Photo Places not showing up in the Photos App???

i have a 3gs and i updated it yesterday. i saw that my friend had albums and places on the bottom of the photo app, however i didnt. can someone tell my why this is?

Why some photos do not show up in the widgets after final export?

Why do I have a problem with the FeatureD News Widget not showing all my photos? I have tried redoing it many times over in different formats and all but one photo never shows up in the final export. Please I need help to finish up the website.

If I understand this correctly, you are reporting that you have images in your Featured News' target frames and some of those photos do not show up in the published site.
If so, I would like you to confirm if the widget works fine in Preview within Muse? Are the images missing in all browsers, even after clearing the browser cache? Can you provide a link to a published site? If required I may also request your source Muse file to investigate further.

My contacts are not showing up on the PC app or the web interface. Message+ works fine on my Note 4 though. My contacts are saved in my Google account.
I've tried several things but message+ acts like there are no contacts in the app yet there are names and pictures in my conversations. Can anyone help me?

Let's make sure that we get you up and running with no issues. I want to make sure that we are on the same page. Are your contacts actually listed in the address book on your phone? Are you using Verizon Messages? Or the third party Messages from the Play Store? Please keep us posted.

It sounds like you may use a POP account for your email. With a POP account, email applications like Mail and Outlook can remove emails from the server, so when another device tries to check the server for new emails, it doesn't see any.
You may need to adjust settings in Outlook so that the emails are not removed from the server when downloaded. I found an article with more information:
When using a POP email account with multiple devices, email messages may only appear on the first device that receives them. This occurs when an email client is configured to automatically remove email from the server once an email client has received it. You can configure your email client (or clients) either to keep a copy of the email on the server, remove it after a certain number of days have passed, or keep it until you move it from your Inbox.

Some Photo Pages not showing no matter the browser

I'm using iWeb '08 and have 2 separate sites. I noticed last night that, only on one of the sites, the photo pages are not showing the photos. Yet, on the other site, the photo pages are fine. It's really weird.
Anybody have any thoughts?
BTW, I tried to view them in both Safari and FF.

Are those 3 pages constructed like the other with photos placed on the page rather than a photos page with a slideshow? Those three pages don't show the photos being uploaded. They are not listed as missing, just not included on the page (go to Window->Activity menu option). In the sites that do display correctly the photos are listed as shapeimage_3.png or something like that.
You might try republishing the entire site to see if that will jump start those three pages.

My edits in LR 5.4 are not showing up on the photos in the parent folder?

When I open my photos directly from the parent folder on my computer the edits/corrections I made in LR are not showing up, the photos are the original imports? The photos in the parent folder are renamed as they were in LR. I'm almost positive the photos in the parent folder showed the edits and corrections prior to LR 5.4. Does anyone have suggestions?

That's the way Lightroom works. You will not see the edits you made in Lightroom when viewing your photos via your operating system.
To see your edits, you need to browse your photos in Lightroom, or if you want to see your edits outside of Lightroom, you must use File->Export in Lightroom to create an exported version of your photo, which will show your edits outside of Lightroom.

Photos are not showing up in the edit menu

When I hit the edit button the photos all show up on the top of the screen but in the box they are not there to edit each individual photo. Please help, I need to edit my photos!

There are several possible causes for the Black Screen issue
1. Permissions in the Library: Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Include the option to check and repair permissions.
2. Minor Database corruption: Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild.
3. A Damaged Photo: Select one of the affected photos in the iPhoto Window and right click on it. From the resulting menu select 'Show File (or 'Show Original File' if that's available). (On iPhoto 11 this option is under the File -> Reveal in Finder.) Will the file open in Preview? If not then the file is damaged. Time to restore from your back up.
4. A corrupted iPhoto Cache: Trash the com.apple.iPhoto folder from HD/Users/Your Name/Library/ Caches...
5. A corrupted preference file: Trash the com.apple.iPhoto.plist file from the HD/Users/ Your Name / library / preferences folder. (Remember you'll need to reset your User options afterwards. These include minor settings like the window colour and so on. Note: If you've moved your library you'll need to point iPhoto at it again.)
If none of these help:
As a Test:
Hold down the option (or alt) key key and launch iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Create Library'
Import a few pics into this new, blank library. Is the Problem repeated there?

My photos are not showing up in the 'Open File' window

When I try to access my Aperture library through the 'Photo' button on the left hand column of the open file dialogue box, I see an option for aperture but it brings up an incomplete version of my library. There do not seem to be any other versions (or older versions) of my Aperture library floating around on my computer. Is this a refresh problem? Is there a way to force a refresh? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have had may similar problems lately, as I experiment with putting photos on my iPad and iPhone. (iTunes uses previews from Aperture, and the media browser (File -> Open) uses previews too.)
It seems that something went haywire with Aperture's preview generation in the last year. All I can suggest (from my personal experience) is to select all the photos you want, delete the previews, close Aperture, restart Aperture, regenerate the previews, close Aperture, restart Aperture and then do a couple different random things while waiting to figure out what happened.
I don't mean to sound unhelpful, but that actually is the set of steps I follow when trying to figure out what's wrong with my preview sharing.

HELP! Photo's not showing up in 3rd Party app media browsers

I just reformatted my computer. I restored all my docs (iPhoto library included) by dragging my Home folder from the external hard drive to the newly reformatted computer. I have done this many, many times. This time however, something got messed up with my iPhoto library.
Everything is okay in iPhoto itself, but when I open a third-part application such as Toast 7 or Comic Life and use that apps media browser to go thru my iPhoto library, only some of the photo's show.
All my albums show up and even the photo names, but most of the pics have no icons and cannot be used now in those application through their media browser.

Back to your problem...I am pretty sure a rebuild will get you going.
Try this:
Before doing a rebuild make sure iPhoto's trash bin is emptied. You can do this by control clicking on the trash bin, or from the menu bar under iPhoto.
Close iPhoto
Duplicate the iPhoto Library folder
Drag the duplicate to the desktop (hopefully you have enough room on your hard drive for the duplicate.)
Launch iPhoto holding down the Command and Option keys until you see the rebuild options screen.
Choose the first three options. If you were missing photos in your library, also choose the last option. Be advised that you will get a roll of orphaned photos and it might be quite huge. Most of them will already be in your iPhoto library, but use caution when deleting anything from this roll until you are sure the photos are still in your library in another place. It might be a good idea to share/export this roll of photos just in case you need to import them again.
Back to the rebuild, depending on the size of your library it might take some time. When it is done, hopefully your photos will be there.
You might see some unexpected results as I did when I did a rebuild. Photos had been moved to wrong dates, video clips had lost their duration info and some were even orphaned from the jpg pointer file. It took me some time to straighten it out again.
This is the reason to make a duplicate before you rebuild, in case you do not like the result. If you don't like the result, close iPhoto, then delete the rebuilt library and drag the duplicate back into the Pictures folder making sure the name is iPhoto Library. Launch iPhoto and it should open the library in the Pictures folder.

Photos are not showing up in my photo stream

Cannot see pictures on my photo stream . It says my photo stream is empty but I have lots of pictures. All sharing buttons are on and I'vv backed it up.

Photos from your camera roll are only added to photo stream after you turn it on. Photos in the camera roll prior to turning on photo stream are not uploaded. Also, photos are only held in photo stream for 30 days. After that they are deleted from your photo stream but will remain on your device until you delete them.
If the photos you are looking for in photo stream are either older than 30 days, or were in your camera roll prior to turning it on, this is why you aren't seeing them.

Music is on my iPod touch 1G but does not show up in the Music App

Been having this problem the last week. I synced my iPod before I went to bed, grabbed it and headed off to work on Tuesday. Once I got to work I went to use my iPod and when I opened the Music App a screen popped up saying "Updating Library...This may take a few minutes". I didn't think much about that as I have seen it a number of times after I synced quite a bit of new music or podcasts(the night before I had 3 new hour long podcasts that synced).
Set my iPod to the side as that usually does take a minute, turned back and the screen said "No Content" and then some line about buying music in iTunes. I was quite surprised as I had never seen this screen before. I turned my iPod off and back on and the same No Content message.
I checked my Photos App and those were still there and so were all my saved photos that don't sync. Checked some of my other apps and the settings and saved data was all there too.
Finally got the idea to check the About option in the Settings. Knowing that it would list how many songs and how much space was free. Opened that up and it said 0 songs but that I only had 1.4GBs of free space. Which tells me that my music is on the iPod but just isn't being recognized.
Got home that night and synced it and once done I checked it and my music was there. Friday this all happened again and I have not been able to get my music to show up again even though my iPod tells that I have 12GBs of something on there going by what the About page tells me.
The only change I have made is I finally updated from just Itunes 10.0.X to 10.1.4 on 12/20 of last year. I have a iPod touch 1G that is running 3.1.3.
Last night I did a restore and created a whole new iPod but the same issue has happened. I watched it sync my ~2800 songs but when I went to check them, No Content but the About page tells me there is 12GBs of space being used. Right now I am going to a back from from June of last year to see if that works but I doubt it. I also have an old install of iTunes 10.0.1 that I think I might try.
What else could be the problem?

MY podcast is not showing up in the podcast app.

I have recently changed my web host and had some small issues with the moving process but have since solved them for the most part. This is the final problem before our show is back in full force.I have pinged my feed with feedburner and it is coming up with the corrected information so I know the RSS is still set up, but I am wondering why it hasn't shown back up on iTunes or the podcast app?

You have introduced a fatal error into your feed which is rendering it unreadable by iTunes - when subscribing it shows as empty, and the Store will not update and is showing a cached version.
The error is in your episode of 22 June:

You've closed the URL with 'curly quotes" (I've enlarged and coloured them because at standard size you can't see it). This usually arises from copying from a word processor where 'smart quotes' are set up; XML does not allow this, you must use the standard straight quotes.

IPhoto08 Events not showing up under the photo tab in iTunes7.4.2

hi, I just bought the ipod touch and would like to sync some of the events I had organized in my iPhoto7.1. However, all my events are not there in my iTunes. The only syncing options i have are 'Last 12 months' and 'Last Import'. How can I have all the individual events display in iTunes so I can choose the ones I want to sync over to my ipod touch. Pls help. Thanks.
And one more thing, is 'lyrics' no longer supported in the touch? I couldn't find a way to access lyrics in ipod touch...

you just have to make an album and it will show in itunes.
