Photo Wallpapers in iOS7.2

Why do my photos in Camera Roll blow up in size when I try to use them as wallpapers? This started when I updated to iOS7 and iOS7.2.

Sorry for obvious, but does you camera offer some sort of photostitch? Canon XTi does and I've used it a couple of times now.
I created using Canon, copy the panorama back into Aperture and clean up as necessary. by cleaning up I mean using retouch to clone over the white areas at edges of stitched photos. National Geographic hasn't called yet but I'll keep at it.

How do I find a photo in new iOS7 photo app?

Can anybody help with the new Photo app on iOS7?
I have about 5000 photos taken around the world over the last fifty years. With the old Photo app, if I wanted to find a photo taken in (say) Argentina it was easy - just go to Places view, zoom to Argentina on the map, zoom to where I took the photo, and then click on a red pin. The map was a fabulous intuitive tool to easily find photos.
How do I do this now? The only way I have found is in "collections" where I have to try to remember what year I took the photo then squint through pages of minute thumbnails. I usually give up without finding the photo. Is there not an easier way?

I rang Apple support today about this issue. After a great deal of polite argument with a senior support person, Apple have agreed to exchange my iPhone 4S and iPad 2 for reconditioned replacements that still have OS6.1.3 on them, and so still have the Photo Map.
They accepted my argument that they should have warned in their own description of OS7 that Photo Map (and Wikipedia search on Spotlight) had been removed.
I am therefore off to the local Apple Store tomorrow to pick up the reconditioned items.

Where is the photo library in ios7?

I've just updated to ios7 and now the photo library is missing, only the Camera Roll album is showing, anyone know how to solve this?Thanks

The white sliders are mentioned but not the missing photo count (which was obviously reported in the beta phase). I'm sure there are more.

Where is the slideshow feature in the Photos app? (iOS7)

Since upgrading to iOS7, I haven't been able to figure out how to run a simple slideshow of one of my Photos albums. Has this been removed/moved?

Unfortunately that doesn't seem to work. Once you deselect a photo there is no slideshow option displayed. all you can do is select or cancel.
EDIT (from another thread): if you just click the 1st photo then click slideshow, the entire album will run. As for your question about pausing, if I touch the screen of the photo I want to pause, the slideshow will stop until I touch the screen again and then the option for slideshow comes up again, and once you click the slideshow option, the slideshow resumes.
What a Pain. Back in iOS 2 (yes, 2) you could stop and start photos from anywhere in an album and manually make them move forward with a flick of the screen if you were showing them on a TV. It worked brilliantly with a pause and play button. WHY did Apple get rid of this? It was like Keynote was built into the photos app.

IPhoto not accepting photos from iPhone IOS7

I have not been able to copy photos from my iPhone 4S to my macbook 1,1 (OSX 10.6.8) since I installed IOS7.0 on the phone. "file is in an unrecognizable format" and it's JPG.

Copy: Use iPhoto Library Manager
But best to rebuild the library:
Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Repair Database. If that doesn't help, then try again, this time using Rebuild Database.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. (In early versions of Library Manager it's the File -> Rebuild command. In later versions it's under the Library menu.)
This will create an entirely new library. It will then copy (or try to) your photos and all the associated metadata and versions to this new Library, and arrange it as close as it can to what you had in the damaged Library. It does this based on information it finds in the iPhoto sharing mechanism - but that means that things not shared won't be there, so no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your events, albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

Help with photo messaging on ios7

I have just upgraded my iphone 4 to ios7, and it appears that I can no longer receive photo messages (though it appears that I can send them). Is this something that has been removed?? I have MMS messaging and SMS messaging on. I have the same issue on my husbands phone, and he is with a different telco.

And by removed, I mean fixed - I would love to be able to send photo messages!!

Photos/wallpapers

Ever since the new update, the photo app doesn't set wallpapers to normal size.
the app zooms the picture and the move and scale doesn't allow you to shrink the photo to fit the screen.
Does anyone know how to fix the problem?
I never had the problem before the update.
It would set the wallpaper to the same size as the photo in the photo app.

If your device is not working properly, you can reset some settings to their original
values.
1 End all active calls and connections.
2 Select Menu > Settings and Phone > Phone management > Factory> Restore.
3 Enter the lock code.
This does not affect documents or files stored on your device.
After restoring the original settings, the device switches off, and then on again.
Its surprising...Factory Restore should not delete any data...
Search thoroughly in all folders... as the Factory Restore will set all the settings to its Default (Out of Box) condition.. so if you have organised them these must have been gone back where they belonged originaly...

Problem updating photos in new ios7.0.2 for iphone 5

My iphone want update the photos that I had taken under the old operating system. It keeps saying downloading.....even when I use a wifi connection.
Some of the photos I can see, but most of them are grey blank squares
Does anyone have a suggestion to get these photos to download please?

My ipad 2 currently syncs with itunes, but it it no longer recognised on any pc as a removeable drive and I need to delete 2g of photos to install IOS7.03. Why are all pcs no longer recognising ipad?

Currently have an IPad 2, running ios 6.1.3, looking to update to ios 7.03, but I need to delete 2g of photos. Reading posts, I need to do this via the internal storage, but when I connect ipad to any of our 3 pcs, whilst it is recognised by itunes, it is not listed as a removable device, so am unable to locate device nor its storage. Our iphones and ipods all connect and are recognised, why not ipad?? HELP!

This is great, BUT my pc does NOT recognise the ipad anymore, so I have nothing to import from..... it WAS recognised in the morning, but not by lunchtime on three different pc's. How do I get the pc's to recognise the ipad again??

Where is the "All Photos" folder in iOS7?

In previous versions when I went to my Photo App it shows all my folders I created PLUS one that held ALL my photos...now it's gone. It says I have over 1500 pictures on the phone but the app only shows some folders with the total number of pictures in each folder and they don't come even close to the 1500 number I have...what gives?

Make sure you have it enabled:
In Finder > Preferences > Sidebar > check All My Files

I have this same issue except with iPhoto. We each have our own computers and I thought the shared photostream would allow us to each have all the photos, but they aren't full sized.

Hello. Just updated the firmware to 7.0.0 on my iphone5
and now I have a problem. The phone crashes (freezes, tunrs off) if I set the dynamic wallpaper. Whenever bubbles move - the phone freezes.
Never had ANY problem yet.

im using my new iphone 5s and i've noticed that the my photo stream is not working properly when i take a phot w/ my iphone and then go home to check it o my laptop running windows 8 and there no photo on my photo strams folder on my pc how is that ? plaese explain but when my lptop is on and then i take a photo my photo stream is working

Cannot delete photos taken with ios7; iphone5 ios 8.2

I cannot delete any old photos taken using the old ios 7.
I have tried, connecting to itunes, no option to delete photos there, moving photos from folders to desktop computer, moving photos to a new folder and then deleting them. I am able to delete new photos taken since the install of 8.2, any old photos have a grayed out trash can. I refuse to use the cloud.

Synced photos can only be deleted by syncing again.
