Photo Shop Elements Premier 13 Install error

I downloaded PSEP 13 from Adobe but when I go to install I get this error
Exit Code: 7 Please see specific errors below for troubleshooting. For example,  ERROR:   -------------------------------------- Summary --------------------------------------  - 0 fatal error(s), 2 error(s)    ERROR: This installer does not support installation on a 64-Bit Windows operating system. Please download the 64-Bit version of Premiere Elements.  ERROR: System check returned with error : 6  -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It seems to indicate that I should have a 64-bit installer but I cannot find it in the downloaded files or on the web site.
Any thoughts?
Thanks

  • Uninstall photo shop elements 6

I bought a new V500 epson scanner from Staples about a week ago.  When I tried to install photo shop elements 6 the install got down to 38 seconds left and froze up.  I turned the computer off and then on again.  I found that the photo shop was not completely installed and it won't allow me to uninstall either.  Iwould like to install and then reinstall.  How can I uninstall photo shop?  Thank you for you help.

You have corrupted the system registry
You need to manually delete the program folder, and then buy a registry repair program
    This one is good http://www.macecraft.com/
You also need software to make a full hard drive backup to an external USB drive
Hardware crashes or virus infections happen, so you should buy software to make a full backup of your hard drive to an external USB hard drive... plus making step-by-step backups during a new install or major program addition makes it easy to go back a step if something doesn't work
This backup and then restore is, of course, only to the same computer with a new drive (or the same drive as long as you don't mind writing over everything) since doing a restore to a new computer won't work due to Windows and many programs having activation information that is keyed to your hardware (which is why Windows will force you to RE-Activate if you change very much hardware)
The product I use is at http://www.terabyteunlimited.com/image-for-linux.htm
Image runs off of a bootable CD via Linux (the Zip you download includes a program to make the bootable CD) and it reads EVERYTHING on the drive, even the hidden registration information, so everything is restored when needed... and you may restore the image to a brand new drive in case of a crash, and not have to re-install anything
Please note that I own no part of Image, and I don't get a referral fee (that is just a plain web link) but I use the program and it has saved me a LOT of trouble when I had a hard drive die... and I was able to restore everything and not have to re-install or re-activate a single program, from Windows on up

I don't know what instructions you may have followed, but as long as you "signed out" , then you will be fine.

  • Photo shop elements 7

I have Photo Shop Elements 7 - using with Windows XP.  In the Organizer section, main menu, I cannot
get the File, Edit, Find, View to show up without having to click on the double arrows first.  I would like
them to appear as they do in Editor section.  Thanks for any help.

If you follow the link in John's first option, you will find these instructions for XP:
Reduce the Windows screen font size to 96 dpi.
Choose Start > Control Panel > Display or Start > Settings > Control Panel > Display.
    Choose Settings > Advanced.
Choose Normal Size (96 DPI) from the DPI Settings menu.
Click OK to the warning, then click Apply.
Click Yes in the General dialog box if it states that the required files are already installed on your desktop.
Close the Display Properties Control Panel.
    Restart your computer.

  • Is there a Dutch /Nederlandse version of Photo shop elements 7.0

I have installed a version 7.0 from photo shop elements  where in the start I was able to change the country to DUTCH ,the licence agrement changed to Dutch and was hoping that the program was in DUTCH after installation ,This was not the cash .
Is there a download /update for this .

    Hi Jeff
    Thanks  for you email .
The family in Holland was using a trail version of 7.0 and have bought a element 7.0 book to get working with photo shop .
They liked the program and bought a version in Holland and installed this and was surprised that this was not in Dutch but English
Having a Book for 7.0 and buying a new version 11 is not a option now as they have just spend 90 euro for the software.

  • Hard drive crashed/ Photo shop elements 7 can't be reinstalled/license key valid for one installation

    Good Day All Forum People!
My hard drive crashed! I cannot install my Photo Shop Elements into my new hard drive. The License key is designed for one download to one computer. How do I download not only my Elements 7, but as well all my tutorials/training videos. These are original videos not copies(I Paid For) in 2009 for college.
YOUR HELP in this matter is greatly appreciated...Penny
    Have a mos beautiful Day!

Photoshop Elements 7 can be downloaded thru the page linked below:
    http://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop-elements/kb/photoshop-elements-7-8-9-downloads.html
If that does not work for you then you can download the trial version of the software thru the page linked below and then use your current serial number to activate it.
Be sure to follow the steps outlined in the Note: Very Important Instructions section on the download pages at this site and have cookies enabled in your browser or else the download will not work properly.

As far as your tutorials and training videos go, you will likely have to research that yourself since no one here is likely to know what those were nor where they can be acquired.

  • Photo Shop elements down load

I tried to down load a trial copy of Photo shop Elements and although I have some tutorial files I was not successful in down loading the actual program file; or at least it is not listed in my program files.  Help!

No, the install did not work properly.  When I down loaded I said to "run" and not "save".  I was informed that it may be best to use the save option. (?)  Not sure.
    Thanks,

  • Problem downloading Photoshop Elements with IE10 [was: photo shop elements]

I am trying to install Photo Shop Elements on my computer which has Windows 7 and IE9 and it keeps telling me I need IE4 or higher to install it and quits the installation. Can anyone help me with this?

It's a well known issue with the Adobe website and IE10.
The website script has a bug which seems to think IE10 is IE1 (which is hopelessly out of date). So the download quits. Has been repeatedly reported to Adobe but not fixed - or even acknowledged by Adobe - yet.
    Workarounds:
Use Compatibility View in IE10 (change to IE9) to fool Adobe's website to think you're using IE9
    Use a different browser.
