Photo Stream no longer working on PC after iOS 8
Photo Stream has always worked well for me, automatically uploading all photos taken with my iPhone to my Windows 7 PC. However, since I updated to iOS 8, Photo Stream no longer uploads to the PC. It works on all my iOS devices, but no longer uploads new photos to the PC. I have re-installed iCloud for Windows, but this has not made a difference. Am I overlooking something or is this a common problem iOS 8 users are having?
Thanks for your help! After upgrading to iOS 8.1, upgrading to the latest iTunes and re-installing iCloud for Windows, Photo Stream is working again!

Since I have downloaded the iOS7 software my photos no ,longer automatically sync and upload to my lap top. How can I make this happen again?
Hi missvashenca,
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. If your photos are not appearing on your computer from your iOS device anymore through Photo Stream, I'd first verify that the Photo Stream service is still enabled on your iOS device:
iCloud: Set up Photo Stream
http://support.apple.com/kb/PH2605
If it is, you may also want to try switching it off and back on again.
Likewise, I would also try this with your computer's Photo Stream settings.
As always, I recommend backing up your photos before performing troubleshooting:

Since updating to IOS 7.0.4 My pictures no longer automatically load to my PC's photo stream folder. I have not changed any settings after upgrading from IOS 7.0.3. What could be the problem?

Shared photo-stream, makes long file names with 42 random characters
Windows icloud 3.1, in a shared photo-stream, makes file names with 42 random characters long. It didn't do this in iCloud 2. I have installed iCloud 3.1 on a windows 8.0 and 8.1 machine and two Windows 7 machines. They all do the same thing. It used to give me file names like "IMG_0001.jpg" now it gives me random file names like "01a9fc3363330464233a142486180f0c1622eb9fca.jpg" all the pictures are out order.
Does anyone have fix for this? Does any one else have this problem? I have posted this before and know one else that uses windows seams to have this problem exect me. I did call Apple and they did some research and bumped me up to senior techs and eventuality Apple told me this is working the way it was designed to. This is extremely stupid, I need the sequential file names so the pictures will sort correctly.I have never found a solution for this.
I did find a Work Around. What I do when I receive a folder full of pictures from another ios iPhone user, I copy all the photos as a batch from the PhotoStream folder into a free Windows program called "FastStone Photo Resizer" from www.FastStone.org. This program allows you to resize the photos as a batch to what ever size you wish. In my case I resize them to 2560 x 1440 which fills my 27" monitor and reduces the file size of each picture from 2MB or 3MB down to about 450 KB without degrading the picture as far as what you see on the screen.
This program will also within the same batch operation, allow you to sort the pictures by "Date Taken" which is the Date and Time the picture was taken. It gets this information from the EXIF data in the jpg file. This program will then rename the files with different numbering format options including date, time, alphanumberic and with just simple numbers starting at what ever number you wish to start with. I can get files that look like this again "IMG_0001.jpg" and have all the pictures in the correct order that they were taken. At this point, I save the pictures directly to a folder on my PC. The cool thing about this is, all the EXIF data is preserved as well. I can process a 100 pictures in less that 60 seconds. I hope this helps. For me, I can now live with this iCloud numbering defect. -
Photo Stream pictures "cannot be loaded".
New Photo Streams, as well as old ones, are fine on my computer using Aperture, but when visited on the web by myself and others I share with, a gray screen with an exclamation mark appears instead of the photo, saying photo "cannot be loaded." It was there yesterday! They were there 3 months ago! What gives?
There is a long discussion since few days with similar problems. It looks like a problem with Apple's servers:

HT201317 Photo Stream pics haven't "loaded" yet. Why?
A friend added photos to an album we share on photo stream, but many of the pics keep saying "loading" for two days now. Why haven't they fully loaded yet?
If you enabled photo stream on it at a later point it time, it's probably because photo stream photos only remain in iCloud for 30 days (even though the last 1000 photos will remain on your devices until deleted). If any photo stream photos were older than 30 days when you enable photo stream on the 2nd computer, it would not have received them as they were no longer in iCloud.

HT201317 How come my photo stream no longer updates photos automotically?
My phone no longer updates photos which I take automotically and the settings have not changed. I've also deleted many photos in my photostream so there's definitely enough room. My phone and laptop are also connected to wifi and icloud is on.. Can't figure out why this isn't working..
You might have to go to Settings>iCloud and turn photo stream off, then back on to get it working again. To avoid losing any photos in the process, open your my photo stream album, tap Edit, tap the photos you want to keep, tap Share, tap Save to Camera Roll. When you turn photo stream back on, you will only get photos added in the last 30 days. Older photos are removed from your photo stream (even though they will remain on your device until deleted or you turn photo stream off).
Also, photos are only added to photo stream when you are connected to wifi, the camera app is closed and you have at least 20% battery life remaining. -
HT204053 apple tv photo stream no longer works
After updating the apple tv software I can no longer access my photo stream. No matter how many times I log in I am directed to www.apple.com/support/icloud. Can any one tell me what I did wrong?
You're not alone coabra. There seems to be some problem regarding this in the latest software version of the Apple TV. Read more about it here.

Photo Stream no longer saves Mon/Year folder?
iPhoto used to save each photo from Photo Stream into a month/year folder. After update to 10.10.3, it appears that is no longer the case? I had an Apr 2015 Photo Stream folder and the photos are no longer being saved there.

Find pictures at Photo Stream, for longer than 30 days ago?
Are there any possibilities to find pictures from my (lost) iPhone at Photo Stream, that are taken for longer than 30 days ago?
The photos you upload to My Photo Stream are stored in iCloud for 30 days.
Do you have iCloud & Photo Stream set up on your computer?
Otherwise, no.
