Photo Info option not printing clearly

Before the recent final upgrade I was able to print out Photo Info at the bottom of my 4x6 prints without a problem.  Now when I print it out on my Mac and Epson Artisian 1430 the printer is there but it's not clear.  It's like a partial print of each letter.
Is there something wrong with the new version or is there something I need to check?
Thanks,
George

It is available in single image/contact sheet.
That means single image /different images
But indeed NOT in Custom Package

  • Can't find photo info option for print custom package

Am I being very stupid as the "photo info" option in "Page" appears for any of my user templates, but not when I create a new custom package. Just ends at "cut guidlines". I'm trying to print 2 landscape and 1 portrait on the same sheet with their captions.
    Thanks for any advice

  • Font for photo info does not work on this MAC

We are running a new MAC (OS 10.6.2, 2.66 GHz Quad) with Lightroom 2.6.  When I try to add photo data to a contact print, I see a series of boxes with AAAs.  I got the same result with the Identy Plate when I changed the font.  I changed to another font and it was fine.  This leads me to believe the default font for photo info is not supported on this machine.  We really need to use the photo info feature.  Is there a way to either
    1.  Change the font to one that is supported on this machine
    2.  Add the default font to this machine

Considering the hundreds of thousands of Windows apps available, I doubt you're going to find such a list.
Is there a comprehensive list posted somewhere that show which PC software has compatibity issues?
Well since Windows software does not run on Mac OS, every application is going to have compatibility issues.
You'll either have to buy the Mac version (if available) of the software you want to use, or install Windows on the Mac.

  • HP LaserJet M1530. Working from OpenOffice, will not print envelope. Sends info, does not print.

Basically that. The info is sent to the printer, it shows up in queue, but the printer will not print. Doesn't even try.

The likely cause is the black ink is not printing at all.  When printing graphics (like the Windows Test Page) black is made from mixing the color ink.  I would suggest printing an internal diagnostic test page as shown in this page.  Does the black block print?  If not then clean the printheads as described here.

  • Images not printing clear

Hello, I'm sure this topic has come up before, but I did a search and can't find any relative articles; so sorry if I'm bringing up "old news."
I'm having difficulty in getting images to print clearly with Pages. I'm writing a book on musical topics and am using Finale 2007 to create musical examples. I've tried saving them as gif, tiff, png, pict, etc. The results are always the same; when I place them on my pages document they look a little blurry, and when I print them they look even worse. If I open them in Preview they look fine, at all different zoom levels, so I know the images themselves are not necessarily the problem.
Back in grad school (about 10 years ago) I had the exact same problem with Word; I somehow solved it, but I can't remember how!
Any advice on how I can get my musical images to look and print clean and crisp will be greatly appreciated!
    Thanks in adavance!

    Hi @Anna44,
Does the document look as you expect it to when you look at the print preview? Does the print preview and the actual print appear the same or different?
This might be a formatting issue with Word, not with the printer. What happens if you print a document with images you are not posting in from Google?

  • HP Web Services enabled, but info sheet not printing

    Hi all
Just installed my new LaserJet Pro MFP M128fw and networked it with a static IP to suit my network.
Printer is accessible to ALL computers on the network.
Can print, scan, copy and fax without ANY problem from any computer. Can ALSO print from my networked mobile phones.
ALL computers, mobiles and my new HP printer are configured with static IPs. ALL have DNS of 8.8.8.8 and default gateways installed.
NO problem accessing the net from any one of the computers or mobiles.
The printer is  web service enabled and I am able to access the printer's web page from my computer wirelessly AT WILL.
I can enable web services (successful enabling from both computer OR Printer) WITHOUT any problems. Able to view the email address sent by HP's ePrint service BOTH on the computer AND on the printer.
    Problem:
Then comes the problem - I am unable to print the Information Sheet which contains the code to register my printer on the HP ePrint Website. Have tried entering the printer email ID (characters before the @) at the printer registration prompt, but the website says that it is invalid, because apparently, the Information Sheet print out on MY printer is required, to complete the registration of my printer for the HP ePrint services.
Have tried removing web services from the printer and restarting and re-enabling. Have tried shutting down my router and restarting. Have tried at various times over the past 48 hours just in case it was an HP website overload. When I try to print the information sheet directly from my printer, it goes into perpetual "Connecting..." until it just goes off. NOTHING WORKS!!! NO ERROR MESSAGES!!! JUST NOT PRINTING THE INFORMATION SHEET.
Am now beginning to feel that perhaps the EPrint service is not available for India, but can't seem to locate that information on the HP website. If so, would DEFINITELY look at it as a lacuna / default in terms of clarity and consumer service, as this was one of the principal reasons for my purchase of THIS particular model. Believe me, it wasn't cheap.

    Hi Gappu,
    Thank you for the updates.
I can definitely understand your reluctance to change how your network is setup. If you are like me you’d get started doing it and someone would interrupt enough that you don’t remember where you were when you were interrupted and something simple but important gets missed.
I have included a link by @VisionAiry titled Check the Anti-Virus for Blocked Ports and Timed Scans and it is regarding the ports that are used. I’m wondering if one of the ports might not be configured correctly for ePrint.
Please let me know how it goes.

  • Can find photo tray option when printing

I bought a HP Photosmart 6521 today, part of the 652x family.  I set it up via USB cable to my old Mac which is running 10.7 Leopard.  The printer software automatically downloaded and the printer set up like a dream.  Set-up wifi link to my Wifi network.  Could print from my new toptop running OSX10.9 no problem.  Problem is I can find a print option on the laptop computer that alows me to select the phototray.  I looked at both Mac and HP support forums, I downloaded and installed the software for the HP Photosmart 6520 ,no problems with installation.  Still can't see an option on my computer for printing from the phototray.  Any ideas is this likely to be an HP issue or a Mac issue.

    kiwig,
Excellent -- I thought answer was in the Print Options, although I would not have been able to "get there from here" not having access to Mac software.  Smiling.
I am pleased to hear you figured out the answer -- and that you Posted the solution!

  • New & Improved 4x6 Premium Plus photo paper does not print as good as older paper

I am using an HP Photosmart 8250 printer.  I print about 500 to 700 photos per year on the 4x6 Premium Plus photo paper.  When my new order of paper came yesterday I noticed it said new & Improved on the box.  Buy I do not get the same quality of print on the new paper as I did on the old.  The blacks have a dark olive look to it and the colors are not as rich as I got with the old paper.  To make sure my printer was OK I choice a good picture and printed it on both the older paper and the new.  The blacks are black and the colors are rich on the old paper.  The black on the new paper had that olive look and colors were not as nice.  I basically threw all my new prints in the trash.  What has happen to this good paper?  I don't want to have to buy a different printer at the moment, but cannot print my photos on this new paper either.  Help?

    Hi Sabrams49,
Certain inks work better with certain types of paper. There is nothing wrong with your supplies but unfortunately the paper you are using will always exhibit this problem when used in conjuction with these supplies.
The Premium Plus Photo Paper works better with much older printing systems than the one you own. HP Advanced Paper is the recommended paper for your photosmart and should not exhibit any smudging problems like the oen you have described.
This website can be useful if you want to find out information on what paper to use for best results with any given printer or any other info about the paper itself.

  • New ink cartridges in Photosmart C5180 but still not printing clearly. How do I clean the heads?

I changed all 5 ink cartridges on my HP C5180 Photosmart All-in-One printer, but the print is still as if I'm out of black ink.  How do I clean the heads and realign them?

    steelpony5555 wrote:
When your printer stops printing one or 2 of the colors it means your print head is clogged. Tech support will have you remove the print head and clean the copper contacts on the bottom, but that is not enough. Hold the head in a rag and shake it, lots of ink will come out of the inside. I saw one case where the guy held his print head under hot water till it ran clear. Not sure of the long term effects on the head if you do that. Mine has clogged twice now and it has been ink inside the head.
I would absolutely suggest not shaking the printhead.  Ink is required in the printhead, and if air gets into the printhead it can cause printhead failure.  See this page for an ongoing discussion.
For the C5180 this is moot, since the printhead cannot be removed to shake it in the C5180 with its permanant printhead.  I would suggest three levels of printhead cleaning as described in Step 3 of this page for the c5180.

  • Shared photo stream option not shown in settings

i downloaded ios 6 in around the first hour that it was launched and i cannot find the menu that can turn on shared photo streams. i have a 4th gen ipod touch. i looked in the settings under the photos and camera menu as well as the share button on a picture in my camera roll, and it is not there.

I just figured the solution out! It worked for me..
The iCloud terms of use has changed, so this option is disappeared. You have to agree with the new terms.
So delete the icloud from your iDevice and, add it again.
    Hope it work 4 u..

  • Mavericks 10.9.3 / epson stylus photo px730wd: can not print cd

Hello, I have a problem with my inc printer: I can no longer print CD's!
The other thing I noticed is, that the "head cleaning tools" are no longer available.
I installed the "Epson Printer Drivers v2.17 for OS X" package but I did not see a change. The driver still says it is 2.0...
I hope you have an idea... and if it would be a hint, which CD printer IS working with machericks 10.9.3.
    Thanks in advancs!

I don't know if this helps, but I've always had problems printing wireless with my Epson Photo Printer 580. I am now able to print CDs wireless by going to Epson's North America site and downloading the EPson Print CD v2.0 as well as as the common updater.

  • Icloud Photo Stream Options not working anymore

This is what I get instead of the options for upload and download folder

    EternalWonderer wrote:
When I take a picture it shows up in Camera Roll and Photo Stream. If I check on my laptop the picture has also been downloaded to the Photo Stream folder on there.
And that is why I told you that there is no problem with the phone, but you are more then welcome to pursue that theory.
But there is another folder on the laptop called "Uploads" (which the iCloud Control Panel program installed) which allows me to put pictures in to and they get sent back to my iPhone to appear in it's Photo Stream. This was working fine on my iPhone 4 earlier in the week, but since I have started using my iPhone 5, it won't send the pictures for some reason.
While any device is getting information from icloud it has to keep authenticated connection through the whole time. That is the reason I asked you to check your security on your computer, cause that connection is taking longer to upload then download. As with any advice, I may very well be wrong and you absolutely do not have to listen to my suggestions.
You associating that problem with changes of the phone, what you do not think of is the fact that your security changes every day. Updates on your antivirus, corporate firewalls.

  • Why do the photos in the Photo iWeb template NOT print??

The subject says it all! I created a page in the photo page and wanted to print off the front page. I got text but none of the photos!
They don't show in print to pdf, or print to preview either.
Any thoughts? Or just one more glitch in the iWeb program?
    Thanks.

btw, this is how i got to know about the "resetting printer queue" - OFFICIAL EPSON ANSWER:
    EPSON Deutschland

  • It will not print clearly from my bank a/c. Internet explorer does

I can see my details from the site. I have checked with canon, and the Commonwealth Bank (AU) and no problems from their end. It prints garbage. This is since I upgraded. I thought I would try IE and I had no problems

There is a known bug involving printing in beta 12 that has been fixed in the Firefox 4 release candidate which is due out soon.
