Photo Stream on web

Hi, is there some place where I can see my photos from Photo Stream on the web? Or just on my iOS devices and Mac?

The URL for the public Photo Share is in the Info tray for that PS:
Click on that link which will take you to the PS web page where you can copy the full URL or Command (right) - click  on the link in iPhoto and select "Copy Link in the contextual menu.

  • How do I organise photos in my shared photo stream (public web link)

I have created a shared photo stream as a public web link and sent the link to some peopls to view it. I intend adding photos to it over time, for them to see.
When I (or they) look at the photostream via the web site link, the photos have automatically been arranged, ordered and cropped in not necessaroily the way I would want. Is there a way I can change the layout that these photos are presented in ?
    Thanks for any ideas.

    You are welcome!
That is a shame that we can't change the layout. Oh well!
I am hoping for future improvements You may want to send a feature request to Apple - the more, the merrier!

  • ICloud Shared Photo Streams on Web only Public ?

When enabling the public Web Site option for a Photo Stream set, is the web site accessible to anyone with the link ?
Is there a way to restric access only to a subset of people ?

WARNING! Sharing a Photostream publicly on the web via iCloud will make the images viewable to anyone with the link. Apparently no access restriction is applied wen sharing on web.

  • HT201077 Viewing shared photo stream in web browser in slide show mode

The pictures in my photo stream used to fill the whole web page when in slide show view
now they sit in the middle of the page surrounded by a black boarder.
Can this behaviour be changed back to full page display?

If you are using iOS 7, open the Photos app on your iPhone, tap Shared at the bottom, tap Edit at the top, then tap the icon next to the album you want to delete.  If you only want to delete selected photos in it, tap the album, tap Select at the top, tap the photos you want to delete, then tap the trash icon at the bottom.

  • HT4890 How can I publish my photos which are stored on iPhoto or on iCloud Photo Stream from Web?

Before I could publish my photos with Mobile Me from iPhoto but how can I do it with iCloud?

    Welcome to the Apple community.
Unfortunately, that is not possible from a Mac as yet. You can do this from the iPhoto app on an iOS device though and publish your photos to a photo journal. Hopefully this feature will be coming to iPhoto on the Mac at some point.

  • Can't see shared photo streams in Aperture

I have created a number of photo streams and shared them with my wife.
My wife has accepted the streams and can see them on her iPhone.
She uses Aperture on the Mac but cannot see the streams there.
She has the three checkboxes on the photo streams tab checked, and her own photo stream is visible.
Under the web section in the Aperture library browser, photo stream doesn't appear - her Facebook entry shows up, but not photo stream.
Photo stream shows in the recent section of the library browser, but that is just the photos in my wife's own photo stream, you don't see the individual streams that I can see under photo stream under web in my Aperture view.
My wife has photo stream checked in settings -> iCloud on her Mac.
    Any suggestions?

I attach four screenshots Yann - one is the project hierarchy - where you'll see PhotoStream appearing in Recent items, but not under the Web section (where you do see Facebook) and the other the preferences pane for PhotoStream in Aperture showing all three boxes checked.
Attachments one and two are from my wife's computer - where she's not seeing shared PhotoStreams.
Attachments three and four are from my computer - we I do see them.
What I notice when I compare these side by side is that there is a difference in the setting panel for photo stream between the two.  Mine has a fourth option for shared photo streams - my wife's doesn't.
Yet both s/w versions for Aperture are 3.4.5.  There is a difference in what is listed in the Aperture version after the version number, but both computers are fully up to date with no further updates available.  (Final two images first my wife's then my s/w version)
    Is your view/settings any different?

  • Can I access my photo stream from the web to share it?

I cannot determine whether and how I can share my photo stream with other people through the web. Am I limited in accessing photostream to my own computer, iPhone, and Apple TV???

You can't share Photo Stream via the web, only on your own computer and iOS devices.

  • My photo stream web page is in the wrong order

I've been using the photo stream to share photos with family via the web link. Until today, it was working perfectly. Today, the order of the photos suddenly rearranged themselves with no action on my end. I haven't uploaded any photos in several days. The order of the photos is correct on my phone, which is even more confusing.

Is there anything else I could try.
Not sure. I would likely test an x264 export of the image sequence from QT 7 Pro or MPEG Streamclip (or from HandBrake if your system is not configured with the x264 codec) and see if the result was any better. This is not a problem I run into very often and, even then, the files were sent to me with no real indication of how they were originally encoded.
Or do you know how I can analise the exported file?
Not really... but it would be nice to have a tool which indicated the current frame type and listed pointers to frames/stacks of frames used for rendering reference.

  • Photo stream is showing up in iphoto recent but not web and I am not able to join the shared photo stream.  all of my software is updated.  can someone tell me how to get photo stream in the web source list? thanks!

Can someone help me get Photo Stream to appear under Web in the iPhoto Source List? I have updated all my software.  iPhoto 11, Mac OS X 10.7.5  All of my preferences are checked.  I am able to see the shared Photo Stream on my iPad, but not my Mac.  The Mac iPhoto photos from the shared photo stream are appearing in the Photo Stream (under Recent), but I thought they would appear as a shared Photo Stream in its own file/album (like on the iPad and iPhone)  - labeled with the shared Photo Stream's title.  Is this supposed to happen on the Mac?  Thanks!

So you are saying for it to do what i want: shared photo stream to appear in web then i need to upgrade.
    Yes
Does that mean i purchase the new software an it's not just an update?
    Yes
Your profile indicates your running 10.7.5.  For shared Photo Streams you need to be running 10.8.2 or later: The following is from  iCloud: Photo Stream FAQ
What do I need to use Photo Stream?
To use Photo Stream, including Shared Photo Streams, you need an iCloud account, compatible devices, and up-to-date software:  iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iOS 6.0 or later Mac with OS X Mountain Lion v10.8.2 or later and iPhoto 9.4 or Aperture 3.4 or later
So you'll need to upgrade to Mt. Lion.
iPhoto requirements are free updates for iPhoto '11

  • Photo Stream allowing images to be downloaded when viewed on web

I have created a photo stream with Aperature 3.4 and sent it to a freind that doesn't have a icloud account. When he receives the email and clicks on the Web link to view the images it works fine. He then clicks on the image to view it in the player and at the bottom there is a download button and he can then save it on his machine. I would like for people to see my images but not download them. Is this possible or should I find a better solution. Im worried about using it and having people steal my images that are copyrighted.
    Thanks Ken

If that were solely the case, then why are there "public" photostream galleries available?
Do you have to ask? The public streams are for showing off your public photos to everybody, if you do not care who will be viewing them.
Shared streams, only viewable by carefully selected few persons are great to send your family photos to your relatives or photos from special events to your friends. And in this case you will want them to be able to download the photos.
The option to disable downloads should be provided, regardless.
That does not help much. You can always make a screenshot. A watermark will give more protection.

  • So I've never noticed this before, but when I was using iPhoto today I saw a "Web" tab to the left column with my Photo Stream album under it. Is that normal, and does that mean my photos in my Photo Stream are being shared on the web?

If so, how do I delete the Web tab? Or is that just normal for when I'm using photo stream on my iphone? Thanks in advance!

I just fired up iPhoto and I've the same Web>PhotoStream tab - and I don't even own an iOS device. But I do have PhotoStream active under iCloud and see a dozen or so pics that I've added in the last couple of months.
Go to System Preferences>iCloud>PhotoStream and click on the 'options' button - you should be able to see the option to share or not to share. This may be a more appropriate question for the iPhoto or iPhone forums, though... unless someone else comes along that does have an iOS device.
    Good luck,
    Clinton

  • How to copy photos from iPad that don't appear when plugged in to PC or in web based Photo Stream?

    Hi all,
Got a real doozy of a problem.  Had a load of photographs on an iPhone 5 which synchronised via Photo Stream onto our iPad. iPhone 5 has just stopped working due to water damage and we've lost access to the photos.  However, the photos we have lost all come up under Photo Stream on the iPad. We need to copy these photos off so I plugged the iPad into our laptop and navigated to the images through Explorer but they weren't there. So I the added the iCloud control panel to our laptop and browsed to Photos folder and clicked on Photo Stream and there are about 350 photos in there but about 600 on the iPad.  I really need to get these photos back an just can't find a way of getting them back.  Would really appreciate some help please.
    Thanks
    Adam

The photo stream server only keeps photos up to 30 days.  Once on a device's photo stream album, they stay there until you delete them on the device or turn off photo stream.  In your case, when you turned on photo stream on the PC, you only got what was available from the server, the older ones have been deleted.
Now, about the ipad.  In it's photo stream, you can view each photo, the icons at the bottom of the view screen includes a box with arrow coming out of it (on my iphone, the icon is at the bottom left).  When you tap that icon, you then get a choice to save to Camera Roll.  What you need to do is save all the photos you no longer have on the PC from the ipad's photo stream to Camera Roll.  This could take time.
Once these are in camera roll, sync the photos from the ipad to your computer.
