Photo transfer from PC to m515

I have the latest software update 4.1.4 installed on the PC and my PDA. I have transferred pictures to the Palm Desktop and HotSync'd to the PDA. Photos did not transfer. Am I missing something or am I expecting to much?
Post relates to: Palm m515

The m515 did not have the ability to view and sync photos natively.   (And no, you're not expecting too much!)
I'm looking at the Installation Disk that came with the unit (I had several m515's!) and it has MGI Photosuite on it, for both your PC and m515.
Alternatively, you can look at SplashPhoto from SplashData.com if you don't have the disk.

There is no duplication.   This is how the iphone handles photos.
Just as one book can be in the public library and that exact saem book can be in the fiction section, a photo is in the photo library ( with ALL other photos synced to the iphone) and that exact same photo can be accessed from the individual folder.
If you wanted to show your family a slide show of all of your photos, then you would use the photo library.  if you wanted them to see only Christmas pics, then you would use the folder.
There are not two pictures, simply two places from which to access the same pic.

  • HT201269 Will my photos transfer from iphone 4 to 4s if I restore the 4s from iPhone 4 back up on iTunes?

Will my photos that I took with iPhone 4 transfer from iphone 4 to 4s if I restore the 4s from iPhone 4 back up on iTunes?

Do a backup of your 4, either to the cloud or your computer, depending on how you usually do this.
If you backed up your 4 to the computer, connect the new phone to the computer at this point, if you restored it to the cloud, do NOT connect it to the computer (or you might get an old backup by mistake). Just connect it to a charger.
When you first power up your new phone, it will ask you whether you want do configure it as a new phone or to restore it from a backup.  Select "from a backup".  The prodedure is slightly different for computer and iCloud backups, but you'll be able to figure it out.
This will restore all your apps, settings, and camera roll.  Then you can either sync it to the computer or redownload your music and movies (depending on how you manage these things).
Once this is done, you can delete everything you don't want from the old phone.

How to Transfer photos/files from iPhone to Mac

  • Need help undoing photo transfer from iPhone 4s.

Hello gang, I need some help with a photo transfer as things have gone awry!
I had ~100 photos in my Camera Roll on my 4s.  Went to transfer these to a PC, as usual; however, I did (2) thiings differently this time:
    (a) did this directly to a USB (instead of to my hard drive first).
    (b) Instead of my normal 'copy/paste/delete' I did a 'cut/paste' in order to save a step.
Well, lo and behold, these are now on my USB but each at 1KB size and when I go to view I get the message "Windows Photo Viewer can't open this picture because either Photo Viewer doesn't support this file format, or you don't have the latest updates to Photo Viewer."  My PC is running Windows 7, and right now I have about 100 photos that are not accessible.  I am not able to 'copy' back to the iPhone and at this point they are lost.
I am curious if copying directly to the USB instead of to my hard drive has generated this issue, although I do not understand why.  I have plugged in the USB to other PCs and photos are still not readable, nor are the photos still present in my Camera Roll.  Please tell me these are not gone?!
    Help!

Please, try "Photo Transfer WiFi" or "Sync Photos to Storage" from the App Store. Does it solves your problem?
I recommend you the second app. It allows you to send all your Camera Roll photos and videos to the desktop in one tap!

  • Photo Transfer From PC To IPad

Looking for recommendations for an App (or another method) that will permit me to copy or simply drag selected photos from my PC to my IPad.
Having come from the simplicity of the PC world, I am very disappointed in the complexity and need to synchronize to do what is so simple on a PC.

If you don't want to sync photos via iTunes to the Photos app, then there are apps such as Simple Transfer which allow you to copy photos to/from the iPad's Photos app via your wifi network (photos will go into the Camera Roll album in Photos), or there are third-party photo management apps such as Photo Manager Pro which allows you to copy photos to/from it via your wifi network and which has imporved functionality compared to Photos (Photo Manager Pro help) e.g. you can change the sort order of photos directly within the app

  • Photo transfer from PC to iPad 2

I know how to sync photos to my iPad from my normally used PC.
I wish to transfer photos from another PC without replacing what I already have stored on the iPad.
Can this be done with iTunes and if so, how? If not, can it be achieved with another app?

There are several ways that you can transfer photographs from your PC to your iPad.
    (1) You can synchronise your iPad and PC using the iTunes software on your PC and you can select which photos/albums/folders that you want to copy.
    (2) If you only have a few photos to transfer, then you can email them from your PC to your iPad
    (3) You can use a third-party app, like GoodReader (see it in the iPad App Store) and that will allow you to copy photos from your PC to your iPad either using WiFi or the USB connection cable that came with your iPad
    (4) You can use a 'cloud storage' server, such as Apple's MobileMe iDisk or DropBox to transfer photos from your PC to the cloud storage and then you can download them from the cloud storage to your iPad. If you need to know more about cloud storage have a look at the Apple iPad website and look for MobileMe.
    (5) You can use the optional camera connection kit - this will allow you to transfer photos either from an SD memory card directly to your iPad or you can plug the connection kit directly into your camera and upload photos that way.

  • Photo transfer from old desktop

I have a Apple desktop running OS X v.10.4.11 and I want to transfer my photos to my iPad.  What is the best way to do this?

You can also try using an app from the app store like our app: "Photo Transfer App" which lets you transfer photos any computer (no matter what OS it runs) to your iPad over wifi. You need to install the app on your iPad and then use any web browser on your computer like Safari, Google Chrome, etc. to transfer your photos. Here is a bit more info:

I hope the app can be useful to you!

  • I can't open photo transfer from icon

I purchased the photo transfer app but it won't open from the icon on the desktop

    You are welcome.
Another way to do the transfer is to simply enable Photostream on your iMac and iPad.  Photostream does the sync without any input from you.  It's almost too easy.

  • Single photo transfer from PC to Ipod

I would like to transfer one or two photos individually from my PC to my Ipod Classic. How do I do this without a complete sync?

My son has done this on our Mac but I'm not sure if it'll work on a PC. He created a album that only had 1 picture in it and then synced only that album.

  • Photo transfer from computer to iPhone

Hello- I am not sure if anyone else is having this problem... I had 100+ photos on my phone... I updated it, and now I have only 81 photos in my camera roll and 144 on iTunes. How do I get the photos from iTunes to back to my phone? I've tried re-syncing and nothing seems to work. Also, some of the photos are black in the thumbnail, but they look fine when viewed. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Although photos in your iPhone's Camera Roll are included with your iPhone's backup which is updated by iTunes as the first step during the iTunes sync process, photos in your iPhone's Camera Roll should by imported by your computer as with any other digital camera, which is not handled by iTunes.
Photos transferred from your computer to your iPhone is handled by iTunes, which is selected under the Photos tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes. Photos transferred from your computer to your iPhone are stored in your iPhone's Photo Library. These photos should remain on your computer.

  • Photo transfer from windows folder to ipad not working?

I have transferred photos from a folder on my Windows7 desktop to my IPad yesterday however, I am unable to transfer any tonight.  Anyone
    know why ?

You can try resetting your iPad by simultaneously pressing and holding the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons until you see the Apple Logo. This can take up to 15 seconds so be patient and don't release the buttons until the logo appears.
Try again to see if the problem persists.

  • Photo transfer from ipod to new macbk pro gone bad

I successfully transfered my music from ipod classic (80gb) using senuti. Then did "transfer purchases" option in itunes to recover the rest. Then acquired touch copy app. to handle photos from ipod only to find out, when I started app., that all my photos on my ipod were erased! I think it happened during my sync (transfer purchases). However I did a search and found a bunch of .ipmeta files on my computer. They are not readable and I can't get them to import to iphoto. Can I recover the pics from my ipod or my comp? Thank you.

  • Photo transfer from iPad1 to iMac

How to synchronize or transfer photos from my iPad1 to my iMac, which recently received a new hard disk? The photos were only saved on my iPad...

For photos taken with the iPad, copied to it via the camera connection kit, or saved from emails/websites then see this page : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083
For photos that were originally synced from a computer you will need a third-party app such as Simple Transfer (which has a free lite version called Simple Photo & Video Transfer) which can copy them off via your wifi network. But as photos are 'optimised' when they are synced to the iPad, any that you then copy back to a computer may not be exactly the same as they originally were on your computer.

  • Photo transfer from camera to iPad

    Good morning!
Is there any way to transfer photos from a Nikkon P500 to my iPad2?

Yes, Apple has an accessory that works perfectly either with the camera clip or directly from the camera.
It is: Apple iPad Camera Connection Kit. About $29. I bought mine at Target. - Same price
