Unable to delete photos and my Gallery is very slow to non-responsive on my Galaxy S III - any suggestions?

Let's explore options to get this issue resolved pronto NanaM.! Resetting the app will not delete your photos and videos. Since you have all your media in the SD card, I recommend considering buying an SD card reader (only $12.99 http://vz.to/1snOdsX and then you can see all the SD contents on your computer via a USB port and the SD card reader. There you can delete or transfer your pictures and videos to your computer much easier and faster.

GS4 photo gallery issues

Minutes after taking a picture 75% of these pictures are split half gray or just blank all together. Videos recorded have issues where they wont play. The SD card is the save location and is less than 10% full. Tried using the phone as the save point and have the same issue.

Strange behavior - my gut feeling is a hardware issue.
Have you tried a 3rd party camera App to rule out the Camera app?

Windows 7 Live Photo Gallery Screensaver

I use windows 7 and the live photo gallery screensaver. Recently I am getting this:
An error is preventing this slide show from playing.
If I change the screen saver to photos it works fine. Both Photos and Windows Live Photo Gallery point to the same picture directory. This likely rules out directory permissions or corruption of the photos that Live Photo Gallery is trying to
display.
How do I fix this? (I use 64 bit windows 7 ultimate)

Photo gallery screensaver

I hope this is an okay spot to post this as I couldn't find a more appropriate category in the forum. In any case, does anyone know (name and/or link would be ideal) of a screensaver that essentially randomly chooses photos out of your iphoto library and builds a collage on your screen? I've seen it in action on a mac but wasn't able to get the name of it. I've looked all over the internet looking for it but with no luck. The photos pop up and kind of do a ken burns thing on the screen - moving around - they all get a while boarder too. Lots of shots fill the screen kind of all moving - really cool. So again, not a one at a time thing, but multiple at the same time and it keeps cycling to bring in new photos.

Photo gallery IE 7 compatability issue

The photo gallery loads the thumbnails but not the images in
Internet Explorer 7. It works fine in Firefox 2/3.

I'm not sure what the issue is. It's not pulling up the image
at all, and I can't get the image to render in any other method. It
worked fine with the old framework.

Issues importing XML photo gallery SWF in Catalyst

Hey everyone,
I'm creating a mini-site using Catalyst, and am trying to include a photo gallery on one of the pages. Problem is, the photo gallery uses XML, and grabs the photos from a folder. The photo gallery works great on its own, but when I import the gallery SWF into Catalyst and run it, nothing shows up. I've found a few posts saying to move the XML and other corresponding files into the "/Library/Application Support/ Adobe/Flash Catalyst/workspace/Project/bin-debug" folder, and tried it with no luck. I even tried publishing the project (both locally and to the web), and then adding the XML and photo folder in, but still didn't have any luck getting it to work. Has anyone had any similar issues/ have an idea of how to fix it?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Photo Gallery problem issue with explorer browser

Hi there,
I made a personal website with a photo gallery from iweb and everything run cool in a Mac system but when I visualize my photogallery from my website in an Explorer Browser from windows, my pictures doesn´t appear, we cannot see anything.
Is anything to do to fix this problem?

Photo Gallery thumbnails in business catalyst render in different sizes in safari and chrome but are fine in firefox. What is the issue with Safari? I have tried the different algorithm options such as fill_proportional etc and firefox is the only browser that displays correctly. I thought safari was the most standards compatible browser - what's the problem here?

If you have seperate XML file but with the same basic structure then you can change the XML a Spry dataset refers to and regenerate the spry region without reloading the full page.
So on my photo gallery page I can change the album the photos are shown from via the seturl sprydata function as below. dsPhotos being my Spry dataset that points to the relevant XML dataset with my image references and captions etc. My XML is actually dynamically generated from Picasa RSS feeds (and RSS feeds are XML) but the principle will be the same with your static XML.
First I add an event listener for when someone clicks on an album (the li tag within my div with the id "albums" holds a photo and title for each album.)

In your case showAlbum would switch between Frank.xml or Wolfie.xml depending on how you decide to name your xml datasets.

Data not dynamically updating in photo gallery

The primary issue is when one thumbs through the images, the
"photoID" does not update. It remains at the first "photoID" that
is encountered, and in this case, it is 729. The "title",
"description" and so forth remain locked to the first entry as
well, yet the photograph updates "@path".
I've been working at this for almost two days and have tried
almost every possible combination. I've copied over the older
framework files from my other site (which has this working
successfully), modified it to work in this instance, and it fails
here. The XML output is correct.

Problem loading images in adobe bridge html photo gallery

Can someone please, please help me!? I can not figure out why the images will not load in my adobe bridge html photo gallery cs5. I am not getting any error messages in Firefox and just the x in internet explorer.

I created the gallery as a html file for compatibality reasons due to accesbility issues with flash, and followed the general insturctions. The gallery folder is called wetlandsgallery and it is loading everything style-wise except the images themselves.
I then made the gallery within an iframe so it would be more similar to the other pages on the site and contain the menu bar - but no change on the lack of images!
Having looked around online I think it might be something to do with the bin folder?? Does this have some secutity somewhere thats protecting the images? I am also unsure if I filled in the FTP info correctly when creating the site as I was getting the message "could not connect to FTP server" so I had to copy over the file from my hard drive to the server provider files. All the tutortials say to load your gallery and no mention of what to do when it won't connect to FTP server.
If you could also tell me how to edit the image sizes that would be a great help too, as any size changes I make to either the bin/large or bin/thumnail images makes no difference in what appears in the preview?
Help would be very greatfully appreciated as I am pulling my hair out trying to figure it out with no sucess and a possible bald patch!

1. Is it really necessary to comment out this part in your source code?

Using your source code without these things I could see some of your images.
2. Looking to your website with my IE8 into image 7 (e.g.) I saw this:
what means there is a reference to a html file, not to an image. ???
3. Here it becomes interesting (completely contrary to my point 2.), looking for your path:

I can see this image in my IE8 (some people in front of a "wetland". But still I've to assume (as Murray already did too), that there is something wrong with your upload and the pathes.
4. Allow me to make one brief point, we talked about here on several occasions: please don't use spaces in image, folders or filenames. I'll quote Murray: In general, URL encoding spaces does not lead to problems. ... Whatever the details are, though, using spaces in filenames or paths is a bad practice which WILL lead to problems.
5. What concerns the image sizes, maybe later (I didn't understand your question correctly I fear). There is still my language barrier, I'm sorry.

I'd recommend linking your flex app to a PHP file, it'll automatically handle all the photos for you without you having to embed them all. Keeps the app size small and lets you add more pictures without having to alter any code. Here's the example code of a very simply image gallery that i'd build on if i was making a photogallery.

I can't get my iphone 5s to transfer pictures to my computer, windows xp, i keep getting a no pictures found result on everything I have tried. Windows Live Photo Gallery, Scanner and Camera Wizard, and just by opening up my Computer. Advice anyone?

I can't open up anything for my iPhone 5s but my wife's regular iPhone 5 works fine. Nothing shows up when I open up My Computer and double click the Apple iPhone icon. My iPhone keeps asking if I trust this computer. I keep clicking trust. I have no updates pending on my iPhone. I have tried the Scanner and Camera Wizard and also Windows Live Photo Gallery. Can anyone help me with this issue? Is this happening to anyone else? Thanks in advance.

Do you have the latest version of iTunes on the computer? v11.1.4. If you are having issues with Camera and Scanner wizard, it is possible the USB driver for the phone is not fully loaded. You might try resetting the phone and then trying again with the photos.
Also, Microsoft has announced that on April 8, 2014 it will cease all support for XP, I would seriously be looking for a new device soon. This lack of support will cause a myriad of issues in the near future with newer products.
If the reset does not work, you can look at removing and resinstalling iTunes and then plugging the phone back in. This should download the latest drivers. See this support document and follow the instructions exactly for removing and reinstalling iTunes. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1925

Filmstrip photo gallery scrolling effect, need help...

If you visit

and goto the photo gallery you'll notice that the photo gallery
works well except that the filmstrips doesn't scroll left or right.
Now, I built this one based off of a Kirupa tutorial, and when the
photo gallery is in a sepereate .swf it works great. But as soon as
I copy the frames to my site that particular effect, and only that,
stops working. Can anyone help me? Thanks!

Thanks aniebel, but I think that'll be a last resort for me
considering I'm nearly done with this one, I just need help fixing

Photo Gallery start up problem

I have a glitch and it's probably me … but here's what
I know.
About Don Booth's Photo Gallery:
It's great. Everything is good - integrated with my CSS -
looks nice.
When the page loads all is well except the first image in the
Gallery does not display in <div id="mainImageOutline"... (and
the first thumbnail is not highlighted). While I'm building and
testing this is OK. Just click a thumbnail and everything works
well.
In the demo, the Gallery is operational by default and starts
up with the first thumbnail and Spry:detail produces the
corresponding image (automatically). That's what I want.
About my code:
Except for a couple of "page layout" divs that I have,
consistent with my own site-wide style sheet conventions, such as
<div id="wrapper"> and <div id="maincontent"> I have:
1. Copied Don Booth's xhtml code directly from the
Spry_1_1_022408 download sample.
2. Copied Don Booth's css code directly from the same
download sample.
3. Copied Don Booth's gallery.js directly (without change as
far as I know).
The only significant change (apart from CSS and xhtml
structure) in my work is - I added an additional Spry:detail div to
present additional datapoints from xml. This is not relevant to my
question because the issue that concerns me is consistent if I
remove this second detail div. The start-up problem remains.

I imagine the problem is in gallery.js. You should know that
javascript is a bit like dungeons and dragons to me.

I imagine I'm looking at something useful but I don't know
what to do with it, or if it is the right code to focus on. I
respect the relationship with level 4 support engineers, but after
trying to solve my own issue for a few weeks I decided it was time
to submit my question. How do I get Photo Gallery to start up like
the demo?
Additional information:
There is also a series of error reports that show when the
Gallery is playing (for example):
Warning: Expected end of value for property but found
'-0.0775'. Error in parsing value for property 'opacity'.
Declaration dropped.

I don't think it is related, but that's what I know.
I tried to copy my xhtml (below) but it caused this message
to exceed allowed size. But I don't see that xhtml is the problem.

Sounds like you need to turn your Slideshow into a Track, and then set the Track to display as 16:9 Letterbox; but first, you'll also need to encode your slides as wide Mpeg 2 clips (encode set to 16:9), too; to whatever duration you have them set in the Slideshow, currently (if they're not already wide encoded clips).
It would be good to stick some same duration audible or silent same format and bit rate audio underneath each of the new movie slides, to present players a nicely packed VOB.
