i have an hp photosmart 6510 .i cannot get pictures from windows7 photo gallary to print on photo paper.it only prints on the regular paper.the pics on my cell phone print on the photo paper.

My iphone 4 will not sync my photo gallary to my Mac Book pro

My iphone 4 has never been able to sync my photos to my laptops. I tried to sync with my Mac Book Pro
but it has not worked. In the sync process I notice the comment " delete photos" as the the sync process progress. All other apps and content sync. Sometimes when I try to sync the Camera Roll on my iphone it will move up into my Albums header and be unaccessable and I will have to reboot my iphone to get to my Camera Roll back.

Photos/videos in the Camera Roll are not involved with the iTunes sync process except for being included with your iPhone's backup, which is updated by iTunes as the first step during the iTunes sync process.
When there are photos/videos in the Camera Roll, your iPhone is also detected as a digital camera when connected to your computer. Photos/videos in the Camera Roll can and should be imported by your computer as with any other digital camera, which is not handled by iTunes.
If you use iPhoto on your Mac for importing photos/vidoes from any other digital camera and for photo storage and management on your Mac, you can use iPhoto for the import. If not, you can use the Image Capture application located in your Applications folder for the import.

LR2 Photo Gallery on Comcast Personal Webpage Does Not Work

In the "Web" section of Lightroom 2, I have created a simple photo gallery. I previewed it using my browser and it works fine. I have uploaded the files via FTP to my comcast account "http://home.comcast.net/~username". I see the all the Lightroom files and folders in the "~username" folder, including the "index.html" file. But I can not get the photo gallary to run. Does anybody have any suggestions? Is anybody runing a Lightroom 2 photo gallery on their comcast personal page. Thank You.

Hi John, this is Kevin's wife, Carol. I do most of the internet work for our car lot.
Kevin and I would both like to thank you for your help . As it turns out, no sooner did I post on this and also the Comcast help forum, (saturday afternoon) the following morning I tryed once again to open the "PWP publishing /edit link" to find a new message.
No longer "connection not available" , but in its place a note saying that the PWP lnks were being updated and may be down for a few hours, however I would first be notified. As it had been down, going on 2 weeks and I had not been notified, I admit it made me shake my head and laugh, however glad . It sure beat that tired old "no connection" message .
I closed the link and tryed re-opening and low and behold, it was all back, nothing updated/improved nor changed,that I could see, but back and working as before.
I was able to edit my pages , most importantly, delete several vehicles that had been sold , add a new piece, and also went ahead and edit the Photo section, no problem. I also removed the "guestbook" which was not getting any use, and added Weather.
Though we didnt sell anything Sunday, Kevin did get 2 phone calls immediately following editing the PWP, both mentioning that they saw the pieces online at Craigslist, and having then checked out our PWP wanted more info, etc, possibly leading to a future sale as has been the case in the past.
My next "challenge" will be to see about replacing the awkward link with something (domain name) I can add to our highway sign , ie - kevincarsales.com We are on a State Road, speed limit is 55 mph, most speed by faster. Still, we do get phone calls that lead to sales from passer-byers who see our numbers ,both sale prices on vehicles and phone number on sign. No doubt adding an easy web link will help, cant hurt.
I am hoping I can do that without additional expense, as our comcast business account bill is already quite high.

Help with creating photo albums

Hi Guys..
I'm pretty new to dreamweaver and am using a trial version at the moment but love it so far...
My problem is that every time i try to create a jpg photo gallary the and select the source and destination file folder,dreamweaver keeps giving me the error message that 'No images files found in image file folder'...
I know that there are plenty of images in the folder and have followed a few youtube instructional videos,but still cant seem to find out what this problem is.
The only element of testing that seemed to work is when i used a folder full of .gif files. the album created then, but used lots of little gif images...
Is there anything i'm missing ?

yes I've done all that the site is up and all created wih several pages.
I created t in fronpage first and have been editing it and 'Put'ing files up for the past few days.
The only thing that doesn't seem to work for me is creating this photo album
I'm trying to create the folder by poiting the source files at a local files folder which I'm sure is the correct way.
When you select folders with images in are oyu able to see previews of the files

Why are my photos zooming out when I set them as wallpaper?

This morning when I was setting some photos as wallpapers I noticed that they are zooming out and whenever I tried to to zoom them in it kept on going back to what it was before in the zoom out and it's not showing the whole picture as it is in my photo Gallary. I tried resetting, I tried turning off the parxell and it's still doing that. It's sorta upsetting cause I don't like my photos enlarged. It looks awful that way. Is there anyway to fix this?

Totally confused with iCloud and multiple devices

Ok, So we have two each of the iPods, iPads and now iPhones. Do we all share the same iCloud? Can we share apps through the cloud? How do I switch my iPad to the new one I got to give this one to my son. I am so new to all this apple stuff. Only been a few months and I'm still really confused. What all goes to the iCloud? How do we see what's in the iCloud? I really the the idiots instructions I think to figure this all out? Can anyone help me? How can I print from the iPad? Everything I see says iOS 10 something? I believe I only have 6 something?

icloud is designed so that only one user uses it to keep his/her devices in sync. When multiple users use the same icloud account, they will then be sharing the same email address, contacts, calendars, notes, etc. Usually that is not what two people want to do.
Can we share apps through the cloud?
You buy apps from the itunes store, that's different than icloud, and multiple users can use the same itunes account so that they can share apps, music, etc. For a family, everyone usually uses the same Apple ID for an itunes account and individual Apple IDs for their icloud accounts.

How do we see what's in the iCloud?
Icloud is designed primarily for syncing data between the devices of the user - like getting all computers and devices to have the same contacts or calendars. When you set up syncing (settings>icloud, turn on the services you want synced between your devices), some of that data will also be available to a computer's browser when you log into icloud.com. Otherwise you view the data using the associated app, like the Calendar app to see events. Other things that may be on icloud, like backups cannot be seen. Also iCloud does not provide a photo gallary that others can view in a browser.

There is no "10", version 6 is the current one. You are probably thinking of OSX, whose versions are 10.x.y. That's for macs, not iOS devices.

NEED URGENT NEW SOFTWARE UPDATE FOR NOKIA X2..

The Nokia X2 runs under S40 6th Edition, which does not allow the user to hide items on the gallery or file manager.
If the feature is like this then what is the use of having 16 GB card??/

As you have been told in another thread the X2 is not going to get the feature for hiding files. The only updates the X2 is likely to receive are to fix bugs, not to add new features.
No series 40 phone has that feature, if you want it you will need to buy a smartphone and use additional software. The sensible option is to simply not allow other people to mess around with your phone or use the keyguard code.
Starting threads spamming the same questions over and over again is not going to make it happen. If you are unhappy that your phone lacks that feature contact nokia care in your country and complain.
There is nothing that anyone can do to help you here and petitioning won't help either.

Lightroom 5 - Building Web Gallery hangs and then fails (worked versions 3, 4 no problems)

The key and only reason I own and use Lightroom is to create and manage my 50,000+ family photos spanning through 3 centuries. (1800s, 1900s, 2000s)

With Lightroom 5 the web galleries I have previously created and uploaded and as well the customer user presets I have created OR the standard templates are now ALL hanging and failing during the "Upload Web Photo Gallary after exporting all the images, etc.
The app does report the folders and files exist on the server so it must be logging in succesfully and parsing files and directories etc?
It then goes off and is looping around "Building Web Photo Gallery" and after about 5 plus minutes it fails with a " an error occured sending the file: connection to the server failed"
Which is probably just because it is broken and then times out because of failure.
I have checked, triple checked, changed passwords and also later uploaded FTP files and etc and actually am now having to EXPORT the whole gallery locally via LR5 and then FTP by hand the whole thing to the website.
defeats the whole reason i have been buying this product?
EVERYTHING works great except Lightroom 5 is now broken for this task to me. All I did was send money to upgrade and install product and upgrade libraries.......so i can't go back right?

Macbook Air Virus?

my macbook air just froze on me while viewing a photo gallary on the internet. I turned it off, and restarted it. However, all I see is a blank gray screen. I tried Command + R, which prompts a message of Apple searching on Internet, but in less that 5 seconds freezes as well. Did my Mac has a virus now?

Take each of these steps that you haven't already tried. Stop when the problem is resolved.
Step 1
The first step in dealing with a boot failure is to secure your data. If you want to preserve the contents of the startup drive, and you don't already have at least one current backup, you must try to back up now, before you do anything else. It may or may not be possible. If you don't care about the data that has changed since your last backup, you can skip this step.
There are several ways to back up a Mac that is unable to boot. You need an external hard drive to hold the backup data.
a. Boot into the Recovery partition, or from a local Time Machine backup volume (option key at startup.) When the OS X Utilities screen appears, launch Disk Utility and follow the instructions in this support article, under “Instructions for backing up to an external hard disk via Disk Utility.”
b. If you have access to a working Mac, and both it and the non-working Mac have FireWire or Thunderbolt ports, boot the non-working Mac in target disk mode. Use the working Mac to copy the data to another drive. This technique won't work with USB, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, or Bluetooth.
c. If the internal drive of the non-working Mac is user-replaceable, remove it and mount it in an external enclosure or drive dock. Use another Mac to copy the data.
Step 2
Sometimes a boot failure can be resolved by resetting the NVRAM.
Step 3
Press and hold the power button until the power shuts off. Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed to boot, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Use a different keyboard and/or mouse, if those devices are wired. If you can boot now, one of the devices you disconnected, or a combination of them, is causing the problem. Finding out which one is a process of elimination.
If you've booted from an external storage device, make sure that your internal boot volume is selected in the Startup Disk pane of System Preferences.
Step 4
Boot in safe mode. Note: If FileVault is enabled on some models, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Post for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including wireless networking on certain Macs.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
When you boot in safe mode, it's normal to see a dark gray progress bar on a light gray background. If the progress bar gets stuck for more than a few minutes, or if the system shuts down automatically while the progress bar is displayed, your boot volume is corrupt and the drive is probably malfunctioning. In that case, go to Step 5.
If you can boot and log in now, empty the Trash, and then open the Finder Info window on your boot volume ("Macintosh HD," unless you gave it a different name.) Check that you have at least 9 GB of available space, as shown in the window. If you don't, copy as many files as necessary to another volume (not another folder on the same volume) and delete the originals. Deletion isn't complete until you empty the Trash again. Do this until the available space is more than 9 GB. Then reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode.)
If the boot process hangs again, the problem is likely caused by a third-party system modification that you installed. Post for further instructions.
Step 5
Launch Disk Utility in Recovery mode (see Step 1.) Select your startup volume, then run Repair Disk. If any problems are found, repeat until clear. If Disk Utility reports that the volume can't be repaired, the drive has malfunctioned and should be replaced. You might choose to tolerate one such malfunction in the life of the drive. In that case, erase the volume and restore from a backup. If the same thing ever happens again, replace the drive immediately.
This is one of the rare situations in which you should also run Repair Permissions, ignoring the false warnings it may produce. Look for the line "Permissions repair complete" at the end of the output. Then reboot as usual.
Step 6
Reinstall the OS. If your Mac was upgraded from an older version of OS X, you’ll need the Apple ID and password you used to upgrade.
Step 7
Repeat Step 6, but this time erase the boot volume in Disk Utility before installing. The system should automatically reboot into the Setup Assistant. Follow the prompts to transfer your data from a Time Machine or other backup.
Step 8
This step applies only to older Macs (not current models) that have a logic-board ("PRAM") battery. Both desktop and portable Macs used to have such a battery. The logic-board battery is separate from the main battery of a portable. A dead logic-board battery can cause a boot failure. Typically the boot failure will be preceded by loss of the startup disk and system clock settings. See the user manual for replacement instructions. You may have to take the machine to a service provider to have the battery replaced.
Step 9
If you get this far, you're probably dealing with a hardware fault. Make a "Genius" appointment at an Apple Store to have the machine tested. If you can't get to an Apple Store, go to another authorized service provider.

How to create scroller with paging concept for mobile apps?

Hi,
I need a scroller control with Paging concept. When the user is in Landscape view, I want to load set of images as a Photo gallary.
Each time the user swipes, he can go to the next image or the previous image.
Each image is fully fit in the whole page. Means the user can see only 1 image at a time. He needs to swipe left or right to see the previous or next image.
When he double clicks the image, he will be taken to another page.
Can you give your ideas of how to implement this feature?
FYI: I have seen samples of List with Horizontal layout. But it does not suit with my requirement.

Have you checked if there are any firmware updates available for your phone via Nokia Suite or on the phone itself? If there is, please update to the latest version offered. If there is none, then try re-installing the current firmware on your phone. Failing this, try to Restore your phone to factory settings, and if this is still not working, then you will need to take your phone to your local Nokia Care point for them to inspect.

PSE9 Time Stamp

I was happily using PSE8 but 'upgraded' to PSE9. Since then I've been suffering from the following problem.
Somehow it looks like PSE knows that I'm in the UK and assumes that my camera's clock is set to GMT. So now we are in BST it adds one hour to the time stamp on RAW files. Whilst its bad enough that Adobe have assumed that it's their decision to do this and not the users, it doesn't do this to JPEGs. To make matters worse a few weeks ago, before realising I had this problem, I returned from Greece which is two hours ahead of GMT, and with my camera's clock set to BST it has left me totally confused.
I tried re-setting the camera's clock to GMT but then JPEGs are timed one hour before that so two hours wrong!
Is anyone aware if Adobe have a fix available? I know I can manually alter the time stamp but this should not be necessary.
If anyone from Adobe is monitoring this forum can they please assure me that a fix is available or on its way? Also please take on board that this sort of feature should be an option available to the customer not one that's imposed unilaterally by Adobe.

Thank you for your response. I agree with your conclusion. I looked into the changes a little bit more after your mail and found that .jpg files that had not been altered i.e rotated prior importing to PSE 9 did not change. I rotate my .jpg pictures "lossless" in acdsee.
I have used PSE8 with the same procedure, but there everything works fine.
I enclose a few samples, if I can send the raw-files, Canon .cr2, due to size. Views from picture sorting in PSE9/ACDsee/Windows Live Photo Gallary are also enlosed.

Organizer handles the daylight savings time and hence it would make corrections automatically. So if a file is present in the catalog that has date stamp which falls under the day light savings period, then Organizer make the corrections automatically. So the 1 hour gap may be happening because of the same reason.
Though the problem which appears to me is that the same should happen for raw files as well.
It would be good if you could give some more information any set of files X.jpg and its corresponding raw file , say X.nef. Please share the date time stamps of both raw and jpegs for the same images files (Date Time Original and Date Time Digitized).
Also share your timezone information and if you have taken any of those pictures from a different timezone.

This forum is about third party app development. If you have suggestions for features to be added to the OS itself your best bet is to give feedback at Microsoft's dedicated UserVoice site for Windows Phone. It allows users to vote on desired features.

PSE 2.0 v. PSE 6.0

2.0 had a feature where photos could be viewed as thumbnails with file size, resolution, and most importantly picture size (i.e. 4x6, 8x10, 13x19)This seems to be missing in 6.0.

I've been using PSE 2.0 for years and liked the create web photo gallary option so I can show my picutres on my website. Just purchased PSE 7.0 and discovered the option is now gone. It's been on every version until 7.0 Serves me right for assuming it would be on there. Other than buying an older version of PSE, could anyone help me as far as a program that would create a web photo gallery. I'm sure there are many programs out there. Something inexpensive and where you don't need to have a phd to figure it out. Thanks.
