Photolab won't give me my print!?
I am a graphic design student. My assignment was to redesign a package, I chose to do Nutrigrain Cereal bars and I made them organic. I used Illustrator and designed a new box, had it printed on cardstock at Officemax and folded it up. As part of our final portfolio in school we were to take a photo of our new pkg. with props (I had some wheat in the pic next to box) and use the photo in our portfolio to show pkg redesign assignment. I sent my dig file of pic to Walmart photo lab and when I went to pick it up, they treated me like a criminal telling me I violated federal copyright law and were very rude and refused to give me my picture! They would not explain to me what they were talking about, they just gave me a brochure about copyright law, and all it says is about not being able to reprint photos from photographers. Can anyone explain this to me? My professor can't believe it. None of my classmates had problems getting theirs printed. What the ?????

This type of problem has been going on for years.
Commercial photographers were tired of being ripped off by their customers scanning a photo or even a proof and then sending the photo off to you-name-the-photofinisher to have prints made. Pressure was placed on the mass market photofinishers (such as Walmart, drug store chains,etc.) to not do such reprinting under threat of class action lawsuits.
Unfortunately, many such mass market photofinishers took the simple route in terms of complying. Any digital photo that looks "too good" is obviously a copy of some professional's work because professionals either print their own or go to professional photofinishers. It is simply CYA. Talking to a clueless manager will probably not help. As long as they don't "keep" your original digital image (I assume you still have a copy!) and don't charge you for printing what they won't give you, they are in the legal clear.
Similar problems to what you have experienced have been discussed ad nauseum on various on-line forums, especially the Digital Photography Review (DPReview.com) website.
Two takeaways from this:
(1) You've been complimented on the quality of your photography, even if by a Walmart clerk.
(2) Find a professional photofinisher. Tell them exactly what it is you are printing (tell them about the project). It will cost you more, but at least you will get your prints.

To clear cache and cookies do the following:

My WRT110 Wireless router won't give me a connection to my DSL internet.
I am setting up a home network that includes 2 laptops, 1 DSl modem, 1 wireless (WRT110) router, and 1 printer. The DSl internet is brand new as well and i just got it working as far as for connecting to the internet using a ethernet cord. My next step was to add the wireless router into the mix and allow the laptops to go wireless. I complete the WRT110 wireless router setup wizard and it finishes with it saying i have complete. However, it won't give me the internet signal to where i can connect to the internet (i am still using all 1394 cords and haven't attempted to go wireless yet, figured i should get the connection working before i try to connect wireless). All the lights on the DSL modem are green and its acting like i have a good connection. All the lights on my new router are green (well blue since it is the new kind of router) but still no connection. On a side note, since the wizard was complete i just took a shot in the dark and tried to connect going wireless and both laptops recognize the wireless router and can get a perfect signlal from it. However, when i try and connect to the network it sets there for a long time trying to "aquire network address" then wont connect. I would appreciate any guidance anyone can give me. Thank you

I just moved into a house where they have a router at one end of the house and I live down stairs at the other end of the house. I have my own ruoter so I hooked it up and I had a wireless connection but no internet. I have spent the last 3 days reading blogs on connecting 2 routers. Today I hit upon yours and you gave the IP address to get into the links page settings for the router. Every page tells you how to do what you say but non of them gave the IP address. Again THANK YOU FOR BEING SO KIND TO US NEWBE'S. Yes I was shouting that. I wish everyone would give answers not as though they are talking to someone knows what they are doing but spell it out as if we know nothing cause you never know who may be reading it in the feture.
Any how I now have internet on both routers Now my question is cause it's still a low connection. Is there a way to have one wireless router pick up a signle without a cat 6 cable?
I have my landlords Comcast Internet going to his WRT54G router.
His Router is routed with a 50' cat 9 cable to my WRT54G by the main door upstairs they are about 20' apart would like to move my ruoter down stairs, but the landlord does not want me to string wire downstiars from his router.
Where my question comes in can I connect one WRT54G wirelessly to the other?
I know simple answer is no!

Go to Store > View My Account > Edit Purchase Info. Then just click "No credit card" and hit Okay, and it will remove all of the info. Good luck.

I use an external hard drive as a Time Machine back up, but I want to use another external hard drive to save movies, photos on it, but it won't give me the option to save anything on the new external hard drive. Nothing is wrong with the external hard.

I'm editing a 24 page booklet which was done about a year ago in another version of Pages. When I open it now in Pages 5.0.1 it comes up as single pages. My question is how do I get it back to a facing pages format to give to the printer?
Export to Pages 09 and use that. Version 5.1 lacks the ability to use alternating left/right margins and many,many other features that are present in Pages 09. Pages 5.1 adds back a vertical ruler ( why ever was it omitted?) but still lacks about 90--that's nine zero, as in "nearly 100"-- features that were in Pages 09. My ipod 4G won't connect to my wifi at home with new router. Says "unable to connect" and won't give me any other options. Have tried resetting network connections. I don't want to lose anything. I have tried turning everything off and back on again. Desktop and laptop are working fine. Sometimes it turns on suddenly and I can use it for like 20 mins but then shuts off again. Did the iOS device connect before?
Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on your router
.- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem and it does not connect to any networks make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

I cannot install iTunes 10.5. I can download it, but when I go to install it says that a program cannot be run and it won't give the name of the program. I have the Windows Vista 64-bit system.
That would be my first guess. You might be trying to install the 32 bit version of the program.
Update the thread with more info on your apple software etc if its a 64 bit install you're trying to perform. -

PC won't ommunnicate with WIFI Printer
I have an HP 5060 J610 WIFI printer tht I have been using frequently. To day the PC won't communicate with the printer, up to and including not allowing me to delete the priner/driver and re-create it.
I can print to the printer from my iPhone, an iOS device, as well as my Nook tablet, an Andriod device. Further, fom the PC, I can point my web browser to the IP address of the Printer and via HP's Embedded Web Service, successfully print to the printer.
In short, there is no problem with the printer. I beleive there is a OS lock on WIFI port of the PC. FYI - I'm running Windows 8.1.
How can I see/work-with the ports?

if you dont have the options to forget network you can reset your network settings, but than the device forget all networks

I downloaded an album but one of the songs is corrupted, it only plays for about 4 seconds. When I try to re-download using the iTunes Store and "Purchased", it won't give me the option to download it again. How can I get the song I PAID for!!??
Depending upon what country that you are in (music can't be re-downloaded in all countries) then try deleting that track from your iTunes library and redownload it via the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes.
