Photo taken with Iphone cannot be save after editing

After editing the photo taken from my Iphone 4S on my computer, I can't save it. Error given is "This photo can't be saved because of a problem with photo's file format". Have anyone encounter the same problem and found a solution to it?

Try resetting your device (nothing will be lost): Hold down the Home and Power buttons at the same time and continue to hold them down until the Apple appears (up to 30 seconds). Once the reset is complete, the "Slide to Unlock" screen will display. Try a photo again to see if it is working.

  • How can i prevent and fix white eyes in photos taken with iphone 4S

How can i prevent and also fix white eyes in photos taken with iphone 4S?  Is there a camera app that will help prevent this?

On the photo, click on Edit, the third icon at the bottom has a red circle with a slash over it, that's the red-eye fix. Touch that and it will fix all red eyes automatically or make you touch the red eyes and then fix them for you. Not perfect, but a great help. Now, I find that the fixes do not carry over when I save the photos in my computer. Hope to find an answer for that.

  • Emailed photos taken with iPhone not being received

Emailed photos taken with iPhone not being recieved.
Photos I have taken with the iPhone and then emailed are never received. I have sent them to two different yahoo accounts and neither account received the photos... I sent both using EDGE and WIFI... Same trouble with both...
Any idea why this feature is not working ?
    Thanks,
    -Frank

    Now it's magicly working.... maybe....
I did as you asked and sent myself emails from my iphone and nothing was received.... tried sending to my yahoo account and my work account... did this 3 or 4 times and nothing was received and nothing was shown as being sent... even though I caould hear the "sent" sound each time....
I then tried sending to my personal and my work accounts and also added one of those to the "CC" line... so that email had 2 email address in the "To:" line and 1 eamil address in the "cc:" line... That one worked just fine !!! got it twice in my personal account and once in my work account.
I then tried emailing the same photo that I had tried before and it too worked correctly...
The only itmes that have shown up in my sent box are the last tow... the email with multipul addresses and the photo that I sent right after...
So... it appears to be owrking at the moment...
Thanks for your help... I'm not sure why it's working now.. but at least it is...
    Thanks for you help,

  • How to transfer photos taken with iPhone 4s on to my iPad 2

I have a iPhone 4s and ipad 2.i want to transfer photos taken in iPhone to iPad. How to do it?icloud only transfers photos taken recently,,, not the old photos.can anyone help me

You can import the photos from your iPhone's Camera Roll with your computer as with any other digital camera followed by transferring the photos to your iPad via the iTunes sync/transfer process.
And/or you can purchase the iPad Camera Connection Kit which provides for importing photos from the iPhone's Camera Roll and from other digital cameras or from other digital camera storage cards.

  • Remove geotags from photos taken with iPhone (2G)

    Hi everyone,
I have some photos inside iPhoto that were taken with my 1st gen iPhone. For example there's one event with photos all taken within the range of a few meters, but the map shows me the pin at a not so nearby city and when zooming in it splits into 4 pins where only 1 of them is the correct event location. Another event is in the middle of Ireland, but I've never been there in my life. You get the idea...
Since this gets you lots of partially wrong places I'd like to simply remove all geographic information from these photos and give them a location manually later on.
What is the easiest way to accomplish this?
    Thanks a lot!
    Björn
PS: I tried creating new places, but that's not what I'm looking for.

OK, I've tried several tools which offer EXIF metadata editing, but none could remove the geotags. So I took another look at iPhoto and found the following workaround:
Export the photos from iPhoto and make sure that *'Include Location Data'* isn't checked. It's a bit strange, but when exporting to JPG (the originals are JPG, too) and selecting the highest quality setting the above mentioned option is greyed out. Seems like this simply outputs your images completely unchanged, because the geotags were still there. So I had to select
    a) another file format like TIFF or
    b) choose a lower JPG quality setting.
I went with b) since the images are only iPhone photos and there was not a single pixel difference in quality when I selected JPG and quality High instead of the maximum setting. After exporting I deleted the geotagged originals from iPhoto and re-imported my tag-less photos. Places no longer shows a place now.
Not ideal, but I can live with it for now. Maybe I'll appreciate the iPhone's geotagging ability once I have a 3G or newer model, but I don't want to use the 2G's only nearly accurate location data...
Hope this helps someone else looking for the same thing!

  • Had to do a restore through itunes - lost my photos taken with iphone

iphone froze up - had to do a full restore
but now my photos i took with the phone are gone..any way to get them back?
    whats up with this?

    robbonds,
A restore formats the iPhone as part of the process of restoring to the same condition it came out of the box. Reseting the iPhone does not erase the iPhone, and will often resolve situations where the iPhone has become unresponsive.
Your photos can be transferred to your computer after they were taken, and are not included in the information that is backed up for iTunes.

  • Spot in photos taken with iPhone 3GS

Recently, I've noticed a small spot on photos I've taken with my iPhone. Also I've noticed that the photos are slightly out of focus. On further investigation, I notice that I can see the spot through the phone before I take the photo, as I am focusing. It is about 1/2 cm in diameter and is about a quarter/third way down the phone screen. I've cleaned the lens cover with my computer screen cloth, but it did not make a difference. Any ideas?

I took my iPhone to the Apple store and they gave me a new one. I should have done that sooner!Something internally wrong with the lens. Thanks for advice.

  • Should Photo Stream in iPhoto show photos taken with iPhone?

Migrated all of my accounts to iCloud and was looking forward to using Photo Stream to share photos between our iPhones and Mac.  I have it turned on with all three devices, yet none of the photos published to Photo Stream show up on other devices.  Meaning: the Photo Stream photo on my iPhone does not show up in the Photo Stream on my Mac.  The photos in the Photo Stream on my Mac are not showing up on my iPhone.  Is there something additional I need to do to get this to work?

Try going into the iPhoto preferences and iPhone settings pane and turn off PhotoStream and then turn it back on again. For iPhoto I'd uncheck each of the checkboxes close the preferences, open the preferences and check them all again. Maybe even close iPhoto between unchecking and checking again.
As for the iPhone maybe reboot it also.

  • Photos taken with iPhone camera not syncing during sync

I recently switched from the 3G to the iPhone 4 and have experienced some syncing issues which I never had before. For instance, previously, whenever I would sync / backup my phone, a message box would pop up asking if I wished to add new photos on my phone to my computer. If I chose yes, a folder (which was assigned a name according to the date of my backup) would be created on my computer into which all photos that I'd taken since my last backup would automatically be backed up to.
    This no longer happens.
I took a lot of video clips at a wedding that I recently attended and I would like to back up the video and photos to my computer so that I can free up the memory on my phone.
Anyone have any ideas on how I can get things back to the way they used to be (ie get my phone to auto-backup all new photos from my camera roll to my computer when synced like it used to)?
    Thanks.
    ~JAKI

Have no idea since iTunes doesn't sync off photos from camera roll. (will embed as part of single backup file with rest of settings, but it doesn't sync photos).
Photos in camera roll get synced off by a variety of means. Like the Camera/Scanner wizard that normally by default pops up unless you altered some setting or installed some other photo software that has taken over that default.
You can also just browse to the phone from My Computer as it shows up as a camera (remember, the camera roll is treated differently than rest of device). Then once you browse to it you can just cut and paste files off.

  • Photos taken with iPhone 3G syncing at low resolution

Something has changed with my iPhone 3G setup. I take a lot of pictures with it and now for some reason the picture files on my MacBook Pro are 360x270 instead of the 1600x1200 the phone is capable of. I know it didn't do this before, what's going on? Is there a setting to adjust this? Thanks.

Are you using finder to look at your photos? Stay out of the finder! iPhoto organizes itself so that it can function. If you do anything to that structure, you risk losing your precious photos. The data folder has always been there.

  • Spots on photos taken with iphone camera

Spots show up when using camera, same position. Lens is clean.
When zooming, it grows and stay in the same location.
Only in the backside camera. Shows up both in photo and video, regardless of the photo app being used.
    ¿What could be the cause/fix?

Who cares the cause?  Take it to the Genius Bar for a replacement, after backing it up, of course.

  • I'm giving away my old iPhone 4.   I've deleted all my photos taken with the iPhone.  However, I can't delete the photo album which was taken with my Canon Camera and downloaded to my iPhone from my PC.  How can I remove this album?

I am giving away my old iPhone 4 with IOS.7 installed.
I have deleted all my photos taken with this iPhone, however, I cannot delete
a photo album I had downloaded from my computer to my iPhone 4.  I've tried via iTunes and
I've tried to delete them in the same manner as I've deleted photos taken with the iPhone but
    not this album.   HELP  ?
    Thank you.

You should erase all contents and setting before giving your iphone away.

  • Importing photos not taken with iPhone on the Mac

    Hello everyone,
I would like to import my photos from iPhone - but those not taken WITH iPhone.
I'll explain: I have photos on my PC. I can sync them to the iPhone. I now would like to import these into iPhoto. Under Windows, I can import as soon as I plug in the phone or access its disk. How can I do the same in my Mac?
    Thanks,
    Beto.

You cannot import photos from the iPhone that were transferred to the iPhone from a computer via the iTunes sync process with a PC or a Mac. Photos transferred from a computer via the iTunes sync process is a one way transfer process only - from the computer to the iPhone. Photos transferred from a computer are optimized for viewing on the iPhone as part of the iTunes sync/transfer process - the original resolution of these photos is reduced on the iPhone, which is why the transfer of these photos in the opposite direction is not supported.
There are a number of other ways to transfer the full resolution photos from one computer to another.

  • Photo's taken with iPhone are messed up (Example attached)

Hey, as title states, photo's taken with my iPhone are (mostly) messed up.
Please look at the example I've uploaded here: http://a2.s3.p.quickshareit.com/files/img_00263e5c6.jpg
    Any thoughts on this?

    Hello.
So all photos taken with the iPhone show up all Calage like?
    Try the following

You may find at some point you have to restore iPhone as a new iPhone. If it continues after this. Possible HW issue with the camera. If you are still within warranty. Please make an appointment at local Apple Retail Store online, and or contact iPhone Support.
