Photo text/email problem

i know the iphone cant send normal photo text messages so I tried the [email protected] way. I also tried sending it to a tmobile user. both times they would get the text message but no photo. and if they reply to it and send me a photo i get there's with no problem. any ideas?

It may be some limitation on the TMobile's MMS server that prevents pictures of a certain size to be sent via MMS...

When i go to my photos and am viewing a picture it will not let me set it as my background or anything else dealing with the button in the top right corner between trash and slideshow. When i click onit it turns gray and my photo app freezes. Help
Also when i try to send an email it pops up for only a brief time (about 10 seconds)
If anyone knows how to fix any of these that would be nice

Shut down all programs that are running in the background.
    1. Double-click the Home button to see Apps in background
    2. Hold the Apps down for a second or two until you see the minus sign
    3. Tap the minus sign to close program
    4. Reset iPad. Hold the Sleep and Home button down for about 10 second until you see the Apple logo

  • Photo Booth Email Problems

When I try to email a movie created in Photo Booth (ver. 2.0.1.(72)) my recipients hear the audio but can't see the video. I use Mail as my email program. I've tried using the Mail function within Photo Booth and I've also tried using Mail and attaching the movie file myself. I note that in either situation I'm not given any opportunity to adjust the size of the attachment. What can I do to allow my recipients to hear and see the movie?

If your recipient is a Windoze user, does he have his sound turned on and his volume set properly?

If you mail the same attachment to yourself, does the copy that you receive work properly?

The problem is with the new operating system  and sending photo via email when used in my iPad.
From photo I selected 3 photos to send via email. I choose the upload key and choose to send by email. Typing text on the email is very slow. This is solved by saving the email as a draft and opening the email again from mail.
Can you amend he system to allow emails to be sent from photo as previously.

Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPad?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after the iPad shuts down, then press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds). Ignore the "Slide to power off"

  • IOS 7.0.3 Email missing Text when sending photos by email

    Hello,
I have recognized, that when sending a photo by email since ios 7.0 all text which is typed underneath the photo is not displayed by the revicer in his Email.
    Also my signatures are missing.
When I check my outbox the Text is displayed correctly under the photos.
Before iOS 7, I had never such problems.
Does anyone else have theese problems?
    Thanks for any hints.
    Regards
    Dominik

That doesn't work for me. First off, to reduce confusion, in iOS 7, it's General > Touch ID & Passcode > Reply with Message: On.
I've had this turned on since I got my 5S, but the Reply with Message function only appears for about a fifth of the phone calls I receive. I rarely see it. In each case, I have good cell reception, and it has nothing to do with who's calling, since I sometimes see it and sometimes don't for the same person. Another iOS 7 bug, I'm sure.

  • Problem sending photos via email since I recently updated to iLife 11.

Having problem sending photos by Email since I upgraded to iLife11.
I followed the instructions.   I used to just select my photos and then a screen would come up to compose an email.
Now it comes up with templates and I had to set up what account to send them from.  No matter what I do, it just
    never goes thru.
    What's the solution?

  • Sudden Problem Sending Photos by Email

    Hi,
After being able to successfully send photos from my iPhone by email ever since I got it, I suddenly have a problem. The recipient does not receive the photo - only a small blue box with a question mark in it. The copy of the email in my Sent folder looks the same.
I've tried a reset and, for info, I use BT Yahoo for email.
Have hunted high and low for reference to this and only found one post but there was no real explanation or resolution.
Any help or advice gratefully received. Cheers!

You are referring to this discussion, right?
Problem sending photos via email since I recently updated to iLife 11.
Which MacOS X version are you using and which iPhoto version?
If you are using Yosemite and have enabled up two-step verification for iCloud?  Then you may need to create an application specific password for iPhoto.  See this discussion:  Re: Unable to send photo through email using iphoto theme (designs)Re: Unable to send photo through email using iphoto theme (designs)Re: Unable to send photo through email using iphoto theme (designs)  Unable to send photo through email using iphoto theme (designs)

  • Problem sending photos by Email.  Received a response from T. Devlin.  Did not solve problem.  I had already done what he suggested.

I had already entered my Email info under preferences.
The screen comes up with the photos I want to send.
I type my message and hit Send.  The blue bar appears "Sending".
However,  don't know where the photos go, they don't reach destination.
I tried sending to myself at another Email address - they didn't arrive, and they are not shown under Sent Emails either.
    How to resolve?
Tried to respond to T. Devlin - but that didn't happen either.  Just a Like symbol was there (as in Facebook).

    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
    - Restore from backup. See:
    iOS: How to back up
    - Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

  • Problem with plain text trailers in rich text email?

I'm a member of a mail group which adds subscribe and unsubscribe trailers added to the emails. When reading these emails with Mail 2.1.1, text emails appear fine. But sometimes html emails that have the text trailer have problems.
The text trailer (which is within a pre html tag) often has and equal sign "=" and "return" which brings the links on two lines. The placement of the extra characters is random... The html of the problem emails look fine when downloaded as a file and viewed with a browser (and the code is fine too)
I see this problem ONLY from group html emails that have a plain text trailer.

  • Problem-iPhoto freezes for 30 secs when sending photos by email

    _Reproduction steps_
    1. select 2 or more photos
    2. send these photos by email to someone
    _Expected behaviour_
As soon as I hit the Send button I should be able to continue using iPhoto immediately.
    _Actual behaviour_
As soon as I hit the Send button I have to wait 30 secs or more for iPhoto to complete sending the email. I don't like wasting time (Grrr!!)
Solution suggestion: iPhoto needs a fix so that it sends the email asynchronously.
PS Not sure where to post feature requests (or defect reports) for iPhoto, so hope this will get noticed. (Forum, please let me know if I should be posting this elsewhere...)
    Thanks!

It takes 13 seconds for me on my iMac. What's the configuration of your MBP? CPU, RAM, how much free space, etc.

  • How to send photos as email attachments???

This is a ridiculously easy and simple question but I'm a mac newbie and can't figure out how to send photos as email attachments, not embed them in the body of the email. Every time I go to send a picture or group of pictures from i-photo an email message opens....the pictures are embedded in the body of the email and that's how they appear to receipients. In a test, I've sent them to a PC...the message comes through just fine but the photos don't have separate attachments that I can click on and "save as." they come through as bitmap files. Any ideas? THANK YOU.

It will not ALWAYS fix the problem that this topic is about; I had my Mail preferences set to send as Plain Text and it did not fix the problem. Additionally, since there is NOT an option in Iphoto as you previously noted, it might be confusing to some people.
However, for those of you who have the same problem, there seems to be a solution that worked for me. I also had the problem that Mail was overriding my sizing preference when I selected them in Iphoto (share > email) and always sending them as small instead of medium as I preferred.
Since it seems that sometimes Mail does not deploy the plain text default so you need to kick start it to remember. This is how I did it....
    - Select the photos you want and hit SHARE > EMAIL in Iphoto
    - Now, in Mail click on the photo browser button
    - Find another photo in Iphoto via the browser and drag and drop it into the email that you're composing
    - You'll see a size option appear in the bottom right hand corner
    - Playing around with the sizing option a few times kicked it into gear and it seems to be working better since then
I hope that helps anyone who has had the same problem.
