to the book module to export but this keeps happening.  Any suggestions?

I don't think the thumbnail was the solution, but it got me thinking. First I made sure that I did have a full res photo in iphoto and tried re-inserting it. No go. Then, I deleted the pages that had had the photo. No go. Somewhere there was a reference to the missing photo I wasn't getting. So, I created a new site and dragged each webpage to the new site. Once all the existing pages were in the new site, I deleted the old site name. That did it. No more missing photo message and no errors when uploading to the internet. I then renamed the site to the name I used to have.
    Thanks for the help.

  • Can't synch photos error (-69).  Please HELP!

I don't know if anyone out there will be able to help, but I am becoming desperate. I am having a terrible time synching my ipod photos. For the last several times that I have synched it, I get (-69) errors. I have sought answers on this board and followed their advice and painstakingly was able to synch my ipod after clearing 20+songs from it. However, it now will not synch my photos. Actually, in synched them earlier tonight, and then I added a few more, and it gave me the (-69) message again. I tried removing the most recently added photos, and still nothing. I restored the entire ipod, and still I get the same error message.
I have had the ipod for about a year and just started having this trouble about two weeks ago. I actually tried the solution you gave, but I can't even get my ipod to go into disk mode. I have tried several times and after resetting it always just opens at the normal screen.
I am about at my wits end here and ready to toss the entire thing. I don't know if anyone can help, but I would appreciate any assistance. Thank you in advance, if for nothing else than for taking the time to read this novel of an e-mail.

    Thanks both, really helpful!
I renamed all assets, making sure they we shorter and added underscores instead of spaces just in case, and created the project again. It then worked fine.
    Thanks again.

  • Recovered Imported Photos Error/Message

When I recently converted back from Windows XP to MacOS I did an import of all pictures in My Pictures directory on Windows into iPhoto. Not sure what happened, but there are 145 pictures that are duplicates that I deleted, but then every time I launch iPhoto it now gives me a message stating:
"145 photos have been found in the iPhoto Library that were not imported. Would you like to import them?"
When I select "No" I get next:
"The photos have been placed in the folder /Users/charltonmonsanto/Pictures/iPhoto Library Recovered Photos_17"
17 being the number of times I have launched iPhoto since this started. It creates a folder every single time...
Any way to tell iPhoto to forget about these photos? I have deleted all of the folders. I have said yes to the import question and then deleted them again...

TD...I'm having the same problem, and I am new to Mac. Where do I find the Pictures folder? In Iphoto? I imported all my photos directly from an external hard drive into Iphoto. Come to find out though that maybe I should have downloaded them to a folder in Imac first, then uploaded them into Iphoto. Live and learn. Note...the error repeats each time I open Iphoto, but it's the same pic each time and for the sake of me I can't find it anywhere. Appreciate any help you can give.

  • Who's who upload photo error

    Hi all,
I can upload photos in SAP ERP without any problem, and then these photos appear in PA20 / PA30.
However, when i try to use Portal Component Who's Who i get an error telling that was not possible the upload.
    What am i missing?
    Thanks,
    Luis Cruz

    Hi Luís Cruz,
Even we have tried for it, That is not possible from portal, we have another option.
    Go to Portal
--> Content Administration --> Portal Content --> Content Provided by SAP -->Collaboration
-->Demo Role --> Iviews --> User Photo Maintenance (Self Service)
Using this Service iview we can upload our photo with (100 X 130) dimensions. Where as we can assign this iview in the required home page area (like orkut).

  • CAN NOT SYNC PHOTOS (Error: "The Required file cannot be found")

    Hey All,
So i got a an iPod Touch today from the Apple Soho Store in NYC. Very Excited.
I am getting an error though when syncing my photos. I created an album for the iPod Touch and am only syncing that.
The error that I get is:
*"The iPod "My iPod Name" cannot be synced. The Required file cannot be found."*
    Things I've tried:
    - Not syncing the photos: Everything works fine
    - Not syncing that album, but another album: Same Error
    - Read up on the same problem on the iPhone: The only solution that I saw that didn't work on some iPhones was to clear the Keywords. I WILL NOT CLEAR MY KEYWORDS.
I am using the most update-to-date versions of iTunes, OS X, and iPhoto 08'.
    Please help!
Oh and by the way if you know how to make it Disk-Enabled. Please tell me. Apple is lame for taking that feature away from the iPod.
    - CW

    Hello,
Explore iphoto library (right click, "show package contents"). There is a folder called iPod Photo Cache. You need to delete the contents of that folder dragging them to the trash. Then sync your iphone again.

  • IPhoto 6 - Exporting Photo error message

I am having difficulty exporting photos from iPhoto 6.
The issue is when I choose what I want to export from iPhoto and direct it to another folder or drive etc., it begins the export but then I get the error message "UNABLE TO CREATE/USER/XXXXX/DESKTOP/. The XXX in this case are only place holders. When I hit CANCEL, the process stops and only the pictures up to that point are exported.
    Please advise!
    Thanks,
    Tom

Select one of the affected photos in the iPhoto Window and right click on it. From the resulting menu select 'Show File (or 'Show Original File' if that's available). A Finder Window should open with the file selected. Does it?

  • "Recovered Photos" error

Every time I open iPhoto an error message comes up that says...
"3 photos has been found in the iPhoto Library folder that were not imported. Would you like to import it?"
Whether I hit "yes" or "no" the message goes away, then pops back up again, then I hit "yes" or "no" again and it puts these unreadable files into a "iPhoto Recovered Photos" folder. Each time I open iPhoto, it does it and it creates a new "iPhoto Recovered Photos" folder as well.
I tried moving the folder to the desktop (as it said in Help). I tried deleting it all together. No matter what, it keeps doing the same thing.
What do I need to do??

    1- Quit iPhoto
2 - right click (control click) on the iPhoto library,
3 - select "show package contents"
4 - find the folder named import (or importing) and drag it to the desktop (DO NOT make any other changes)
5 - launch iPhoto and you will be fine
6 - open the import(ing) folder on the desktop and if there are any photos in it you want import them to iPhoto and then delete the import(ing) folder

However, this error always appeared after all the music was already synced. But i cant sync photos. • When trying to sync photos, error -39

When my son tries to sync photos to his ipod nano 3rd generation he gets the following error:"The Ipod 'Michael's Ipod' cannot be synced. An unknown error occurred (-39).
    What is wrong?
    What could have caused it?

It might be worth checking to see if the iPod photo cache has been corrupted. Try deleting the photo cache, as per:
Photo Sync creates iPod photo Cache

  • Rotating photo error in windows

i copied and pasted photos from my iphone 4s on to my laptop and wanted to rotate them because they were not correct,  10 out of 30 saved when i rotated them the others came up with an error message saying that the their is an error with the property file. what is confusing is that all the pictures were taken the same day. i called apple and they are blaming windows for the problem and windows is saying its apple. how can this be fixed? its hard to use a camera phone when it does not work properly. ive read about alot of others having the same problem.

The EXIF info is on the photos and if software is not implemented right you have this problem.
In Windows you can use a free program called irfanview (even a one man programmer can do it right)
    http://www.irfanview.com/
Write to Microsoft and complain to them.
