Photo Gallery Tips Please

Hi
I just wanted to know if you could recommend me a nice method
to display .jpg images on a website. I know that DW offers
templates but I was wondering if there is a software package that
you would recommend to me that is both easy to use and looks neat
and tidy -
I am looking to display images from a digital camera.

Basic photo gallery

hmmm... i am having a silly problem trying to create a basic
photo gallery using actionscript only. everything is working quite
fine, except the part when i am trying to use the movie clips as
buttons to load their respective images in the empty movie clip.
whatever movie i click will load the last image in the array, which
is perfectly logical since i am telling it to load the image in the
last position in the array because it's associated with the
variable in the for conditional. the issue is that i'm not being
able to figure out a solution to this problem.
any help is greatly appreciated.
p.s: if anyone knows of a good xml-driven photo gallery
tutorial, please let me know. thanks.

I am facing a strange problem on new iphone 5 that I bought last week. The maps app and the places in photo gallery shows the pin and my location, however there is no information of locations. Tried to close the apps, phone restart, reset etc. Please help

Then no information exists. Use the Report a Problem button within the app to report it.

Sounds like you synced the photos instead of importing the photos.
In iTunes with your device plugged in, go to the photos tab and uncheck the photos that were synced over, then sync again. This should take the photos from your coputer off the devices leaving just the camera roll.
If you have a Windows computer, go to mycomputer and right click on your device and select import pictures and video. If its a Mac computer, plug in your device and go to iphoto and select import all.

Web Photo Gallery - Photoshop CS 8.0 (WinXP) - Please help!!!

I'm using Photoshop CS 8.0 on WinXP, but when I load images for Web Photo Gallery, it shows the error as: "This is an error disbling controls for missing tokens. Some files or folders for selected style might be missing."
I don't know what happens and please show me how to fix it. I need here very urgent for my works.

Thanks for answering. I need to create a Web Photo Gallery so I can upload thumbnails and full-size pictures to my website and have viewers be able to download the full-sized pictures. The Flash version does not permit downloading and requires that you use one of the provided templates. It appears that Photoshop Elements 8 is a downgrade from Photoshop Elements 2.0 in this respect. Is there any way to accomplish what I want to do with Photoshop Elements 8.0?
By the way, I really like your video tutorial on the Adobe website.

1. i do not see a trashcan iconwhen i open the photos.
2. the photos are NOT in the 'camera roll' they are in a folder called 'iPad photos' (which is in the 'albums' section of the iPad)
3. i have re-set the iPad numerous times in order to try and resolve this. each time it is the same - no trashcan.
4. i have no method of 'moving' the photos to another folder - only the option to 'add to' a 'new folder'. since thsi won't delete the original photos, there is little point in trying this.
5. i'm guessing your next suggestion will be to completely back up and re-set my iPad? is that really what i should be doing here? surely... surely.... please, this should be a simple - select>trashcan>delete process and not something i have to spend half my working day trying to resolve! seriously, seriosly, unimpressed with Apple over this issue. it's about time that Apple gave the power back to the user on devices like these. i can understand now why people jailbreak their iPads... there rant over - but please consider my feelings over this issue.

You have to tell PSE to explicitly write the tags back into the industry-standard metadata fields, using the File > Write Keyword Tags command. Beware that it is buggy -- if you find your tags not getting written correctly, you can use the utility psedbtool:

Try:

Filename in Photo Gallery

Since updating my iPad2 to iOS 8, the filenames have vanished from the photo gallery. I am a designer and I used to take the filename of photos as reference for my clients. I have more than 8000 pictures in the gallery. Please HELP

I Can't ever recall seeing file names in the default Photos app. Perhaps you were using iphoto on your iPad which is no longer supported? Check the App Store for other photo handling apps To find one that shows the file names. I use Photo Manager Pro to show photos to my clients. It does a better job of that than the Photos app. you can set the preferences there to display the file name.

Photo gallery with Thumbnail View in Flex 3

Hello everyone
I very urgently need an answer to a very simple qeuestoon. I have been trying really hard since days to get a solution to this simple problem but in vain.
I am building an application in Flex 3. I simply want to create a photo gallery with a thumbnail where when the user clicks on a thumbnail, the image is shown in the canvas/tab navigator box next to it. The images are stored in a local folder (in src) are ARE NOT on available on any web link.
The Vbox with the thumb image and the .xml file has been created. But when I click on the thumbnail, the full image cannot be seen in the application. I dont know if this is a problem with data binding or what.
Please help!!!

Check the folder structure
Flash is not able to get some file thats why the IO Error.
trace the url path just before u load the file and u will be abel to find whether that file is in specified folder or not.

Photo gallery in DW

Ok, so I have my page layout almost completed in DW. Id like
to add a photo gallery to my page, but not the kind DW
automatically creates. Id like the gallery to stay within my page
layout, and have a few rows of thumbnails, and when a thumbnail is
clicked on, the larger image appears within my page layout, not a
blank new window. Is this possible in DW?
Im very much new to DW and FW, so any help is appreciated.
Maybe I need another application to create the photo gallery
and then insert into my page design?

I'm making photo gallery where photos will be loaded from external xml file but i have problem. I was sesrching for that for a long time before i created this tread. There is many tutorials and exaple files for page flip or page turn but i cant find good one. Many of them was coded in as1 or as2 other using php and java script so its difficult to understant. I just want one simple solution for that. It cant be so hard to create something like that. Could you help me to find some good and simple tutorial in as3?

Photo Gallery in Dreamweaver using Fireworks

How do I add images to a photo gallery that I created in
Dreamweaver using Fireworks? I created a photo gallery and I
changed my background color and other settings, but I need to find
any easier way to add images without messing up my settings. Each
time I add a photo, I don't want to have to change 40+ web pages.
Can someone please help? If there is an easier program to use, then
I will change programs.

Sorry in advance if the following comment is missing the
point of your question.
Ans: You need to export (>File > Export) the image that
you have manipulated in Fireworks to an images folder in your
dreamweaver website. You will be prompted for an optimum file
output (JPEG, GIF etc) during this process. Then close Fireworks
and open DW. Then place your curser at the point in the webpage
where you want to insert the image and then select Menu > Insert
> Image. Browse to the image that you have created in Fireworks
and press enter. Job done! Fireworks is a fantastic s/w application
... and there's no need to look elsewhere.

Ios8.3 cant share photo to wechat in photo gallery.

I Just upgrade my iphone 6 plus to ios 8.3, but having problem with the photo gallery sharing.after i taking photo i wan to share to wechat from gallery. It turn back to gallery.now i only can share photo bu open the wechat apps and share in side the apps.did u guy got same problem with me?and what can i do to fix it??

I have this problem as well. Didn't notice it earlier, but I think it was the 8.3 update. Can't share anything to WeChat (safari, photos, etc.)
