Photo print tools for the HP C on a Windows 8.1 machine.

I have used my HP 930c printer in my last computer but now on a 32/64 bit machine with Windows 8.1 the software from the instalation CD will not run on the desktop computer. I want to use this software because it allow changing the hue, contrast etc when printing photos using the 930c. Any idea haw this capability can be retreived from the CD and installed on the current computer?

The CD you have would have been from before a time when 8.1 existed, this it is not compatible. I have checked the website for you to see if there was a version released to download for 8.1, but there was not. You may be using an in-OS driver, meaning the driver is built into the operating system.
Because this printer is significantly older, I don't imagine there will be a release of the full feature software and driver.
Note the following limited functionalities with an in-OS driver:
No access to HP Solution Center. You will not have access to HP Solution Center (). However, see the workarounds at the end of this document for ways to accomplish tasks as you did before.
Limited functionality in HP Toolbox. You can still access the HP Toolbox () with the in-OS driver. However, the HP Toolbox functionality is limited. For example, you are unable to check estimated ink levels. See the workarounds at the end of this document for ways to accomplish some common HP Toolbox tasks.
Importing and viewing images on a memory card. If your product has a memory card slot, you can use the workaround at the end of this document to import and view images on a memory card.
Limited button functionality. If your HP product has buttons on the front panel, some of the buttons will not function as before. Following are examples of buttons that function and buttons that do not function with the in-OS driver:

I sourced the Windows 7 document as I could not find one for WIndows 8, but the information would be the same.

For one thing you forgot to mention the version of Photoshop you use.
Did you place the image as a Smart Object? Liquify got Smart-capabilities with Photoshop CC.

The best and easiest is to use the iPad's built-in AirPrint system with an AirPrint-capable printer. <iOS: AirPrint 101>
If you do not have an AirPrint-capable printer, all printing Apps are a compromise. I have an HP non-AirPrint printer connected to my WiFi router. The free HP App, ePrint Home & Biz works OK with photos.
Print n Share and PrintCentral each have their own browser, mail, text and photo programs that work well with the printer, but they can only be accessed from within other programs that have the "Open In" option. (So far, I think GoodReader is the only App I have with that option.)
You can run a program like Printopia or FingerPrint on your computer that will share its printer as AirPrint over WiFi. They both are reported to work well. However your computer must be on and awake any time you want to print. <Printopia for Macintosh> <FingerPrint for PC and Mac>

Hi,
For ALE/IDOC the medium will be either ALE or EDI but not printer.So it might be wrongly attached.As such there won't be any printer attached to idoc.

Requirement :I have to create a print program for the smartform where the output type may be print out,email or fax ,so i need to put the condition for selecting the output type (like printout,email,fax).

It is not the output type that has to be changed
it is the MEDIUM which you have to change and configure
for printout medium is 1
for FAX medium is 2
for MAIL it is 7.
so instead of printout change the medium to 2 or 7 for the same output type and attach to the same driver program and smartform/form.

When I tried toadd the printer, there was a message saying that the printer driver for the 2400 series was available, but when I tried to download it, I received an error message saying that I couldn't download it because of a network error. If you want us to help more, you will need to give us more detailed info. "It didn't work" leaves me wondering exactly what you've done so far.
For example, after clicking Add/+ and selecting the printer you want, have you waited for a full minute for the Mac to find the driver
- OR -
when it starts searching for driver, have you tried going to the pull-down menu where it says "Use: Auto-select," and choosing "Select Printer Software..." to make a manual selection?

MN05: setting the number of printer copies for the whole range of vendors

by t.code MN05 I can set the number of copies of the MM documents printed the FIRST TIME. I can do it for doc.type or vendor.
I can't set the number of printer copies for the whole range of vendors. Should I do it for each one of them?

setting for document type, it doesn't work for all range of vendors.
Setting for document type, in the field "PartF" I've put in "OA". Could it depend on it?
you do for document type and then it will cover all range of vendors.
If you want prints for a specific vendor then set condition recrod for that vendor only.

Reporting tools for the Business user - Crystal reports or BEx tools ?

We have recently implemented BI/BO infrastructure. Scope of the inital implementation was an executive dashboard based off COPA data. We have used Xelcisus for dashboard and BEx tools for query design etc.
We would like to set up some of our key business users (analysts in respective functions) to be able to write their own queries off this COPA cube. The discussion point is whether to roll out Crystal reports for business users or have them trained on BEx tools i.e BEx query designer/analyzer.
Any inputs to my question "Crystal Reports or BEx tools for the Business users - pros and cons", is appreciated.

We want to remove those info and add some extra info .

In OIDF, define the Shop Paper specially designed for External Service Operations.
In Order, in Print option, go to Operation Selection, select the required operation & select the print layout which is designed for External Service, so that, you can get the print out according to additional fields requirements.

Photoshop Touch crashes after selecting "Wrap" tool for the second time

As title says, when selecting "wrap" tool for the second time, Photoshop Touch crashes. It doesn't matter which images and even after reboot and clearing all the RAM, it constantly crashes only when selected for the second time. I'm using this on Galaxy Note 2 so it really shouldn't have issues with RAM or Processing power. I'm not quite sure about other tools but it should be looked into and hopefully more stable version will be release soon!

MX711 - Prints fine for the first few jobs then prints with no ink

- Prints fine for the first few jobs
then after 10 minutes or so it prints but no ink is on the page.
I replaced the ink cartridges and did all the nozzle clean, priming, alignment etc.
Questions.
1. What is the process to do a factory reset?
2. Any other troubleshooting steps I can do myself?

Performing a factory reset of the printer will likely not resolve the issue of the inks not printing; however, you can perform the following steps to reset the settings of the printer:
1. Press the MENU button.
2. Select SETUP, then press the OK button.
3. Select DEVICE SETTINGS, then press the OK button.
4. Use the arrow buttons to select RESET SETTING, then press the OK button.
5. Use the arrow buttons to select SETTINGS ONLY, then press the OK button.
6. Press the HOME button to return to the main menu after the settings have been reset.
When inks do not print correctly, we recommend performing at least one cleaning and two deep cleanings on the printer to try and get the ink to print. If you still experience difficulty, the printer will require servicing. Please call or email us using one of the methods on the Contact Us page for further assistance.

As the other poster says, apple doesn't place their seel of approval or recommend any printing app. search on here and read reviews on teh app store adn web site reviews to find the best app for your purposes. (SJ did respond to an email about printing from iPad by saying "be patient", so it might be in a future upgrade).
