Photo numbering in the IOS7
Hello, i have the memory of my iphone 5 full. If I cancel all the foto from my iphone, the photo numbering resume from the last foto or will be IMG_0001? thank you

Very odd, and notice as Matt said it is not in all, but certainly quite a few.
As an example, I checked this FAQ note http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/821739 that is referenced in the one above, and the numbering is right, but the formatting is off.
I will follow up on this to see if it is a known issue.
You mentioned that you can't save in PDF? Can you see a PDF version button at the top of the note? That should enable you to view and save in PDF.

adobe starter edition has photo numbers by the picture such as DSCO0283.JPG , where can I find that number on the pictures in PHOTOSHOP ELEMENTS 12--reason being that photoshop elements will not convert my catalog to version 12. If i had that number I could manually rebuild my collections into the photoshop elements 12, but all that i see in photoshop elements is dates and i have multiple pictures from the same dates. HELP! error messages--- had to give up trying to convert---I copied all our pictures to our windows 7 laptop and I installed adobe photoshop elements 12 (my bought program)
I wanted to try to convert there first. also I copied our catalog to this computer also. Everything was working fine I could see the collections just as they where on the XP computer.
then I tried to convert on the laptop. I believe the error said something about corrupt file, so I gave up that day. Next day I tried to open ADOBE STARTER EDITION 3.2 and it wanted an unlock code, no such code exists. and my copy of Elements 12 turned into a trial version which has expired. So I am a little hesitant to try to convert on the XP computer and mess up the existing catalog,
unless there is a fool proof way. I have tried manually making collections/ albums on Windows 8.1 and PHOTOSHOP ELEMENTS 12 and coping pictures into the new albums. sloooow!!
I probably have about 4500 pictures and 150 collections/ albums to go. So any suggestions would be appreciated. -
I have had photo problems since the ios7 update. everything was backed up to my icloud. went into store tech backed up but now when i go to icloud i can't find pictures or videos. 1300 pics and some video's . i am devasted.

Firmware update resets photo numbers... AGAIN
APPLE has to get a grip... they are losing the skills to pay attention to details!!!
The firmware update has reset the photo numbers on the iphone4 to 0001 again!!!!!
What is wrong with these people?????????? This is really basic stuff and irritating.
Does anyone know of a workaround other than renaming every photo as I import it?

how do i retrieve all my info, photos, numbers, notes that were on my phone prior to my plugging it into my computer to update it?...it started to sync with itunes and when it was finished. everything from 8/2011 to current was gone. Please help!

Go to Settings>General>Reset and tap Erase All Content and Settings. This will erase your phone. Then you will go through the setup screens again as you did when your phone is new, and when given the option, select Restore from iCloud Backup. -
Photo Albums in the Media menu for Numbers is a total mess and not usable.
"Media" photo albums are now unusable in Numbers and Pages. I have 30,000 photos spanning 5 years and Numbers has created an album for every day that I have taken a photo. This is all mixed up with my own albums that I have created. How can I get rid of the "album for every day" that the app has created. Note this is inside Pages and Numbers, not in the Photos App. My Photos App shows the albums correctly.

The issues you are experiencing ARE because of Lion - either its a corrupt install or its software conflict with something/s else on your system that is not compatible with Lion. This is evident by the fact that your system runs fine under Snow but not under Lion.

If after having done all this the problems remain, then post back and I or someone else will take you through the next steps.

Click the "Book Actions" cogwheel and select "Page Numbers " -> "Off"

Since I have downloaded the iOS7 software my photos no ,longer automatically sync and upload to my lap top. How can I make this happen again?

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. If your photos are not appearing on your computer from your iOS device anymore through Photo Stream, I'd first verify that the Photo Stream service is still enabled on your iOS device:

If it is, you may also want to try switching it off and back on again.
Likewise, I would also try this with your computer's Photo Stream settings.

On the iOS7 photos do not fit the screen, and I can not move or scale or resize.. Is there something I am missig?

Im traveling abroad and while I have refused the IOS7 upgrade my iPad is now lock. The display only reflecting iTunes and the USB cable images. Now I can not access my photos and or my email. Anyway I can reset without connecting to my computer?

No. Not without access to a computer running iTunes. You do want to use your own computer so that you can restore from your backup and sync your own content back from iTunes. -
when using e mail from my i photos on the mac and attach a photo and receiving on the i pad the photo appears the same as the other ones i send but the jpg file numbers are the same
I have one album named "iPad". I don't recall how it got there, where it is there by default or if I created it. Nothing in this album shows a trash can in either full or thumbnail view - I can only edit or share or add to.
In full view mode, when I click on "edit" the upper left shows "cancel". The other greyed out options next to "cancel" are "undo" and "revert to original". The bottom shows the usual photo editing tools, but no "edit". Most of the other pictures show the trash can, which is located on the bottom right corner in camera roll in full view mode. In thumbnail mode when I click "select" on the upper right corner and choose a photo the trash can appears on the upper left corner". This all seems normal. However, the "iPad" album behaves different. -
Is anyone else having issues with scaling down photos to fit the screen for home and lock screens with ios7?? Installed ios7 this morning. Tried to use one of my photos from camera roll as background for lock screen and I can't scale the photo to fit the screen. Never had a problem before and now when I pinch the photo to get it to the right size of the screen, it won't stay that way. The photo is enlarged way beyond the screen size so it doesn't look right. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Here are the steps that I would recommend going through when experiencing this issue.
Resolution
If a single application is not responding or stops responding when it opens, you can force it to close.
If the device is unresponsive or if certain controls aren't working as expected, restart your device.
If the device remains unresponsive or does not turn on (or power on), reset your device.
If the above steps do not resolve the issue, contact Apple.

Missing the iOS7 "Instant" Photo Filter in iOS 8! Alternatives?

unfortunately Apple removed in iOS 8 the very loved "Instant" Photo Filter in the Apple Camera App.
a) Does somebody know a way to get it back? HELLO APPLE CAN YOU PLEASE CHANGE THAT AGAIN!!??
b) I'm not sure, in the iOS 7 Days, a had a third Party App, with just a copy from Apple's Filters.. But i have not installed this app anymore, and didn't know the name.. I think maybe these Effects are "Core Image" from Apple, so maybe hidden in the system - grabable for any Developer?
Of course, a have a tonne of 3rd Party "Photo Filter Apps".. but i didn't found exactly the Apple Instant Filter
Does anybody known an app with the EXACT "Instant" Filter??

I'd like to know how to do this too. I regularly visit the same place more than once, so being able to see all photos for that location - regardless of when they were taken - was quite handy. A great example is visiting family in Spain. I can't find any way of seeing all the photos from Spain since they are scattered across numerous collections and moments.
I do like the new photos app on the whole and I can see it being a great improvement for those not using iPhoto to manage their photos, but losing the "Places" option is a shame. -
Help, how do I get iPad Photos to sort the way I want?
I'm at wits end!
After a week of constant sync/re-sync/re-name-stripping out all EXIF data, I'm still at the mercy of some random sort order for some of my photos.
I have read: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4221 - which seems to indicate that it reads the EXIF data first. I have stripped all EXIF data from all my photos in hopes that it will resort to alphabetical order of the file-names. But it doesn't seem to do so - it seems to still rely on last modified date of the file itself. Short of copying individually hundreds of photos over in the order that I want - I don't know what to do. Additionally, through trial and error, it seems that it doesn't recognize differences in timestamp in the seconds, only minutes - ARGH!! Is anyone else having such a hard time to get the iPad to sort the photos by filename in an order that I specify?
I am not on Mac and cannot use iPhoto to sort, so I am on the PC side and order my photos using ACDSee and batch rename them so that they are alphabetically correct.
Please, its essential that they are grouped in my order, but I can't for the last week coax my iPad to display in alphabetical filename order (it seems simple enough?!) I'm so frustrated!!
Please help.I do not understand what you mean by a problem with downsizing large image, the images I have dragged over are exactly the same size as on my home computer, I can see it may cause the IPad problems if you are trying to transfer 50 mb tiff files or something similar, it really is not designed for that type of image.
My workflow is as follows, I work up my raw files and save a copy as a tiff for printed output, for web or iPad use I make an approx 2 Mb jpeg file.
I make a folder with an appropriate title, insert the required images, the images are sorted either by the original camera file numbering or if I want items in a particular order I will start a number 1 and continue, Airsharing will respect your ordering sequence, so number 1 will always be number 1.
As a viewer Air Sharing in my opinion is better than the photo app because it leaves your images in the order you have set, to view an image you open the folder click on number 1 or whatever is your 1st image, that
opens full screen, you have the choice of moving through the folder singly by clicking the arrow head at the bottom right/left of the screen or a slide show by clicking the centre arrow head, you set the time on screen etc.
If you put the same selection of images on the iPad via the Photo app it would number your images in a way you have little control over and will even optimise your image even if you do not want it to !
The Airsharing library is seperate from the photo library, you can move images to the photo library but why would you want to do that ? All your image sorting is done on your computer prior to the transfer, surely you do not want an app making decisions on you behalf ?
To me it is a perfect portfolio app because I make all the decisions about file size, sequence of images how I want to display them, singly or as a slideshow I am in control not Apple.
