Photo Streaming stopped at photo 523

Hi guys,
I just purchased an AppleTV and apparently everything's working just fine, except for photo streaming. I updated to the latest AppleTV software and I was very happy to see my streaming photos on iCloud appearing on my flatscreen. But then after a while the photos stopped loading. Aren't there supposed to be 1000 of your latest uploaded iPhotos? Mine stopped at photo number 523. Is there a way to "force" the device to continue loading the rest of the pictures?
Thanks a lot in advance

Odd.   I don't actually use Photostream as I wouldn't want my content being automatically available on AppleTV as my recent photos may contain a mixture of family/personal/business content I wouldn't want aired to anyone.
Does AppleTV present all photos as options to view in a grid/slideshow to you - it does have finite memory which can be allocated to Photostream - I don't know if Photostream uploads full res versions or lower quality lower res like MobileMe galleries tends to, but if you have large original files it might be too much for the unit.  More likely it's a glitch or software bug.
Sorry I can't give a concrete answer.

My Photo Stream is no longer adding photos to iCloud for PC WINDOWS 7. any idea why?

    Hi,
I have the same problem in that all of a sudden, photos taken on my I Pad 6 and IPhone IOS 8 cease to appear on my "my photo stream ' ( M-P-S) in my pictures file in my PC -windows 8.
I cloud photo Beta is disengaged and did not affect the uploading when photos were appearing in M P S.
The fact that photos taken now  are still being uploaded on the other IOS confirms that Icloud is working?
The problem seems to relate to M -P     -S on the PC?
Does anybody else have the same problem and a solution?

iCloud shared photo stream stopped working since the last OX update with the new photo app.  I don't have access anymore to the sharing albums, even those that I own
Don't the albums show at all?
Are you signed in  with the same Apple ID that you used with iCloud before?  And are you currently browsing the System Photos Library? Only one Photos library, enabled as the System Photos library can sync with iCloud.
For me it helped to disable iCloud Photo sharing in the System Preferences > iCloud > Photos > Options
and in the Photos. app Preferences < iCloud.
Then restart the Mac and enable the same Preferences again.
    And wait.
The Shared albums came slowly back and were all back after one day.

  • Photo stream stopped working after update

Installed the 6.0.1 update on my 4s and all of a sudden Photostream stopped working. It did work for two or three days after the update but then stopped. The iCloud panel on my pc is grayed out. The phone itself has everything regarding Photostream turned on. Any suggestions besides restarting Photostream and losing the photos already in there? I am running Windows 8 on the PC...(Piece of CR*P)

You have probably enabled iCloud Drive on one of your mobile devices after upgrading to iOS 8. Then "documents in the cloud" will no longer work. Unfortunately, the upgrade to iCloud Drive cannot be undone. You'll have to wait for Yosemite.
See this link: Be aware, be careful, be prepared for iCloud Drive | TUAW: Apple news, reviews and how-tos since 2004
    And this:  iCloud Drive FAQ
While you are waiting for the Yosemite release you could sync your iWork documents with Dropbox.
    As to My Photo Stream:
The new Photos.app stores the photos differently. There is no longer a Camera Roll, and My Photo Stream is no longer visible as a separate album. You will find the Photo Stream photos in the "Recently Added" album.
See this Help text on how to access the Photos in iOS 8:

  • 9.4.1 Shared Photo Streams - my Photo Stream stopped functioning altogether

I've been experiencing unexplained problems with the Shared Photo Stream feature. After creating a new shared photo stream and adding a couple of photos to it iPhoto shows the number of shared pictures as 0. I eventually managed to get an album shared with iPhoto 9.4 a couple of weeks ago after creating and deleting a shared stream a couple of times. Today I decided to created another shared stream using iPhoto 9.4.1, left the 'Share with' empty, enabled public sharing, added a couple of photos and voilà, same problem. Only worse this time around. I'm getting the following messages in the Console:
    25. 10. 12 22:15:41,262 PhotoStreamAgent[282]: <MSASStateMachine: 0xYYYYYYYYYYY>: Encountered error: NSURLError:

I tried disabling and reenabling the Photo Stream option in iCloud settings - seems it made it even worse, now I'm unable to access even the basic Photo Stream, let alone the shared ones!!! I tried resetting the Photo Stream via iCloud control panel on www.icloud.com, no effect... I switched to my MacBook, enabled the Photo Stream - same errors on both my iMac and MacBook. I am beginning to wonder whether first-gen iPad with iOS 5 connected to the same iCloud account could be causing problems. I disabled its Photo Stream, reset the Photo Stream again, no effect . Anybody experiencing similar problems?

Try logging out of your iCloud account in the System/iCloud preference pane and then log back in and try again.  If that doesn't help launch iPhoto with the Option key held down and create a new, test library.  Import some photos and check to see if the same problem persists.
If it does log into another user account on your Mac and try there.  All this is to try to narrow down where the problem is originating, your library, user account or the iCloud account itself. This is a first but I'm sure that's not very reassuring to you at this time.

  • Does photo stream distribute also photos saved on iOS device?

I have several photos taken by another iPhone and sent to my iPhone via email or whatsapp. I see them on my iPhone but not on my iPAD.

That is because saved photos go to the Camera Roll, not to PhotoStream. Only photos taken with your device go to PhotoStream.
You can create a Shared PhotoStream album if you want to share photos not taken with the device:
To create a Shared Photo Stream, launch the Photos app on your iOS device, and select the Photo Stream option at the bottom of the screen. In the upper-left corner is a + sign; tap on it. Enter the iCloud e-mail address of the person (or people) you'd like to share your album with. Enter a name for the album.
    Cheers,

  • TS3989 Photo Stream has 500+ photos on computer but only 11 come up on Apple TV

Photo Stream has 500+ photos on computer but only 11 come up on Apple TV

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
Photostream in the cloud only keeps photos from the last 30 days (subject to a 1,000 photo limit). When photostream syncs the photos to your device they will stay there until deleted, which means you may well have more photos in your photostream album on your device than there are in photostream in the cloud.
