Photo's Wont Go on Iphone

I have tried saving the folder under different names etc & in different places on my comp. When i click photos on the bar across the top of my Itunes it allows me to pick the folder i want to sync the photos from. When i click & find the folder, it says the folder is empty, despite it having photos in.
Does anyone know how i can sort this please?
Thanks

Strange way to ask for help for something you screwed up - insulting the progrtan you want to use and do not understand
In any case you can use image capture (in your applications folder) as suggested OR you can go to the iPhoto preferences and set the action when a comera is connected to launch iPhoto - or you can connect the phone and launch iPhoto and the phone will be in the source pane on the left - import from there - many correct ways to accomplish this

  • HT201317 My photo's wont stream from my iphone to my mac?

I have all the settings and system prefreneces turned on correctly and still my photo's wont stream? please can someone help. Many thanks

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
Photostream only syncs photos over Wi-Fi, make sure you are connected to Wi-Fi to begin with.
Photostream only syncs when the camera app is closed, ensure it is closed.
Photostream only syncs when the battery is above 20%, try recharging the device
Try disabling photo stream on your device (settings > iCloud), restarting your device and then re-enabling photo stream.

Guys, I found another user and what he said to do worked!!! I have copied the information below:
This was 1 of the things that happend to me too, the other one was that at the bottom of the itunes page were it says all the memory info, it marked that I had over 3gb of other memory wich I didn't.
Anyways what I did was to unmark the calendar, contacts etc. ( so that they wont sync with the computer ), pressed apply,  then I marked all of them again, apply again and for last I pressed Sync wich is at the bottom right coner by the apply botton.
I'm not sure that had anything to do with it but it worked, my music appeard both of my itunes playlists and the ones I bought in itunes.  Also the other memory dissapeard and it's all good.
I'm not sure this will help you but thats my 5 cents, if the problem continues its better to call customer service and ask for a technician.
Hope your problem gets solved. Have a nice day.

  • Why isn't there an app to create photo albums directly on an iPhone?

The ability to create photo albums directly on the iPhone seems to be so obvious that I can only assume that the SDK doesn't allow for it, otherwise it'd be done. Am I missing something? Is it that a sync to the iTunes would break because the directory structure for the create-on-the-phone albums wont exist at the time of sync?
Anyway, if ever there was low-hanging fruit, this is it. I've accumulated 600+ photos since '07, even after routine purges of cruft.

iTunes doesn't handle the import of photos from a digital camera including from the iPhone's Camera Roll, which this would involve along with creating the albums or folders on your computer for the albums created on the iPhone from the iPhone's Camera Roll.
The Camera Roll is for temporary storage as with any other digital camera and photos/videos in the Camera Roll can and should be imported by your computer as with any other digital camera. Although photos/videos in the iPhone's Camera Roll are included with the iPhone's backup, it isn't a good idea to depend on your iPhone alone for this which can be lost or stolen, or on your iPhone's backup which includes a significant amount of other data in the event a problem develops with the backup.
Since photos/videos in the Camera Roll can and should be imported by your computer as with any other digital camera, you can create albums/folders for select photos on your computer to include photos imported from your iPhone's Camera Roll and for other photos on your computer for transfer to your iPhone via the iTunes sync/transfer process, which is a one way transfer process only - from your computer to your iPhone.

  • TS3697 I am receiving an error message(iTunes will no longer sync photos to the iPhone "Peter's iPhone". Do you want to keep or remove photos previously synced to your iPhone") I am trying to download pics from my computer to my iPhone. Any ideas? Peter

When I went to download some pics (originally taken with my iphone 4S) from my computer back to my iPhone I got the following error message: "iTunes will no longer sync photos to the iPhone "Peter's iPhone". Do you want to keep or remove photos previosly synced to your iPhone?"
Coincidentally, my wife just purchased an iPhone 4S and syncs to iTunes on the same computer.
    Any ideas?
    Peter

The "best" way to handle it, if you want to keep everything separate, is to create separate user accounts on the computer. make sure you log into your account on the computer before you attempt to sync your phone and log out when you're done using the computer.
Though it's possible to sync both of them to the same iTunes library, and even share an account for the iTunes store, you're inviting confusion and possible data loss (as you've discovered already). Best to just use separate user accounts on the computer. That also gives you the benefit of not polluting the other persons browser favorites, contacts, etc.

  • When I save photos or videos from my iPhone 4S to my PC they are all sideways.  Is there a way to prevent this from happening?  All are taking with the phone in portrait mode.

When I save photos or videos from my iPhone 4S to my PC they are all sideways.  Is there a way to prevent this from happening?  All are taken with the phone in portrait mode.

Shot videos ONLY in landscape. For photos choose what's you like. Maybe you have to rotate photos on PC. What's your operating system?

  • Can I create separate folders to save media on my Airport Time Capsule? Issue is I have a 256GB HDD Mac Pro Retina which is almost full. TC will only take backup of my HDD. So where would I save my photos and videos from my iPhone and iPad?

It is a hard one.. laptops with small drives are a pain.
What you need is a home media server.
Some people use a PC running itunes for cost.. but that is nothing like as good as using a Mac mini.. they make great little HTPC device.. you can plug in large hard disks and store all your files and media. And share it with the network.. Read up apple's instructions on home sharing.
    https://www.apple.com/au/support/homesharing/
For cost you can buy a mini from 2011 or 2012.. I would not recommend earlier ones.. the advantage of 2012 is they have USB3 ports. But you will pay more for them.. new mini is not as useful.. they have soldered in memory and you cannot upgrade.. the old mini was the most easily modified mac in the whole range. Uses little power and can be bought for a $300US for a good one second hand.. maybe less.

  • HT201317 My photos are syncing from my iPhone, to the iCloud PhotoStream and to our iPad, but it is no longer syncing to my computer (Microsoft, not Apple).   Why would this happen and how can I get it resolved?

My photos are syncing from my iPhone to the iCloud PhotoStream and to our iPad, but they are no longer syncing to our home computer (Microsoft operating system, not Apple).   Why would this happen and how can I get it resolved?  I have since tried to remove and reinstall the iCloud application in my computer's control panel.  I have verified that I am using the latest Apple operating system and the latest iTunes.  I have reset my photo stream.  Not sure what else to try...   I was also having an issue with my calendar where it would sync from my computer to my iPhone but not vice versa.  Somehow in all the resetting that's resolved, but the photo issue is not.   Again - photos are going into the photostream, but not wirelessly being put into the file on my computer.

To change the iCloud ID on your device you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password to turn off Find My iPhone when prompted, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use.

  • What is the direct connect method for transfering photos from my macbook pro to my iphone without using iTunes syncronization? (iow: a simple photo copy from mac to iphone?)

I feel like I should know the answer to this. I can't believe it is a hard question.
What is the direct connect method for transfering photos from my macbook pro to my iphone without using iTunes syncronization? (iow: a simple photo copy from mac to iphone?)
    Easy? Right?
Just plug my iphone in to a mac and copy a photo from the mac to my iphone.
I don't have internet access - I can't email it, or mobileme it, or dropbox it.

iTunes. Other than that there is no direct method. However, do try the iPhone forums.

  • HT201317 How do I add existing photos and albumns on my iPhone to the photo stream?

How do I add existing photos and albumns on my iPhone to the photo stream?

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
The easiest method is to connect your device to iTunes, transfer the photos to your computer and add them to photostream from there. If you only have a few photos to add, you could take a screenshot of each one.

  • How can i restore my photos from ipone 4s to iphone 5s

how can i restore my photos and videos fron iphone 4s to iphone 5s

You can import the photos and videos from the camera roll on the iPhone 4s with your computer followed by transferring the imported photos and videos from your computer to the iPhone 5s via the iTunes sync/transfer process.
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4083
Photos and videos in the iPhone's camera roll or included with the iPhone's backup. You can update the backup for your iPhone 4s if not already updated followed by transferring the backup for your for 4S to the iPhone 5s. This will include all data included with the backup for the for 4S.

  • I am using Iphone with windows. I have draged photos from my computer into Iphone in the past, but cant seem to do it now. How do I move photos from my pc to my iphone without deleting photos that are on the phone.

I am using Iphone with windows. I have draged photos from my computer into Iphone in the past, but cant seem to do it now. How do I move photos from my pc to my iphone without deleting photos that are on the phone.

You cannot drag pics from computer to iphone.  This has never been a feature of iphone.
You sync them as you would anything esle.
You select photos from the photos tab.  Whatever is selected will be on your iphone.  Anything not selected will not be. Make sure that everything you want on your iphone is selected, then sync.
