Photohop CS6 Update to 13.0.2 breaks keyboard input and shortcuts

Hi,
I just got the new update to 13.0.2 and after installing it Photoshop doesn't recognize keyboard input as expected? Shortcuts are not working anymore. Input values are not recognized. Text editing not possible anymore. etc.
And: When I start Photoshop I get the following trial info:
Master Collection trial. 32767 DAYS REMAINING
Thats over 89 years – I can live with that. ;-)
But there is something wrong with that update, that makes it impossible to continue my work.

PS: Is it possible to uninstall this update or do I have to uninstall Photoshop at all?

In the meantime I did a system restart and several Photoshop restarts. Finally some weirdness is gone. Trial mode seems to be gone and Photoshop seems to be activated again.
Two thing left:
1. I do have a text element, for instance, thats acting weird. The screenshot shows two "Login" text items with exactly the same settings for font and size. But they are displayed differently.
Easy fix: delete the weirdo and create a new one. But still worth mentioning, I think.
2. One of my favorite shortcuts is gone. cmd+alt+0 (num pad) to set zoom to 100%
Easy fix: set the shortcut again via Edit > Keyboard shortcuts …
Sorry for panicking, but I was really worried to lose the day looking at installers. ;-)

Security Update 2007-04 Broke my Mouse/Keyboard Settings and Login Items

Any help would be more than appreciated; this is not a tragic issue, but it's annoying and I dislike having things broken, especially because this old Mac has been pretty much trouble-free for me over the years.
On the first reboot after installing Security Update 2007-04 in OS X 10.4.9 I noticed that my login items (iCal, A-Dock) did not launch, and that my mouse cursor and keyboard speed settings had reverted to the default "slow" speeds.
The login items were still present in their normal place (System > Accounts > Login Items), but do not launch after a login/logout or reboot. (The items launch fine manually, though.) Similarly, I can change the keyboard and mouse settings (both are Apple Pro devices), but these settings revert upon rebooting.
As per usual I repaired permissions immediately before and after installing Security Update, and I had nothing running while the update was in progress. I tried deleting and resetting the login items to no avail; the new choices appear in system preferences, but do not launch anything on login.
I've cleared all caches using Yasu, I reinstalled 10.4.9 using the Combo updater, and still I go back to square one when I reboot. I even deleted ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.loginwindow.plist and ~/Library/Preferences/loginwindow.plist ; that didn't do anything, either.

So, reinstalling the combo 10.4.9 didn't fix it, neither did installing today's Apple Security Update 2007-004v1.1, neither did resetting the PRAM, neither did numerous series of cache clearing, nor deleting all login startup items.
Any ideas, folks? Apart from simply not restarting (which I seldom need to do anyway), I don't like having things broken, and having to reset my mouse and keyboard speed settings after a restart is tedious, let along not having anything launch automatically.

The latest update to Word 2011 changes my keyboard preferences, and I don't want it to do that

I work in two languages and I use an Italian keyboard. My normal keyboard preference setting is Italian (indicated by a little Italian flag at the right of the menu bar).
But since I installed the latest update to Office 2011, every time I open Word, it changes my keyboard preference to English (the little flag at the right of the menu bar changes to the British flag).
Is there a way to prevent it from doing this? It didn't happen before. It only happens in Word 2011 (not PowerPoint 2011 or Excel 2011)

DesertKristin: I too am hitting the same wall and the links provide by Adobe Forum Staff do not address this CS6 issue (the above 3 links are not bearing fruit).
I am now trying to download the specific item I am interested in updating per Re: Update runs into Errors from this page: Product updates
So while this may not stop the spew of errors on an automatic universal update from within the app, I can at least isolate what I need and get that updated. (In my case it was Illustrator I wanted updated.)

Downloading CS6 updates

I have been trying to download CS6 updates; however I get to about 60% download and the download fails. I have tried with my virus protection off and this made no difference.

Without proper system information or even knowing what programs you are referring to nobody can say anything.

If the crash started right after you added RAM, it could be a bad Ram dimm. You can try this - change the amount of RAM in Photoshop to 4G, this should stop Photoshop from using the higher ram. If it doesn't crash, it's probably the ram. Or run a diagnostic app. You don't say when it crashes, what you're doing when it crashes - it there a pattern? Did it ever work on this computer? Did it work on your previous computer? Without a lot of data, it could be related to the new computer... What OS version? Did you recently update it? Have you updated Photoshop to the most recent update?
Do you have any plug-ins loaded? Try restarting Photoshop, and immediately press & hold the shfit key to turn off plug-ins.

I have asked the same question a year ago and again just a week ago. It seems that nobody knows and nobody cares. I suggest we should try to find a group of people who share this problem and try to seek support from a international consumer rights institution if such institution exists.
Only explanation I can think of is that either the updaters are poorly coded or more obviously some users combination of software and firewall/anti-virus is just too much for the updaters. I've tried to make special rules with my Norton, but without success. Most probably you'll be adviced to try different versions of updaters or get involded with endless uninstall and install operations. Intersesting to follow how this case unfolds.
