Photographic 360deg panorama

I am thinking of using 360 degree photo panoramas of gardens
on my website. There are many packages on the market.
would any one one of you have experience with these programs
and/or can recommend a package, which might be reasonably easy to
use and stable over different OSs?

I've recently been pointed at this although I haven't tried
it personally.

N515 problem with panorama photo

When saving panoramic photographs give mobile "operation failed", but only when shooting 4 images. Where is the problem? Restore factory settings does not help.

Thanks for the response, MusiCze. Your panorama photos are being saved on the SD card and not on the phone memory, is that right? If yes, have you tried using another SD card to save your photos and see if it'll go through? If the same issue happens, try recovering the phone's SW using the Lumia Software Recovery Tool. See this: How can I recover/reset/restore my phone software?.

Creating a Panorama - Automation via Automator or Applescript

Are there scrips or other Automaten tools that help with the creation of Panoramas in aperture? I am New on Aperture so I don't Know if there exist an integrated Tool or so.

Creating a panorama involves compositing images (creating a new image by combining two or more images, or text, or shapes). Aperture excels at RAW conversion, digital photograph development and publishing, and image storage and organization. In general, it is not a compositing tool.
Many users report creating panoramas using Hug-in. There are many other good tools out there. As far as I know, there are no plug-ins for creating panoramas.
I stack all images that I will use to create a panorama (or an HDR composite), and give them a color label. Then I export them, use whatever program does the job, then import the result and set it at the head of the stack as the "pick" and give it a different color label.

Creating Panoramas with Aperture

I am new to digital photography and i am considering Aperture 2 as an upgrade from iPhoto. I wish to know however if aperture can merge photos into panoramas, and if not is there a suitable plug in to accomplish this.

Welcome to the forum.
Aperture has no stitching features, and I know of no plug-ins for it. To be honest, though, even if there were you'd be better off with a dedicated stitching application such as PTGui or Autopano Pro, both of which will also do HDR at the same time as stitching.

PSE7 Windows XP: Editor crashes when using panorama?

Hi
I am a 1st time forum user so here goes.
I wish to photomerge 3 photographs in a new panorama file: Before it crashes a box appears with:-
Error1: unable to create window - internal error Line 364 ->var w = new windows (res)
I have done much research and others have experienced the same issues.
I have done some of the adobe fixes, but some of them are far too technical for me.
Looking for a solution, if there is one, please.
As throwing the PC out of the window is not an option at this time . (Not yet, any how)!

Try using Panorama without importing the photos from Organizer. Just open the photos from Editor and launch Panorama. This problem should not occur.

Rendu et transcodage des photos panoramiques : horriblement long

Bonjour,
Tous mes montages sont constitués de vidéos ET de photos panoramiques obtenues par assemblage (stitching avec Autopano Pro). Le résultat : souvent des images de très grande taille (20000x3000 pixels et 50 Mo environ), bref du très lourd.
Sur ces images j'applique essentiellement l'effet trajectoire (position et échelle).
Les rendus et les transcodages sont alors très très très longs (jusqu'à 40 voirs 50 minutes pour une durée de 1 minute sur la timeline). Le "monitoring" avec :
- GPU-Z pour la charge du GPU,
- Windows Gestionnaire de tâches (performances) pour la charge du processeur
montre alors que :
- le GPU ne travaille pas (GPU load = 0) mais la mémoire vidéo peut aller jusqu'à quasi saturation (99% - mon GPU possède 1280 Mo de VRAM - GTX 570),
- l'occupation de la RAM (24 Go) peut monter jusqu'à 99% de sa capacité (le système ne répond plus) mais le rendu puis le transcodage avancent quand même,
- le CPU n'est plus chargé qu'à 10 à 20% et encore sur un ou deux coeurs (CPU hexacore overclocké à 3,88 GHz pour 3,20 d'origine).
Question 1 : comment améliorer la performance sur ce type d'images sans :
- créer des images plus légères où la qualité risque de passer à la trappe,
- utiliser un logiciel spécifique pour créer des vidéos (format .mov HD par exemple) à partir des photos panoramiques (Photo to Movie de LQ Graphics).
Question 2 : le passage à un GPU avec 4 voire 6 Go de VRAM serait-il de nature à améliorer la chose ?
Question 3 : une amélioration importante du moteur Mercury serait-elle envisageable ?
J'oubliais : je travaille exclusivement en 1920x1080 pour créer des disques blu-ray de qualité max.

supérieure d'avertissement rouge" ont vu cette barre passer en jaune, le

développées en JPEG avec DxO Optics PRO 9 (

PTM est en fait assez rapide (en 15 minutes on arrive à la vidéo finale
prête à importer dans Première Pro CC, encore acceptable pour un "non
pro" comme moi).
Il ne reste qu'à convaincre Adobe de donner à Première Pro la capacité
d'animer et surtout rendre facilement des images de grands dimensions
(on peut rêver!!!).
- 4) "Whish form" : je l'ai déjà utilisée, pour l'instant sans résultat
apparent. Je l'ai utilisée pour signaler une erreur qui a été corrigée
mais partiellement (erreur de traduction).
- 5) demande d'une version Encore CC faite ce jour. Il ne reste qu'à

How do I use Panorama / Tab Groups with the keyboard?

Yes I know that CTRL-SHIFT-E opens the panorama window, and then I can use the mouse to organize my tabs into groups.
But how do I do this with the keyboard?

I have a brand new MacBook Air 11 inch, 4gb RAM and 256 gb SSD where the screen flickered abnormally and got dead all of a sudden while uploading a photograph in FB. Can anybody help?

I have a new MacBook Air 11 inch, 4gb RAM, 256 SSD and use Mavericks OS. It is still under waranty period.
Just few days ago while I was uploading a photograph in facebook, the screen started flickering abnoromally. I tried using the escape button but nothing was working so switched off by pressing the power button.
After few minutes I tried to switch it on but my system never waked up. Called up the Apple Support, did SMC and PRAM but nothing worked. Then I was advised to take it to Apple's authorised service centre.
At the service centre the engineers diagnoised and then said that the MLB/mother board needs to be replaced. Had waited for six-long days and today they had replaced the MLB/mother board. Now, the system came to life but nothing has booted. The screen goes white and a '?' question mark icon keeps on flickering.
After thoroughly diagnoising it the engineer said that now the problem is with the SSD and the worse thing is all my important documents and photographs etc are no more there. And I don't have a backup of the same!
While Apple Support contact centre is assuring they would replace any other parts if found faulty, but I feel differently. First, the MLB/mother board was changed now they say it is SSD problem - so if the SSD too is replaced there are possibilities of more faults coming up. All I can see and feel that this particular machine has turned out to be architectually deffective that calls for immediate replacement.
Right now I am using a friend's windows pc to write this mail.
Feeling completely miserable - all my expectatations gone after investing in such an expensive machine, loss of all my data, wastage of time and energy and to top it all affecting my daily work.
Can anybody please advise what shall I do?

How can I create a silky gauzy dress for a model in a photograph?

I am trying to create fabric, a long white flowing dress for a model in one of my photographs. Does any one have any tips for a relatively easy way to do this in Photoshop. She is in shorts and a tank top and I thought I could figure out an easy way to paint on a dress for her, but so far I am not having any luck....Thanks for any suggestions.

Painting a dress from scratch is most difficult, unless you are an artist with a lot of experience.
The much easier way is to search for a photograph of a dress you like, then cut and paste it to the new photo. The key here is to have both pictues with the same light angle so the shadows are in the right spot.
Once you get it pasted, click Ctrl T then size and rotate it. The next stop is to use edit/warp to reshape dress to fit model. You can fine tune it with puppet warp.
Final step is to erase any excess dress material and add body shadows as needed to match the original shot.
Take a New Snapshot every so often so if you make mistake you do not have to go back to square 1, but can restart at snapshot X. Save PSD every so often in case program crashes.

How can I upload a 360° Panorama Review on my Adobe Muse Website?

I need your help, because nobody knows, how I can upload a 360° Panorama Review on my Website. First I loaded the whole file folder (picture 1) with all the data files (images, index, tiles and so on) in the document root on the server (pic 2 + 3).
After that I went back to my website and clicked on data - place and placed only the SWF file on my homepage and then I upload it as FTP Host to the server. And now it looks so: www.gardendreams.com
But it should look like this: Gartenpflege & Gartengestaltung Limmattal Zürich | Natursteinarbeiten, Wasseranlagen, Garten Neugestaltung, Pflanzberatu…
What did I do wrong? Thank you very much for your help.

I received our wedding photos on a USB flash drive from our professional photographer. I am trying to get these photos on my ipad 4.

I have enough room on my ipad for all 600 photos.
I have tried to sync the photos through iTunes by choosing the USB drive on my computer. The folder appears empty.
I have purchased a lightning to USB camera kit and nothing happened once I plugged the USB into the ipad.
I thought since the lighting to SD card reader I've been using with my camera works maybe I'll try uploading a photo or two onto the SD card and use the lighting to SD card reader and do it that way. I see the photo I chose on the camera when the SD card is inserted into my desktop, but once I insert it into the camera kit on ipad it doesn't show up. The other photos I have taken show up but not the ones I copied over onto it show up.
I wonder if our photographer saved the photos in such a way to prevent me from syncing them? I have permission and the rights to use them so that's probably unlikely. The photos are saved as jpegs.
My other thought is maybe the photos are too large in size to upload onto the ipad? Is there a limit? Under properties they are listed around 400kb and 1800x1200 in dimension.
Please help! I'm wanting to make a photo book for the holidays as a gift with one of the ipad apps.

Many thanks for your question today.
I am happy to assist you in this process and this method of helping you today will not involve you using your Camera Connection Kit from Apple.
This method of downloading images onto the iPad requires the following items:
The USB
A computer/Mac with a USB Port
The iPad
iTunes (preferably iTunes 11, but it won't make much difference if you have iTunes 10)
Before we start I have based this resolution on the basis that you use:
iPad 4 with iOS 7.0.0 or better
iTunes 10 or better
Mac OS X Mountain Lion or better or Windows 7 or better
Here are my steps to resolve your issue:
Insert the USB drive into your computer and then go into the folder in windows explorer or finder where the images are saved on your USB.
Save all the images from the USB under one folder on your own folder in your document/image folders (not on the USB). On the Hard Drive
Remove your USB stick from your computer
Insert your iPad with the lightning connector into your Mac/PC.
When iTunes pops up click on the iPad icon/textbox - it may say (i.e. Name's iPad). (If iTunes does not pop up open it up manually by clicking twice on the icon on your desktop or Dock Taskbar).
Click on Photo's Tab and the tick the tick box for: sync photos from
Click my pictures (located next to sync photos from), then navigate around your folders until you choose the folder where you copied your images from the USB stick to and once you have found the folder click select folder.
Press sync.
Go to your iPad once it has synced and log in, click on photos then albums (located bottom right of the menu/screen) then click on the Album of the images - (its name will be what the Album's name was on your computer).
Your images should be located there.
If this resolution does not work, you have three other options
Try the solution provided by the gentleman above using the Camera Connection Kit
Call Apple - American number is 1800-MY-APPLE (1800-692-7753) and go through to AppleCare for iPad
Take the USB and iPad to your closest Apple Store and get a Genius to look and possibly fix the problem.

How do I use panorama

Hi I tried to use Panorama on my camera on my 4S today, and not sure I'm doing it right. I hit the options button then panarama, then hit the camera button and moved slowly as specified but it didnt see to work.
