Photo problem with tungsten e

When I click on "Photos" there is like a flash of black screen on bottom half and goes back to menu. I can view photos on desk top but cannot pull them up on two different units of tungsten e. I s there a way to check which programs are needed to run photos on the Tungsten E?

Well there are two things that have to happen in order for a hotsync to work properly
1. Your computer recognizes the device as a palm handheld with no problems
2. Hotsync recognizes the device as being connected.
Unless number 1 is occuring without issue number 2 never will.
If you are familar with your computers device manager launch that..While you are looking at the device manager attempt a hotsync and see if it recognizes the device properly if it recognizes it improperly you will see a yellow exclamation point next to it.
If there is an exclamation point. Right click on it and tell it to uninstall drivers. then disconnect your device and perform a soft reset. Once the device boots back up reconnect and attempt another hotsync.

Printing Photo problems with HP8500 + Win7 (64) bit.

I'm having major headaches with not bring able to print correctly with the HP8500. All my pictures are coming out darker then they should be. I'm using the windows 7 drivers but no color control.
I tried to put in different drivers from other printers but the only one that installed correctly in Windows 7 is Photosmart C309n but the printing comes out the same.
I can't seem to get colors correct. everything looks fine until it tries to print to the 8500. I tried using 4 different photo software.
With the win7 drivers there is a color management tab but no ICC profile is associated with it.
I'm using all things HP in this system including paper/ink.
can anyone point me in the right direction.

FYI, I've been having problems with Win7/64bit and HP8500dn. Here's the official response I received from HP "Please be informed that, For Windows 7 PC, the printer driver for this model is not available".

Taking Photo Problem with E5-00

I bought E5-00 just yesterday. I noticed my camera have some problem while take a picture with Flash. Picture shows not clear & white shade on picture. If rooms light / day light is enough, I can take picture without flash in very good quality & clear.
is any suggestion to fix this problem.

Zen Sleek Photo - Problems with connecting device to the comput

My zen sleek photo gives me this error message when I try to transfer nusic from Napster "Your portable device has stopped responding. To restart your transfer, please disconnect and reconnect your device. Tracks will begin transferring when the device is connected."?I have tried disconnecting and reconnecting, this does not work. I have also tried the recovery mode using the Clean up and reboot options. I am afraid to try Format and Reload Firmware, since my MP3 player continues to stop responding. I have also tried?installing Creative Zen Sleek PlaysForSure Firmware 2.0.03 and I get this error message "Your player is not connected please connect your player."? Disconnecting and reconnecting does not work here either. I was successful in initially transferring about 50 - 75 songs from Napster. I have also been able to and still can'transfer music from cd's to my MP3 player. It?appears as though Creative Media Explorer, Creative Media Source Player and?Creative Media Source Organizer are all operating OK with my MP3 player. Sorry, no I can't transfer music. You would first have to let WMP scan the folder where the songs are. Once they are in your Library section right click the songs and choose Add to Sync List. Then click on the Sync tab and click on Start Transfer and it should transfer over. After choosing Add to Sync List. Then click on the Sync tab and click on Start Sync I get this error message from WMP "Windows Media Player cannot access the file. Photo problems with Flash Player 10

I need help disabling Flash Player when trying to copy
pictures from a webpage. When I copy a picture from the internet I
usually right click on my mouse which brings up a menu with the
option of copy or save picture as - but after downloading Flash
Player 10 - Now when I click on the right button of my mouse to try
to copy a picture off a webpage it brings up a menu for Flash
Player with no option to copy anything. I need to disable or
unselect flash player so I can copy pictures again. Any ideas on
how to fix this problem would be greatly appreciated.

What that means is that the picture you're looking at is
being presented inside of a Flash Player SWF. Flash takes over the
right-click menu, and if the developer has not enabled you to copy
content (which they can as of CS4 and Flash Player 10) then you
won't be able to do it. that helps developers protect their
content.
If you disable Flash Player (there are tools to do it it, or
you can uninstall it) then you won't be able to -view- any of that
Flash content.
Now, this should not in any way effect images that are in
regular HTML pages. Those would still have the regular right-click
menu of the browser you're using.

I have a backup of all my contacts on my hard-drive. My Palm was stolen. HELP !!! How do I access and read this information without a Palm instrument?

Lost photos problem with iphoto 2

i seem to have lost around 90% of my photos - at least - they are not in the library when i start iphoto - but they are there when i check finder. roll 10 to roll 82 are missing. i just imported more photos - and iphoto seemed to work out that they must have been there at some stage because it named the next roll roll 83.
anyone have any idea what has happenned ? have i lost some sort of pointer file ? thx.

Yes, you can delete the old iPhoto Library folder to free up considerable disk space -- don't empty the trash until you've launched iPhoto again, just to make sure you didn't toss the wrong one. The files that change ofter are the ones most likely to get corrupted -- albums and/or keywords (although roll associations are also subject to corruption). Fortunately, all of those are of a temporary nature in comparison to the photos, themselves.

Ipod photo: problem with artwork

It seems that on Itunes, my artowrk is all correct, but on my ipod, the imgaes are jumbled up for some of the albums. Does anyone know how to solve this problem? Thanks.

I just order 8 calendars from iPhoto and they came to me fine. Now I need to order two more but when I go thru the process I get a message saying:unable to assemble calendar. There is a probleme with the photo with the file name"(Null)" more........ .

Would someone be able to explain to me the following issue with Iphoto?
I ordered 8 same calendars for my soccer team and received them fine. Although a couple of pictures on it are a little off (out of focus). I need to order two more of the same calendars but when I go thru the process ireceive an error message saying:
"Unable to to assemble calendar" There is a problem with the photo with the file name "(Null)" The full resolution version of this photo either cannot be located or is corrupt. Please replace this photo or delete it from your calendar.
How can I fine this "corrupt" photo? How did it go thru with the first batch of calendars but won't go thru now?

Apply the two fixes below in order as needed:
Fix #1
Launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
Since only one option can be run at a time start
with Option #4 and then #1 as needed.
Fix #2
Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
1 - download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
2 - click on the Add Library button, navigate to your Home/Pictures folder and select your iPhoto Library folder.
3 - Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the File ➙ Rebuild Library menu option.
4 - In the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
5 - Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments. However, books, calendars, cards and slideshows will be lost. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.

Sorry for the late reply. My email firewall has become a little over zealous & sent a lot of my emails straight to my junk email folder, so I have only just now discovered your reply in my junk mail folder.
The only "don't open files exceeding xxx megabytes" instruction I can find in my Prefs, is in the Bridge Prefs for Thumbnails, & mine is set at 1000mb. The biggest files I handle are bigger than 200mb so I should be able to open a few, not just one.
However, this doesn't explain why I can open a psd format file of 180mb, close it, but then can't open a RAW format file of only 26mb immediately after.
I can open the RAW file only if I restart my computer - very annoying!
However, thanks for the advice about the video card & memory.
So, I'm still stuck as to what the issue is.

Ever since upgrading to iOS5, I've had problems with my photo albums. Anybody else having problems?

I have a Verizon iPhone 4 and updated to iOS 5 on the release date. Ever since, I've had all kinds of problems with photos. In my albums, whether it be Camera Roll or Photo Stream (which I have since disabled), either the thumbnails are repeated when they shouldn't be, or they appear as a gray box. If I do happen to see a photo, it's blurry. In either case, if I choose "Edit" the correct picture appears and is clear. If I save or cancel, it either goes back to the wrong photo or the gray box. I do not sync my photos. I've searched all over the net and can't seem to find anything about this being a known issue. Has anybody else had this happen and if so, what did you do to fix it?

Reset all settings !
Settings > General > Reset > Reset all settings.
That helped me with the same issue.

I have an iMac and iphoto. Currently I am having a problem with an album in iphoto. When I double click on the album all I get in the main body of the screen is a triangle with an exclamation mark and my 2 photos show at the very bottom of the window.

I have an imac and am using iphoto. Currently I am having a problem with one particular album which shows in the main part of the window a triangle with an exclamation point. The two photos are at the bottom of the main window in the same area where the "info" "edit" "create" area is. I can see the two photos but I can not get them back into the main part of the window. I can't drag them anywhere either. I can't double click or right click on either of the two photos either. All I can do is click on either one and they get a little bigger. Before I saw the exclamation point in the main body of the window all I get is two squares with nothing in them and the entire border is made up of dashes. Can someone help me?

Make a temporary, backup copy of your library if you don't already have one (Control-click on the library and select Duplicate from the contextual menu) and apply the two fixes below in order as needed:

I am new to digital photo - I have been a B&W film photographer for many years. I have a problem with a Macbook Air. It was working fine - I was using LR and a message came on the screen that said something like the memory was dangerously low. I stopped and tried to delete LR files. I couldn't do it. I closed the program and tried reopening and got the message that there is not enough memory available to open LR. I contacted Apple. They spent a half hour on the phone with me and eventually told me they didn't know how to help. The tech said that LR had gobbled up all the memory and said I should contact Adobe and ask where and how my photo files are stored and to delete them. I have several back-ups. Thanks - Arthur

This sort of error message only comes up for Lightroom when your hard disk is full. Indeed this has nothing to do with internal memory as that will be intelligently be dealt with. If you have a mac Book Air that is not so surprising as the cheapest versions come with very small hard disks and if you shoot raw with any recent camera, you'll fill up your hard disk very quickly and you can probably only store a few months of pictures if you are a typical photographer. So the bottom line is that you need to create some room on your hard disk. You should move some of your originals to an external hard disk. You can also delete some of your backup copies of your catalog file that Lightroom automatically generates every few days and that quickly gobble up hard disk space. So first figure out how full your hard disk is. To see that, go to the apple menu, hit -> About this Mac -> More info->Storage. You should see your internal hard disk on top and you'll find that it is almost entirely full with photos. Now find your Lightroom catalog file using Finder. It is usually in a folder in the Pictures folder in your home directory. You should see a Lightroom 5 Catalog.lrcat file, a previews file and a folder called backups. Inside the backups folder, you'll find a lot of subfolders. They have names that show the dates the backups were created. If you have backups of your entire hard disk, you can delete these backups when they are older than a few months. I usually only keep the last 4 around. Just drag the folders into the trash can on the dock on the bottom of your screen and empty the trash. This will probably free up enough space that Lightroom will already run again. Now start thinking about where you will want to store older images. If you have a good USB3 or Thunderbolt hard disk that is probably the best option. Here’s How to Move Images to Another Drive in Lightroom. « Julieanne Kost's Blog If that doesn't work because you don't have enough hard drive space to run Lightroom yet, here is another set of instructions to move your files using the finder to the other hard disk: How do I move only my photos to another hard drive, leaving the catalog where it is? - The Lightroom Queen. If you follow that, as soon as you confirm all your images are on the new hard disk, you can delete them from your internal one. She is not so clear about that part but if you don't delete the originals that you moved off you don't free up space. You should move the folder structure over to the new hard disk and then reconnect the folders in Lightroom. That should make it refind all your images.
That said, if you are uncomfortable with the computer in itself, your best bet is to find a local photography club. There is invariably a Lightroom savvy person in there that could help you move your files. That might be your best bet if you are uncomfortable moving these yourself. A general mac savvy person like you would find at an Apple store or so generally will not be able to help you with this except when they are photographers themselves and know Lightroom. You might get lucky with that.

Problem with installing Paint shop Pro photo X2 on with Vista

Trying to install Paint shop photo x2 on my note book but at the end of the installation it freezes and there seems to be some problem with "registering"...
Corel (supplier of paint shop) now advised me to change some drivers but the links I received are for XP or lower versions.
Is there anybody who had the same problem and find the solution?
i have tried already several things (like shutting down norton, msconfig changes etc)....

I have noticed that not all programs and applications are compatible and support the Vista OS. Did you check if this program supports Vista?
I think this should be clarified firstly.
I would recommend contacting the Paint shop Pro manufacture for the troubleshooting.
