Why does the color change when I open a warm image in Photoshop CS6?

Whenever I open a warm color image in Photoshop CS6, the color of the image automatically changes? Please see the attached screenshots below.
What is the solution to this problem? Please Help.
I use Windows 7 Ultimate. Photoshop CS6.

There is no "problem" to "fix". A raw file is just the data captured by the sensor, not yet an image. To produce a useful image it needs to be processed in a raw converter, either automatically in-camera or with a standalone converter (ACR).
The camera LCD shows you an in-camera processed jpeg, according to the camera manufacturer's idea of how the raw data should be interpreted. There is nothing inherently "correct" about this, and a lot of the original data have been thrown away in the process.
ACR doesn't make any assumptions about how the final image should look. It shows you a neutral starting point, with default settings to preserve as much of the original data as possible. The rest is up to you. You're not supposed to just accept the defaults. The sliders are there for a reason.
You can change the ACR defaults at any time if you come up with settings that are more to your taste.

When I open my images in Photoshop CS6 they appear considerably blown out - none of the foreground has color and detail seen here-but you can see a posterize like appearancin the sky. The same thing is happening in Lightroom 5.

The work files are tiffs 16 bit - anything that opens in photoshop has the
same look -jpg,psd etc. My images are printed as digital C print by a lab.
I haven't intentionally changed anything since yesterday when I was editing
images. The appearance is the same in Lightroom where my digital image are
stored. I also have scanned film image that open in adobe camera raw.So
whatever is happening occurs both in Photoshop and lightroom.
You suggest a monitor setting, worth exploring, but could a monitor issue
affect only photoshop/lightroom doc.

How can I, an inserted image in Photoshop CS6 permanently enlarge the insert again?

The problem is, whenever I insert eg a picture or want to create a font, this is as small as a point and each time when opening Photoshop CS6. Is there a way to solve the problem so that's the image a lot more bigger directly?

From your screen capture it looks like you Placed in an image into a new document as a smart object layer. When you open the new document you either selected a preset document size or you entered some custom setting the the document. The Document has a width and hieght pixel size and the document has a resolution DPI setting. Together they define the document print size in some units of measurement like inches, cc, mm etc. The Image you placed is also has a size its. Its resolution size may much different. Photoshop will match the placed image to you new open document. You need to be careful with the resolutions of the document you using Here is a screen capture to document both have the same number of pixels but different DPI resolution Both have the same RAW image placed in and the default place transform accepted.

Bridge CS6 can't open image with Photoshop CS6

I installed Bridge CS6 and Photoshop CS6 with my Mac Pro with drive 1, which was cloned with drive 2 as a backup.
Now every time I try to open my RAW file in Bridge, it opens the file with the Photoshop with drive 2 instead of 1.
I have tried to eject the drive 2, but Bridge (with drive 1) fails to find the Photoshop in drive 1.
I have to force to open the Photoshop CS6 before Bridge in order to open the image, is there a way to sovle this problem?

What have you done for trouble-shooting so far anyway? (Restoring Preferences after making sure all customized presets like Actions, Patterns, Brushes etc. have been saved might be a good starting point.)

Every time I try to open an image in Photoshop CS6 it freezes.

I try to open images up in CS6 and it freezes.
uninstalling program and then reinstalling it.. hopefully that helps.

Display drivers crashing and restarting after opening any image in Photoshop CS6. After that Photoshop CS6 doesn't respond.

I have just purchased Acer Aspire R7 (2nd Genre). I have installed Photoshop CS6 as trial. Now when I open any image or drag any image in Photoshop I get this error in the taskbar "Display driver stopped responding and has recovered". After that Photoshop doesnt respont and I have to force close it from task manager.
Can anyone guide me how to solve this issue?

Well, what more do you need to know? Update your graphics drivers and configure them suitably.

Can't Paste Images in Photoshop CS6

Hi,
I'm trying to copy images from File Explorer to Photoshop CS6, but when I press Ctrl+V nothing happens. When i go to Edit, Paste is grayed out.
Please help!
I am using Windows 8 64 bit.

Also, I can't drag and drop, and when I go to File > Open > Pictures only one folder shows up (Evolve) with nothing in it. Even though I have tons of other folders and images.

All of a sudden, when I'm cropping an image in Photoshop CS6, I get a spiral curl inside the image while I'm resizing it. I've never had this before and it's a bit annoying. How do I get rid of it?

Cropping Images In Photoshop CS6

I am trying to learn how to use photoshop cs 6.
However I've been watching a video and I just can't figure it out.
Here is the video that shows how to crop the images into same size.

Problem editing images in Photoshop CS6 with LR 4.1

I have Photoshop CS6 with the latest version of Camera Raw, 7.1.
However, when I attempt to open a file in Photoshop using the Edit > Open in Photoshop CS6 command, I get the following error message:
This version of Lightroom may require the Photoshop Camera Raw plug-in version 7.1 for full compatibility.
Why is this happening when I've already upgraded to Camera Raw 7.1?

I don't see a Camera Raw folder. I see a folder for Photoshop CS6, Extension Manager CS6 and Bridge CS6.
I updated by going to the Help menu in Photoshop and selecting "Updates..."
According to "System Info" in the Help menu, Camera Raw 7.1 is installed. It says:

Can't see images under Photoshop CS6 file icons.

I have installed PS CS6 and updated it to 7.2. I can see my images under Bridge file icons, but under PS file icons, the images are generic. What do I need to do in Photoshop? What does Bridge have that PS does not?

What he neglects to say is whether he updated Photoshop itself to version 13.0.1.

No image in Photoshop CS6

I am using the creative cloud version of CS6, I try to open an image, I can see the image title in the window tab, but no Image appears.

That's usually not an acceptable solution, just a workaround. You lose all the GPU-specific features with that setting.
If your GPU isn't performing properly under Photoshop's command, it's likely because your display driver is buggy.
Check the web site of the maker of your video card to see whether they have released a new driver (most do, regularly). If it's an ATI card, specifically seek out Catalyst 13.2 beta 5, which is known to work very well with Photoshop.
Also, you can try turning the GPU back on, but selecting one of the alternate modes (e.g., down to Basic or Normal from Advanced, if that's what it's set on).

Problem with image processor - photoshop cs6

Hi there .
I am trying to automate - image processor. From open files i am just trying to save theese pdf's as jpg's. Should be straight forward but I get this error...
"There were no source files that could be opened by Photoshop."
Anyone know why? I saw one google someone suggesting to reset the preferences or someting but I so not know how to do this or if it will help...

It look like both the Image Processor script and the Image Processor Pro script will not process open document that have no associated backing file. When you open a PDF file and use options for Photoshop to use opening the PDF the documents that open are new document the source PDF files have been processes into a new documents that have not been saved so the open document has no associated backing file.
I mad a simple test. Opened a PDF. Tried the two scripts they failed. Then I saved the open document and the ran the Image processor on the still open document that had been saved as a tif. The image processor worked and saved a jpg.
It may be possible to write a small script to save open Document as jpeg files and close the open documents or loop around the open document ring and just save document that have no backing file.
You could also try using Paul Riggott PDF Processor script to do it all....
