Photo shows up on site, but not in iWeb

I have a little issue! I've created this site :

But at the bottom of each page is a photo of trees that shouldn't be there. When I try to find this mysterious photo in iWeb- it isn't there.
I've emptied the cache and republished the site, but I'm still plagued by this image.
Does anyone know how I could get this photo to show up, or where it's coming from?

Its named backgroundimage_2.jpg. The URL to the one on the Links page, for example, is....

Try dragging a text box down the page to see if you can see it.
It may be in the footer area so, do a Shift-Command-L to show the layout, command drag a text box into the footer and drag it down.

My recent podcasts are showing on iTunes site but not in podcast app or iTunes

Hi,
I've never used this forum before, but am struggling to find out what is going wrong with my podcasts.
I have a podcast that has been running fine for some time, but now no longer updates in the podcast app, or in my podcast subscriptions in iTunes.

The last episode I can see in my iTunes podcast subscriptions and podcast app is episode 55, yet the most recent, episode 59, shows fine on the itunes website.
Is there a reason that I can listen to the most recent episode via the itunes site, but my subscriptions wont update?
It seems that the problem has been experienced by several people.
As far as I'm aware, I havent changed the way I do anything.
Any help would be appreciated.

The 'itunes:summary' tag for the episode of 19th January ends like this -
"This year, I will exercise more.&quot...</itunes:summary>
As the '"' tag has been truncated you have an ampersand (indicating the start of a code sequence) but the code is never finished. This renders the rest of the feed unreadable, and as that includes the closing tags the entire feed is invalidated and iTunes cannot read it.
There's no reason to have all these '"' tags - just type " (iTunes won't render the code but will display it, which looks messy) - but in any case don't let a code be truncated like that or you will have this problem.
Incidentally it's better all round to start your own thread when you have a query, rather than tag on to an existing one which can cause confusion if a discussion is ongoing. You're also more likely to be noticed.

Photos showing up in Safari but not in Firefox 18.01

at the bottom of the page i have a component swiper. in safari if you swipe the page you will see background images. But in Firefox the images are not not showing at all.
I redid the photos in photoshop cs6 to make sure they are rgb and saved for web.

It looks like you're closing </head> tag in in the wrong place in the page from the iframe (bottom.html). That may be causing a problem with the script writing in the background image to the blank parts in your css.
Right now it is on line 17, before the opening <style> tag, it should be on line 776. You are also missing the opening <body> tag.

Photos show up in iMovie, but not in finalized video after uploaded...

I was able to drag in photos to my project, but when I finalized and uploaded the video to youtube the pictures didn't show up. It just gave me a black screen that says "source clip is missing". Help!

Apply the two fixes below in order as needed:
Fix #1
Launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
Since only one option can be run at a time start with Option #3, followed by #4 and then #1 as needed.
Fix #2
Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
1 - download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
2 - click on the Add Library button, navigate to your Home/Pictures folder and select your iPhoto Library folder.
3 - Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the File ➙ Rebuild Library menu option.
4 - In the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
5 - Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments. However, books, calendars, cards and slideshows will be lost. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.

Photos show in "Last Roll" but not in "Library" - why??

I recently uploaded to the library a file from my desktop that contained pictures from two different cameras - 108 pictures in all. The upload was successful, but one set of the pictures doesn't show in my Library, even though the total number of pictures says 108.
However, when I view Last Roll, all 108 pictures are there, so obviously they all must have uploaded to iPhoto. Why aren't they showing up in Library?
Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated!

Welcome to the Apple Discussions. Go into the Photos window with Roll Names selected to display and type in one of the file names in the search window at the bottom right. The event and the photo will be displayed in the window.

If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. IWeb 08 pages show on the web but not in iWeb

iWeb 08 was working fine until I attempted to update pages that were originally made in the previous version of iWeb. Although the pages display on the .mac website, I cannot load or edit the pages within iWeb. I have two files in Library>Application Support>iWeb Domain.site and domain.sites2. Launching iWeb from either file still does not correct the problem. Another piece of the puzzle: an error message appears that states that two images are missing upon launching, and when I click on one of the pages that won't load, the error message: Missing File, color-profile-1

I followed the topic concerning the Firefox photoalbum problem but I´m using Safari and the albums will not show up on the web !!!! I also exchanged the detailview and headercontrol *js which worked fine for opening the photoalbum on my harddisk with firefox. But when its uploaded to the server it won´t display and that in Safari!!!! On the published folder on my harddisk everything works fine

That occurs when the library has lost the link to the original file. This is a result of a damaged library database file, Library6.iPhoto. You can try rebuilding the library from within iPhoto to see if you can recover the photos by launching iPhoto with the Command+Option keys depressed and follow the instructions to rebuild the library. Select the first three options. However, it's iffy.
You can rebuild the library with iPhoto Library Manager as it create a new library, leaving the original one intact, by reading the AlbumData.xml file and copying what it needs. You will be able to recover the photos, albums, keywords, titles and comments. However, books, slideshows, and calendars will not be recovered. Here's how:
Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
1 -Download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
2 -Click on the Add Library button, navigate to your User/Pictures folder and select your iPhoto Library folder.
3 - Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the File->Rebuild Library menu option
4 - In the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
5 - Click on the Create button.
Note: It may take some time to create the new library if you have a lot of photos. Report back on how long it took and how many photos you have in the library so we can give other users an idea of how long it may take.
It that doesn't work you'll have to start over with a new library and import the Originals folder from the old library as follows:
Creating a new library while preserving the Events from the original library.
Move the existing library folder to the desktop.
Open the library package like this.
Launch iPhoto and, when asked, select the option to create a new library.
Drag the Originals folder from the iPhoto Library on the desktop into the open iPhoto window.
This will create a new library with the same Events as the original library if you have the Finder checkbox unchecked in the Events preference pane.

You are probably looking in the wrong place - all photos in Photo view and in event too unless you have a corrupted library
most common cause of your not finding them is bad sort - view menu ==> sort events
Nest most common cause is a bad data/time on the camera - this can be corrected using a smart album to find the photos from that camera and then using using the adjust time/date command to fix the bad ones
YOu can alwasy find the event a Photo is in by selecting it and selecting show event

Slide show works on PCs but not on Macs

A parent at the school where I teach has just created a
website for us. She used Dreamweaver and photoshop to create it.
There are some pages where there should be a looping slide show
(that runs on its own). These slide shows work on PCs but not on
Macs (it just stays on one photo on Macs). For the slide show she
"just added a timeline to the jpg image, changing the imagesource
every 60 frames, that you can do in dreamweaver." Is there some way
to fix this so it works on both?

Unfortunately, the timeline function may not be the best way
to do this.
Notwithstanding Joe's comments about 508 compliance, there
have been issues
reported in the past regarding the use of timelines on Macs.
It may be
better to seek some 'banner rotation' scripts using Google,
and replace the
timelines with that script. Your volunteer may or may not
know how to do
that....

I have been syncing calendar and contacts on my iPhone 5 and Outlook 2007 using iCloud 2.1.3 (my PC is running Vista). All was well until the events I entered on the phone were showing up in Outlook, but not the other way around. I’ve tried the usual recommended steps: deselecting calendar and contacts in the iCloud control panel and then re-selecting, signing out of the panel and back in, and repairing the Outlook installation in control panel. I even uninstalled iCloud on the PC and downloaded it again (same version).
The furthest I’ve gotten is step 2 (and once, step 3) of 7 while performing “Outlook Setup For iCloud.” At that point I get, “Your setup couldn’t be started because of an unexpected error.” After the first attempt at all this, all my calendar events disappeared from Outlook, although they are still in iCloud calendar and on my phone.
Sound familiar? Any ideas on how to solve this iCloud/Outlook issue? Thanks much in advance!

I have a Rocketfish mini display port to VGA adaptor cord for a macbook pro, it was working fine the first week, now it does not show what I am seeing on my laptop on my lg Flat screen tv. It only shows the space background but not any icons. Any help??

It seems as though though it may be a connection issue, possibly hardware or adapter. Make certain the connections are TIGHT.
For software you may try a smc reset:
Shut down the computer.
Plug in the MagSafe power adapter to a power source, connecting it to the Mac if its not already connected.
On the built-in keyboard, press the (left side) Shift-Control-Option keys and the power button at the same time.
Release all the keys and the power button at the same time.
Press the power button to turn on the computer.
Note: The LED on the MagSafe power adapter may change states or temporarily turn off when you reset the SMC.
Try a pram reset:
Shut down your Mac.
Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Option, Command (⌘), P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
Turn on your Mac.
Immediately press and hold the Option-Command-P-R keys. You must press this key combination before the gray screen appears. Continue holding the keys down until your Mac restarts, and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
Release the keys.
If no joy you can take it in to an Apple store genius bar for a free evaluation make an appointment first.

If it's an Audiobook, then it's probably in the Audiobook section of your iPhone. Have you set your iTunes to Sync Audiobooks with your iPhone?
Alternatively, if the Audiobook was imported into your iTunes Library as as Music, then it's going to be in the Music section of your iPhone. If so, then it will be in the Music section of your iTunes Library. To move it to the Audiobooks section, select it in the Library and choose File/Get Info/Options>Media Kind where you can change it.
You can change it to a Podcast, but since something is only a Podcast if it is delivered to your iTunes as a Podcast download (which is a process for delivering files without you having to go and find them), then your audiobook is not a Podcast and you may forget (in the future) how you obtained the book in the first place
