Photo streaming synch problem.
Today has appear an "unknow" picture on mi iPhone 4's streaming folder (IOS 6.1), I suppose this picture was downloaded to my iPad (wifi+3G IOS 5.1) and then deleted from the camera roll and the streaming (because it's any more). Both devices are using the same apple ID and have photo streaming enable.
The iPad is always conected to the wifi home network and my phone just every night when I arrive from the office. So, I've no idea how this picture was pushed to my phone, I mean... If that photo was deleted from the iPad when the iPhone was not able to reach a wifi network, why is it on the iPhone?. Let's suppose that the iPhone found a wifi network during that period of time when the picture was present in the iPad and it was pushed to the iPhone, then the picture was deleted from the ipad when the iPhone was not conected to the wifi network, so it suppose when I arrived to home and the iPhone reached the home network the photo streaming should have to be updated, I mean it shuld be delete, but it doesn't happened.
What is happening? Why there is in the iPhone streaming folder a picture that is any more in the iPad? When they suppose must to remain synched.
Please Help!!! I need to explain to my wife why is that picture in there, if I don't... I have a big big problem.
Best regards.

WWhy don't my photos in photo stream synch between my iPad 2 and iPhone 6 Plus and vice versa?

My Photo Stream FAQ - Apple Support -
I have tried this in iPhoto and Aperture, but my photo stream is not uploaded. All the photos are visible in WEB/Photostream, but they don't appear on my iOS devices.
And when I want to make these photos public in Aperture, to make them visible for anyone, the √ vanishes a second after I hit the checkbox.
Flickr stream pix do not show up either although the account looks OK.
Looks as if something was blocking Aperture's traffic, but I have nothing of that kind installed. In System Settings, Photo Stream is enabled, of course.
Thanks a lot for a good idea!
PeterI understand that. The problem is that the photos stay put on Photo Stream on the iPhone after being removed from Photo Stream in iPhoto. Once a photo reaches it's "due date" it should be removed from iCloud and subsequently from all synchronised devices. This does not happen, it is removed from some but not others. Right now I have 243 photos on iPhoto Stream and 271 in iPhone stream. How come?

When deleting photos in Photo Stream from my 4s or iPad 1, it used to delete universally from all devices. I added my apple tv, and now it says "This photo will be removed only from the Photo Stream on this (iPhone or iPad)." how do I get the universal delete back? This problem makes managing photos for the Apple tv Photo Stream screen saver difficult.
I should add that I signed out of Photo Stream on the apple tv, still have only local delete on all my devices.

Photo stream refuses to remove older photos from my iPhone. The iCloud Photo Stream service is supposed to keep photos on your devices for 30 days and then delete them. This works fine in iPhoto on my iMac, where photos duly disappear from the Photo Stream folder one monthe after they were taken. But it does not seem to work on my iPhone, older photos are just stuck there, even after they were removed from iPhoto Stream folder. Right now I have 280 photos in Photo Stream on iPhoto and some 730 in Photo Stream on the iPhone. This is not supposed to be possible. The only way to remove these "stuck photos" is to switch Photo Stream on the iPhone off and on again, foricng it download photos from iCloud anew. But this is hardly a practical solution.
The service works fine in the other sense, ie, photos taken on one device are synchronised and appear on other devices. It is just that, once added to the iPhone, photos are not removed automatically after 30 days.
Anyone having similar problems and / or an idea for a solution?I understand that. TS3989 photo stream download problem
My daughter is e-mailing me inviting me to join her photo stream, but her e-mail isn't coming to my phone (all my other e-mails are), it is just coming to my computer, then when I forward it to myself, it comes to my phone and try to join, it says this photo stream is no longer shared. What is wrong? My other daughter invited me to join hers, and it went smoothly.

Bug in iPads Photo Stream?
Hi,
I have a problem with my iPad 2's Photo Stream (the problem does not occur on my iPhone 4S): when I open Photos and switch to Photo Stream most of the times it is empty. If I open a foto app which can access pictures in Fotostream (e.g., Photogene), start to open a photo (Edit New) and choose "Photo Stream", I can see all the pictures in the Photo Stream. Then I can close the app, open Photos again, switch to Photo Stream, then all the photos in Photo Stream are there.
This definitely is a bug!
Anyone else has this problem?Looks like, this is definitely a bug. See here.

Temporarily turn off photo stream without losing pictures
Hi, I have photo stream turned on my iphone. I recently took a huge load of pictures and I want to review it on bigger screen and delete some. To airplay on bigger screen, I need to turn on wifi on my iphone to be on the same wifi network as my apple TV. however, as soon as I turn on wifi, my iphone will start uploading every picture (even the crap ones) to icloud and push to all my other devices, which I don't want to see happen... When i try to turn photo stream off in my iphone -> settings, it warn me that all my photo stream pictures will be deleted.... why is it so hard to temporarily disable photo stream synching? or am i missing an obvious way? thanks!
Because there is no "temporarily" turning Photo Stream off.

Some pictures not synching on photo stream
I'm having a problem witht the photo stream. For some reason, of the 25 or so photos I have taken on my iphone, a few do not get synched to the Photo Stream. I've tried resetting PS (ie turning it off and then back on again) but the same few pictures keep getting left out. Any ideas what could be causing this?
Update: I dragged one of the photos that hadn't imported to one of my Photo Albums in iPhoto on my Mac. When I do this, the photo appears in the album, but when I select Show Event, it takes me to that monthly Photo Stream event but the photo isn't there. It's almost like these photos are hidden within the event the Photo Stream generates per month, but that event lists no hidden photos. I'm not even sure how I could get these photos in my library manually in a place that I could find them in the future!

I upgraded to mountain lion on my Mac mini then I tried to open a photo stream from my daughter. It tries then says there is a problem and to try again later. I have Been trying for the past two days and get the same reply. It opens in my IPAD so why won't it open on the mini Mac ?
You turn on Photo Stream in iPhoto's Photo Stream preference pane:
Check the box "Automatic Upload" to add every photo imported into the library to the Photo Stream. Or leave it unchecked and manually add just selected photos to the stream by dragging them onto the Photo Stream heading in the left hand pane.

Can anyone help me. I have iPhoto 9.2 and Mac OS X 10.7.2.
Every time I open iPhoto 9.2 and try to go to photo stream iPhoto quits unexpectedly. When I reopen I get "iPhoto has detected inconsistencies in your library. Please click Repair to avoid any potential problems."
I have read plenty of the posts on the subject and it seems that deleting the "3ivx" fixed the problem. I looked at the detaied reports and see where it says "
Library/Application Support/3ivx" etc..
On my report it says "/Library/Application Support/iLifeMediaBrowser/*/iLMBiPhoto8Plugin". Does this help with an answer?I am also having this crashing problem. I am running lion on a 2010 mac mini. My iPhoto library is kept on an external drive. I just upgraded to iPhoto 11 and everytime I try to enable photo stream the app crashes. I have tried all the above suggestions, including re-installing iphoto from the Mac App store. Below are the first 50 lines of the error message. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi all - I really need your help.
My iPhoto '11 was working just fine until I upgraded it to 9.4.3. I also just installed the recent system upgrade. Now I am having multiple problems. It seems to stem from Photo Stream. Activity Monitor shows that Photo Stream is using up gobs of CPU which is strange since it is supposed to not be working...
In iPhoto, under the preferences, it shows that Photo Stream is not enabled. If I check the box to turn it on, it just unchecks itself just as quickly. But in the system preferences, it shows that Photo Stream is set up just fine. Photo Stream is certainly not working. And it seem to be totally screwing up iPhoto. I have tried multiple iPhoto fix options (option alt fixes, restoring a backup library, uninstalling then reinstalling iPhoto) with no improvement.
I'm not sure if the problem is coming from iPhoto or iCloud Photo Stream problems. I am running OSX 10.8.4 on a 3.4 GHz Intel Core i7.
Can anyone tell me what to do? Thank you so much!Well Old Toad, I am stumped.
I double checked and logged out of iCloud in both user accounts and made sure that PS was not enabled on either library. Then I restarted the computer. I went back to my main user account (second account set up = non administrator account) and to my main iPhoto library, logged into iCloud, tried turing on PS = did not work.
If I do the exact same thing as above for a restore of a backup of my library = does not work.
If I do the exact same thing above but log in with my first account (not my main one but it is the admin account on the computer) and access the test library I created = PS works just fine with no problem.
It seems the problem with PS is limited to my primanry account (non-admin). Do you think the admin privaledges difference between the two accounts could be the problem...?
As always, I am thankful for your time and advice. -
Hi all,
I have an apple tv 3rd, and I just upgraded to version 6, the fact is that I will photo streaming and I get the page of the license acceptance, I give all the time to "accept" and I do not do anything stays at that screen all the time. I've rebooted several times but does the same, the license screen does not disappear.
Anyone know what might be happening with the previous version did not have that problem, I could see the pictures of the iphone without any problem.
ThanksTake a look here, this should solve your problem immediately:

Sending an username and a password with SSL but without Authentication
Hi, I've read several threads about this topic but I'm still confused. I need to send a login and a password in a more or less secure way (not sending it in the get/post and not using a base64 encoding), but I don't want authentication, just to send
