Photo transfer to my ipad
I can´t get my mac photos into my new ipad2 I checked all the tutorials about that but no solution....... It tells me that a configuration problem of them cant make them go into the ipad, but the thing it´s that 2 of them get transfered..... No clue about this thing....
Put your photos in separate folders on your PC (with the folders off the same parent folder) - you should then be able to sync those folders (together in one sync) and each should get their own album on the iPad. You have to sync all the folders together as only the contents of the most recent remains in the iPad - not including a folder in a subsequent sync is how you delete the folder/album from the iPad.

HT4623 ipad 1 photo transfer to the Ipad
My Ipad 1 I would like to use as a photo book to show folks albums. I cannot load photos back to the Ipad. Photo stream doesn't seem to work when I share from another device
Thanks to all for letting me know the info.
But it's crazy that older ipads are not privileged for the latest OS. It's one thing for h\w tech to not keep up with the latest app's load, but just for the heck of it, keeping at bay the older ipads with new OS is outright greed on part of Apple.
Unless, there is some hardware deficiency of older ipads that they can't handle ios 7.
Thank myself for at least buying an Android phone, instead of getting caught in this overpriced Apple products hype. -
Photo transfer, SD to iPad
I would like to know how to transfer photos from an SD card into my iPad. I have the SD card in the appropriate camera connection kit reader, and that is attached to my iPad, but I don't see how to find and transfer the photos.
If you attach the Camera Connection Kit to the iPad, and then insert an SD card, the photos on the SD card should download automatically. I think the iPad presents you with a menu of "Import All" or something like that. Are you sure you made all the connections securely? Also, you may want to do a soft reset on your iPad just to be sure. To do that, hold the On/Off and Home buttons in simultaneously until the Apple logo appears on the screen.

Photo transfer PC to iPad via SD card not always successful.
Frequently jpeg files I have copied from my PC onto an SD card are not recognized by iPad Photos using the Apple accessory. I am downloading onto the card each file individually and not as a folder. Any ideas please?
Are you creating a DCIM directory off the root of the card, with the photos underneath it with filenames exactly 8 characters long (no spaces) plus their file extension ?

When syncing my photo albums from the IMac to the IPad, the vertical photos rotate to the horizontal. I had 260 photos on the album. I also have 17000 photos on the IPad, but I have 11.1 gb space remaining. How do I prevent this from happening?
With iTunes. Go to your iPad>Photos and check "Sync Photos" and either select all or select the ones you want.

Why won't my photos transfer to my ipad mini
hi all, I have just purchased a camera cable for my IPad mini retina. When I connect my camera to my ipad,I get the photos appear in the download screen. I select the pictures I want to download and the click download. the process starts but nothing gets downloaded and I don't get a pop up window asking if I want to save the pics either. I have just paid £20 for this little cable !!!! Here's hoping someone has an idea what's wrong.
OK, I am not 100% sure why this is happening...

Hi there China2,
If you are using Windows, then head to Windows Explorer, plug your device in, select your device and you can copy the images over from the device to any location on your computer as normal.
On a mac, plug your device in, launch iPhoto, and click import.
Hope this helps,

My "places" in photos is working on my phone but not transferred to my iPad in Photo Stream even though the photos transfer. It used to work, so did I do something?
OK Vicky, good clues...
See if this helps...
Open Keychain Access in Utilities, use Keychain First Aid under the Keychain Menu item, then either check the Password under that item, change it, or delete it and start over. See if there are duplicates, should be one for Incoming & one for Outgoing.
Resetting your keychain in Mac OS X...
If Keychain First Aid finds an issue that it cannot repair, or if you do not know your keychain password, you may need to reset your keychain.

Photo Transfer From PC To IPad
Looking for recommendations for an App (or another method) that will permit me to copy or simply drag selected photos from my PC to my IPad.
Having come from the simplicity of the PC world, I am very disappointed in the complexity and need to synchronize to do what is so simple on a PC.If you don't want to sync photos via iTunes to the Photos app, then there are apps such as Simple Transfer which allow you to copy photos to/from the iPad's Photos app via your wifi network (photos will go into the Camera Roll album in Photos), or there are third-party photo management apps such as Photo Manager Pro which allows you to copy photos to/from it via your wifi network and which has imporved functionality compared to Photos (Photo Manager Pro help) e.g. you can change the sort order of photos directly within the app

Photo transfer from PC to iPad 2
I know how to sync photos to my iPad from my normally used PC.
I wish to transfer photos from another PC without replacing what I already have stored on the iPad.
Can this be done with iTunes and if so, how? If not, can it be achieved with another app? There are several ways that you can transfer photographs from your PC to your iPad.
(1) You can synchronise your iPad and PC using the iTunes software on your PC and you can select which photos/albums/folders that you want to copy.
(2) If you only have a few photos to transfer, then you can email them from your PC to your iPad
(3) You can use a third-party app, like GoodReader (see it in the iPad App Store) and that will allow you to copy photos from your PC to your iPad either using WiFi or the USB connection cable that came with your iPad
(4) You can use a 'cloud storage' server, such as Apple's MobileMe iDisk or DropBox to transfer photos from your PC to the cloud storage and then you can download them from the cloud storage to your iPad. If you need to know more about cloud storage have a look at the Apple iPad website and look for MobileMe.
(5) You can use the optional camera connection kit - this will allow you to transfer photos either from an SD memory card directly to your iPad or you can plug the connection kit directly into your camera and upload photos that way.
If you need further details about transferring photo from PC to iPad, just refer the next tutorials.
