Photo uploading error in Portal

HI Experts,
I have configured the ARCHIVELINK to store the photo in Content Server. Manage to upload the photo and display the photo in PA20/30 from the backend ECC system. but my requirement is when we click and go back to same screen where we uploaded the photo , that photo will be Disappear.

Hi Shilpa,
As I said previously, not only in you BP scenario, but also in all portal role objects, if some object (iview / page / workset) which assigned to role and its not there in PCD or its original path has changed ( we call it as broken links) then we will see this error. with yellow warning symbol in front of the linked objects not found error.
So Just check for the iviews / pages / worksets which needs to be assigned to your student role and you assign it manually.
If you are not able to see any iviews / pages / worksets in your BP folder (content provided by SAP) then surely there is a problem with your BP deployment some iviews / pages / worksets might be missing from your BP epa file.

Having a look at the settings in our system where this is working, I can see that we have used SDOKCONT1, we haven't created a ZSDOKCONT1. Maybe you can try this as well?
The other difference is that under the Protocol tab i.e. in transaction OAC0 we have created our own Protocol ZHRPRO, and this is maintained via (i think) via transaction OAA3. Our settings for this are:

Photo Upload Error

Hi Experts,
While trying to upload photo for PERNR through Tcode: OAAD, we are getting error as "HTTP error: 401 Unauthorized".
Authorization was successful which we foud out through SU53. Please guide me on the issue.

1. Create a user ID in SU01 (user type must be "System User), this user ID should have SAP ALL authorization
2. Ensure that the "Contentserver" service is activiated in SICF T code and also enter the user name and password (which is created in step no. 1) in the logon data tab page for the Contentserver service in the SICF T code
Check if you have authorization to T code SDV and tables SDOKCONT1 and TOAHR.

Facebook photo upload error

I have the n97 and I have the latest software update. Ever since I updated facebook will not upload any photos. I have uninstalled and re-installed it. I have updated the new software 3 times. But still every time I try to upload a photo I get a script error. Before the software update it worked fine. Lots of other bugs but I could upload photos. Any idea how I can fix this? Thanks.

it does have udp. i dont think i have lost anything but it is possilbe you might lose spore and the guitar game. i have removed those as i dont play games on my phone. so yes back up would be wise to do. reformat is more like 'out of the box' condition. now that pertains to firmware and things embeded there. it does not pertain to apps that have been added on after the firmware install. so again you might lose game apps. accu stays as long as you have firmwrae v11....
so yes back up and go for it. and you are right for such an expensive piece of technology its a shame that we have to deal with not being able to download programs that came with the phone because they are nowhere to be found on the net and some other things.

Photo uploading error [PC]

I linked my iPhone to my Desktop, and I was using it to upload photos via My Computer.
Since then, I have updated - I believe - software on the ipod - and certainly - software (itunes) on the desktop.
I also tried to use my iPhone abroad on my laptop, but I found out it can only sync to one computer at a time. Fine.
I tried to then upload photos on my iphone onto my desktop, but it doesn't show up under my computer now. It is present on iTunes all fine, I can still put videos onto it and so forth, but I can't get it on My Computer.

Oh, sorry, some stuff to add.
I browsed on the internet a while ago this problem, and it was suggested to remove the iPhone drivers on the computer, and let it automatically re-install.
When I plug in the iPhone now, it detects it but fails the driver installation. However, it does still come up in iTunes, and I thought the native 'appear as harddrive' aspect was essentially plug and play?

Hi,
Are you using the standard iview. If that's the case you need to configure in the backend. Meaning you need to store the photo in the Org management(HR) which the HR functional guys will do. You just need to add the iview to your role.

I am publishing directly to an FTP server (option 1). Is this the optimal method or should I be publishing to a folder and then (how do/would I?) publish to my hosting domain?
I'm wondering if this has really anything to do with the publishing process, or whether it just has to do with the photos and/or the photo albums. I've deleted the photo albums with the missing pictures from my site on iweb thinking a file might be corrupt. (I'm getting the albums from iphoto -- drag/drop method into iweb) I then replaced these albums with the same albums as the previous ones from iphoto and then published my site again -- and the EXACT same photos were once again missing in the NEW albums as were missing in the old albums...
Maybe it is a publishing issue, or it could be a photo/file issue. However, these albums aren't very large -- the largest containing 135 photos --
Please! if you have any suggestions or ideas as to what is happening I would be greatly appreciative!

We have followed note 595563 for implementing photo upload functionaly in our server.
but when I am storing photo by tocode OAAD , it's giving error.
HTTP error:401 Unauthorized
Please help actually I have checked all the SDN threds but no success.

TCode SICF- Here you activate the Content Server Interface.
First you need to create a user profile u2013 with sufficient authorisations to carry out the processes which are done by the system in the background. Ideally this should be a background user for a notional/dummy user. You can use your own user ID after which SAP will warn you that this is a dialogue user account. If you do use your own user ID, change it as soon as you have tested the config. Once you have finished the project, the chances are that your user account will be deleted from the system which will subsequently stop this service from working.
Double-click on "content server" in the left hand tree structure. You can find it under default_host --> sap --> bc --> content server
Once you have done this, click on the refresh icon and make sure that the service is activated. If it is activated, the writing should be in bold (as opposed to greyed out)

Photo upload to iCloud fails with the error message 'Upload failed due to network error'. Ideas?

I am trying to get my photos on my Mac Mini onto my iPad 2 via iCloud. I have tracked the problem down to upload failure from Mini to iCloud. 1St (&every) photo upload fails with the message 'Upload failed due to network error'. Any ideas?

I doubt this issue is related to the Mac Mini specifically.
I have 44 photos shot with an iPhone 3G that will not upload to iCloud Photo Library. I try and drag-and-drop them onto the web interface and I get the same error message you did:

44 items were not uploaded due to a network error.
However, I have another 62 photos shot with the same iPhone 3G that upload without issue. And I just uploaded 440 photos from an iPhone 4 without issue.
I thought it may have something to do with certain EXIF tags missing on the photos that would not upload but I have not been able to figure out a pattern when comparing photos that work and photos that don't work.
The photos that won't upload open fine in QuickLook, Preview, and Pixelmator so I doubt the image is corrupted in some way.
I can AirDrop the photo to my iOS device and it will upload to iCloud Photo Library, the photo/video count will be incremented on the iOS device and iCloud Photo Library but the photo will never be displayed in iCloud Photo Library. When I delete the photo on the iOS device the photo/video count will decrement on the iOS device but will remain the same in iCloud Photo Library. When this occurred the following error was thrown in the iCloud Photo Library web interface:

Upload Error message: HTTPS protocol is not supported

   Whenever I do a quick par upload i'm getting an 'Operation failed' message to check sap-plugin.log.
   Log says
Upload Error message: HTTPS protocol is not supported, please ensure this server is not using HTTPS. My webdynpro applications are getting deployed without any issues.
     How to resolve this?

Hi Sumathi,
As there are often problems with the Quick PAR Upload reported, I would suggest to use the "normal" PAR upload from the icon tray (you have to activate the portal icons in the icon tray). That is almost that "quick" (one or two clicks more needed, we don't talk about more than a second) and - it works (it least it should, and at least it works in most cases even if the Quick PAR Upload fails).

Facebook Photo uploader not working

a few weeks ago (nov 2012) i upgraded to the latest vresion of facebook, but if i now go into the app and click to upload a photo, nothing happens, not even an error message appears. everythign else is working fine though. Photo uploading works if i go to the gallery and select send to facebook.
ive tried uninstalling, resetting my phone and upgrading my software but nothing has worked. any help would be good and i have a blackberry curve9300 3G
