Photo Stream Not Uploading Movies

I don't shoot a lot of movies on my iPhone, but I just realized the movies I do shoot are not being synchronized to my devices via PhotoStream.
Is there a setting to enable this somewhere?

Really? Any idea where that's documented?
Doesn't really make sense. Photostream requires wifi to upload, so its not like the movie file would be probibitively large. So I have to manually upload movies ... To where? E-mail them to myself to get them on all of my devices? and then e-mail will not support full quality or length.
Sounds like there is no way to back them up, at least not automatically or via iCloud. And YouTube seems to be the only option for sharing it, which doesn't do much toward getting a movie to my other devices.
Surely this can't be right ...

Try a Restart.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.

You can also try resetting all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will have to enter all of your device settings again.... All of the settings in the settings app will have to be re-entered. You won't lose any data, but it takes time to enter all of the settings again.

Or if this doesn't work and nobody else on the blog doesn't have a better idea you can contact Apple.

Hi All - I have a PC using Windows Vista. Not all of my photos in My Photo Stream are uploading automatically as they are supposed to. Only some of them will load. It is very sporadic. How can I get all photos to upload to My Photo Stream? Thanks for any help!

It sounds like you are using Photos, not iPhoto, since iCloud Photo Library isn't available in iPhoto.

Photos in photo stream not uploading to PC

The photos in the photo stream on my phone are not uploading to my Windows 7 PC. I have checked the iCloud settings to make sure I am using the same account, which I am. I have checked the upload and download directories but can't find them there. I can see that the photos I take are being sent from the Camera Roll to the Photo Stream album on my phone, but they're not automatically uploading to my PC. I have PhotoStream turned on everywhere it should be turned on. I've even turned it off and reset it, only to have the same set of photos show up, but not the newest ones. I have plugged my phone into my computer to try to view & copy the photos from there, but I can't even see them there. What is happening? Thanks, Joni

Photo Stream not uploading unless photos app is open

I am having issues with Photo Stream. According to Apple--
"On an iOS device, new photos you take will be automatically uploaded to your Photo Stream when you leave the Camera app and are connected to Wi-Fi. Note: Photo Stream does not push photos over cellular connections."
That is fine BUT I took 20+ pictures with my iPhone, came home and of course connected to my WiFi. None of the photos were uploaded. Several hours later I realized this and opened "photos" then they started uploading. So I hit the home button to exit photos and the upload stopped. Apparently the way this is now it is NOT HAPPENING AUTOMATICALLY I have to sit there with my photos app open and wait until it is finished.
Not Cool! Any Ideas?

Photo stream not uploading

My photostream isnt uploading any new photos that i have imported on my macbook. I have it set to autoupdate and it says in the top right corner of photo stream that its uploading 756 photos but nothing ever happens and the little turning wheel next to the icon on the sidebar in iphoto doesnt turn or anything.
anyone got any tips?? I have tried turning on manual upload back to auto upload. my ipad uploads to it fine but not my macbook anymore.
Also my iphoto wont seem to upload to facebook either . if you select 90 photos to upload it will tell you its uploading but will only do about 7 of them and then just keep attempting to upload forever then freezes.

Disable Photo Stream in the System/iCloud preference pane
and in iPhoto's Photo Share preference pane.
Reboot and reenable both respectively. That should jump start Photo Stream.
If you have a mobile device that isn't seeing the new photos do the same on it, i.e. turn off Photo Stream and then turn it back on.

Photo Stream not uploading enhanced photos

I don't know if any of you have experienced this but all the photos on Photo Stream that are downloaded onto my computer are those that have yet to be auto-enhanced. Those auto-enhanced photos look superb on the iPhone 4S but strangely only the unenhanced versions are synced to iCloud. Any ideas why? To add on, this is not just happening to Photo Stream, but all other apps such as Facebook cannot access the edited versions as well. Is this a bug or is it intentional?

I have the same problem. Iphone and Ipad both can sync photos between them.
But not icloud 2.0 application on my windows 7 pc.
Whenever I open icloud app, it have photo stream option unchecked.
I check it back, nothing happens. It is unchecked again upon next start or application opening.
I already tried rebooting pc and logout/login from icloud application.
Clicking Parameters in photo stream does not open anything.

Photo Stream only Uploading Some Photos

Has anyone else noticed this? If I take a picture on my iPhone 5, sometimes it shows in my camera roll and in Photo Stream. Sometimes, it only shows in my camera roll. Likewise, the Photo Stream library on my iPad 4 isn't picking up the new photos from my iPhone 5. The problem seems a little intermittent. Some photo upload fine, but I've had several that don't for some reason.
Any ideas?

Photo stream not updating from camera

I've been having a days worth of trouble with my iphone camera. Pictures are in the camera roll but never move to the photo stream. If I connect the phone to my mac, and import the pictures into iphoto and THEN into photo stream, the pictures show up. This is not how stream is supposed to work. Any thoughts? I've turned the cloud settings on and off, the stream never fully syncs.

I don't see photos in My Photo Stream on my iOS device.
From the Home screen, tap Settings > Wi-Fi. Make sure that Wi-Fi is turned on and your device is connected to a wireless network. If necessary, troubleshoot your Internet connection on your iOS device.
Ensure that the Camera app is closed on the device that took the photo. Photos will not upload from an iOS device to My Photo Stream until the Camera app is closed.
Ensure that your iOS device has not fallen below 20% battery power. To preserve battery life, Photo Stream downloading and uploading are disabled when the battery reaches this threshold. Downloading and uploading will resume once you charge your device and the battery charge is greater than 20%.

Photo stream not updating in aperture

I import all my photos through the import tool in Aperture. I'm noticing that the photos are not uploading via wifi to my photo stream. Even if i select the photos once in Aperture and click the 'photo stream' button on the top toolbar, most of the pics never upload. I dont see them on my ipad, itouch or iphone. I've checked the user preferences in Aperture and have checked off the little box beside send to photo stream. But still, nothing. Incase it matters, i shoot everything on a canon 5D and Rebel XTI in RAW+Jpeg. I ingest both RAW and Jpeg when importing to aperture and have set RAW as the master file when importing. Can someone help out here?

I was able to force a download of my photostream by disabling Automatic Import and Automatic Upload in Preferences>Photostream.

Importing photos from Photo Stream not working properly

I've been trying to work out a way to import photos on my iMac and have Photo Stream push them to my MacBook so they end up in the same Event on both computers. If I have Automatic Upload turned on, the photos I import on my iMac get uploaded to Photo Stream before I get a chance to place them into my intended Event. So I tried turning Auto Upload off, importing photos, placing them into their proper Event, turning Auto Upload back on, and then dragging them to Photo Stream to upload them.
First, it seems like there should be an easier way. But also unfortunately, even though Help in iPhoto 11 (9.2) seems to say this should work (see below), my photos end up in my MacBook's Photo Stream folder, but not in the Event (with Automatic Import turned on on my MacBook). This is what is written in the Help documentation -
Note: If iPhoto automatically imports a Photo Stream photo that was originally uploaded from a different iPhoto library, or from an Aperture library, iPhoto adds the photo to the Event that matches the one in the original library. If a matching Event isn’t in the destination library, iPhoto creates a new Event with the same name.
I wasn't able to find the photos anywhere in my MacBook Events. As indicated in the note above, they should have been automatically placed in a matching Event of the iMac's library. Any help is much appreciated.

Ever since I went to the cloud all of my new photos have show up in photo stream. I had hoped it would sync and update the events in Photos, no luck. I also uploaded a numbers document to iWork and and could only access it through Safari. The only option I had to actually open it on my iPad was 'open in iBooks'. Really! There's been other occasions of rocky starts so I hope iCloud improves. It has too.

My phone photos are not uploaded automatically to my PC

I am using an iPhone 5 and an iPad Air both running on IOS 8.1. The iCloud version I am using is 4.0.3.56 (latest version at the moment).
iCould used to upload all my new photos to the "PhotoStream" folder in my PC but is not working anymore. I tried to uninstall iCloud and it does works for a moment but not very long. The next day when I took some new photos or someone sent me some new photos, these photos are not uploaded into my PC.
I found a solution on this communities. The solution was like 1 or 2 years ago, asking to install the older version of the iCloud. I have tried it but is not working either. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance !

I am unable to upload photos from my events to my icloud photostream. I have reset the photostream and I still show "uploading X photos" in upper right of iphoto window while in the icloud tab in iphoto. photos will not upload. I am also unable to move pictures into icloud on any of my devices. (iphone 5 & 2nd gen ipad) will appreciate any and all help to cure my photostream problem. Thank you.

The set up is quite basic, actually extremely basic. I am just using my mac and an iPad to play notes on and using the installed synths that came with the program.
I have 17 different tracks on this piece of music with some of them using the same noise on multiple tracks to play diffent riffs.
If I try and open a new track with let's say for exame the standard piano. Try to record a part. It plays though the system but will not record even though the timing no is red.
I can send you a screen shot later today if needed. My other optioni think is to copy all of the parts into a new project and start again.
