Photo strem-icloud problem

I need help changing the email on my icloud account. When I went to the Apple store, the associate helped me change my Apple ID email and everything to my current one, and when I go to "System Preferences" and my Apple account it all shows the new email, but when I try to open up my photo stream with icloud, it asks me for my password, but automaticlly has my OLD email as the Apple ID and wont let me change it to the new one; resulting in me not being able to use photo stream or icloud. Please help!

Photostream isn't part of your iCloud storage allocation, so it can't be telling you your photos are still available.
If the photos in your camera roll were backed up, they may be in your storage allocation, you'd need to restore your device to recover them.

I had a problem with my 4s battery so i took it to an apple store and they replaced the phone. However they had me backup my photos in icloud because i was goingto lose them otherwise. So now my question is how do i get my photos back?

Problem with downloading photo from iCloud to iPhone's Photo Stream

Hi Apple Support,
I have two apple device, one iPad and one iPhone. For iPad, I turned on 'My Photo Stream' and 'Shared Photo Streams' function before, but iPhone not, and I installed iCloud client at my Win7 PC, so any photos which created by iPad will upload to iCloud and iCould will post them to my Win7 PC, it's perfect!
But.. Here is the problem, I turned on 'My Photo Stream' and 'Shared Photo Streams' function at my iPhone now as well, however the previously photos which created by iPad cannot download to my iPhone's 'Photo Stream', thats mean I cannot download any old photo from iCloud to iPhone's Phone Stream, can I know is this a problem or not? Thanks!
AFAIK, Microsoft's Skydrive could download any files from cloud to end user's device, cant Apple make it as well?

Photo stream photos only remain in iCloud for 30 days, even though a rolling collection of up to 1000 photos will remain on your devices until deleted. When you enabled photo stream on your phone you would have only received photos added to photo stream in the last 30 days, as older photos are no longer in iCloud.
If you want to get your older photos from your iPad to your iPhone, you can either import them to your computer and sync them to your phone, or use an app like PhotoSync or Bump to transfer them.

Problem with transfer photos from iCloud to Aperture

Hi, I have a problem with APERTURE. I Can't transfer a photos from iCloud to project of Aperture. I have Macboook Pro 15, model 8,2 with MAC OS X Maverick and Aperture 3.5.1. Who can help me ? Many thanx.

If I want to work them I have to transport these photos to some folder or project in aperture but unurtenetly It doesn't work.
Now I see. You should be able to drag any image from your photo stream to a project (not to a folder).

I am running 10.9.4. on an older Mac (mid 2007). My iPhoto is 7.1.5. I have no access to photos on iCloud. The icon does not even appear. I've been told that an iPhoto upgrade may not solve problem. Advice?

All you need to do is upgrade your iPhoto to iPhoto 9.5.1 thru the App Store. This screenshot shows which previous versions of iPhoto are compatible with Mavericks. It also indicates which versions qualify for a free upgrade to iPhoto 9.5.1 and which require a purchase:
Note 1: every day more users are reporting problems with iPhoto 8.1.2 so I've included it in the non compatible category.
Note 2: If your previous version of iPhoto was iPhoto 7 (08) or earlier you'll need to download and run the iPhoto Library Upgrader 1.1 application on the library before opening it with iPhoto 9.5.1

Problems on uploading photos to iCloud photo library

I had a problem on uploading photos to the iCloud photo library yesterday.
It shows that my mac is uploading my photos to iCloud but the numbers have stuck for days, I checked my WIFI and rebooted my mac for two times but it still didnt work.
I also turned on iCloud photo library on my iPad air and, similarly, the numbers still stayed the same....

There is probably maintenance work going on. Today I go continually warnings, that the photos cannot be found, when I tried to access iCloud Photo Library (Beta) from the iCloud page. Other threads reported, that the iCloud Photo Library (Bata) page was continually stuck on updating.
It is still a Beta service after all, accessional undergoing updating and reconstruction.

I'm assuming you have Photo Stream set up of both devices. However, it seems many users are experiencing the same as you - my take is that streaming photos is not foolproof yet.

I'm trying to create space on my ipad by moving photos to icloud

I Spent hours yesterday backing up everything to icloud. Today I'm learning about how to use icloud. I am trying to view my photos on icloud but I need an icloud photo app. Now here's my problem. I can't download the app because I have no space. How do I know if my photos have gone into icloud? I really don't want to lose my pictures. If they have gone to icloud would it automatically free up space on my ipad?

To the best of my knowledge, POP does not support the use of folders on the mail server. Those are only availble in IMAP or Microsoft Exchange accounts. Since the Mail app in iOS doesn't support creation of folders locally, there's no way to do this for your POP account that I know of.

Photo Stream syncing problem

Photo stream refuses to remove older photos from my iPhone. The iCloud Photo Stream service is supposed to keep photos on your devices for 30 days and then delete them. This works fine in iPhoto on my iMac, where photos duly disappear from the Photo Stream folder one monthe after they were taken. But it does not seem to work on my iPhone, older photos are just stuck there, even after they were removed from iPhoto Stream folder. Right now I have 280 photos in Photo Stream on iPhoto and some 730 in Photo Stream on the iPhone. This is not supposed to be possible. The only way to remove these "stuck photos" is to switch Photo Stream on the iPhone off and on again, foricng it download photos from iCloud anew. But this is hardly a practical solution.
The service works fine in the other sense, ie, photos taken on one device are synchronised and appear on other devices. It is just that, once added to the iPhone, photos are not removed automatically after 30 days.
Anyone having similar problems and / or an idea for a solution?

I understand that. The problem is that the photos stay put on Photo Stream on the iPhone after being removed from Photo Stream in iPhoto. Once a photo reaches it's "due date" it should be removed from iCloud and subsequently from all synchronised devices. This does not happen, it is removed from some but not others. Right now I have 243 photos on iPhoto Stream and 271 in iPhone stream. How come?

After the last OSX update i get this messege constandly.
- There is no access to the photos to iCloud account "My@Email". Review your account information in System Preferences.
But I havn't got a clue whats wrong. I have checked that I use the correct password, and I dont know what else to check.
Anyone who know why this messege pops up ?

Hi Marga, did you get a DLL file, which you could copy directly into a Firefox folder, or did you get an EXE or MSI installer file?
If you got a DLL, try pasting it here:
C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\browser\plugins

For EXE and MSI files, some users (and some administrators) may have "broken" some installers last year when there was a malware problem that led them to create a software policy which prevents executables from running from the TEMP folder or from the \AppData\Local folder.

Share photos over iphone problem - possible improvement to iOS.

I haver an ipad mini and usually Share photos to a friend iphone. I found out that the sync of shared photos over icloud uses 3G/data plans and it is not possible to disable this (or is it? How?).
This is a problem because when several friend shares photos the mobile data plan is heavily affected and it be a good idea to have this sync online by wifi, even of the iphone user acepts the Share on 3G. This would be a good option that the user could activate or not.

I fixed my own problem...

I still think its ridiculous that you cannot view photo stream photos on iCloud.com. I can't see paying for this service.

Hi, I had the same problem. I finally figured it out. Plug in the USB cord to your ipad, but beofre plugging it into your computer make sure your ipad is not in the locked or sleep mode. Once I did this, my photos showed up and started downloading. Hope that helps you!
