Photomerge lightroom 5.5 and photoshop CC 2014
Bonjour,
Je n'arrive plus a faire de photomerge depuis la mise à jours de photoshop CC en version 2014 (et de lightroom en 5.5), lorsque je clic sur "fusion panorama dans Photoshop"
Photoshop CC 2014 s'ouvre et puis reste sans document ouvert et sans fenêtre de fusion panorama qui s'ouvre.
(j'ai essayé avec de nouvelle photo et d'ancienne (que j'ai déjà fusionné il y a 15 jours))
Que faire ?

J'ai corrigé le problème en désinstallant photoshop et lightroom, puis en redémarrant et en les réinstallant (on est contant d'avoir le bouton "synchroniser du cloud après ça)

I installed Photoshop CC (2014) yesterday through the Creative Cloud app. Now, when in Lightroom when I go to "edit in"and select Photoshop CC (2014) and click on "edit copy with Lightroom adjustments", it opens Photoshop CC (2014) but my photo doesn't show up? My photo does show up when I click on "edit copy" or "edit original".
How can I correct that so that I can open up a photo from Lightroom WITH the Lightroom adjustments? Thanks!I'm having a similar problem, but only with jpg's. I have PS CS6, CC, and CC 2014. Other image file formats function normally with regard to the "open with" list. PS CC 2014 appears on the list. But with jpg's only PS CC appears on the "open with" list and 2014 can't be added by the browsing for it.
The curious thing is that if I have any of the three versions of Photoshop open, click on Photoshop CC in the "open with" list, the image opens in whatever version is already open on my computer. This is true of all image formats. No matter which version I pick from the "open with" list it opens in the currently running program. I use only the latest version so keeping it open all the time is an easy work around. I won't uninstall any of the earlier versions lest more file association quirks result. it would be nice to have this matter fixed. -
I'm trying to export a raw image from lightroom 5.6 to Photoshop cc 2014 2.1. I right click to export menu in lightroom as I've always done to export to Photoshop. Photoshop opens, but it can't open file, window opens to find a file to open. I'd like this to export my lightroom images to edit in photoshop as it has always been able to do for me. What fix do you recommend?

The Initial view setting works perfectly when the file is opened in Acrobat after setting the desired Initial View.
When you upload the file onto Wordpress, and view it on that website in the browser...it might be using a different pdf handler program which might be causing this issue ( it would be helpful, if you could provide the screenshot) , however when you download the pdf again from wordpress server...and open in Acrobat/Reader...then what exactly happens ? Does the pdf opens in the desired Initial View setting?

CC shows two versions of Photoshop: Photoshop CC and Photoshop CC (2014)
My CC subscription shows two versions of Photoshop. I tried to open both versions. Photoshop CC opened, Photoshop CC (2014) would not. I deleted it. Now CC shows one update available: Photoshop CC (2014). Anyone know what CC is doing?

We have all seen the transition over time of the way software updates happen. I remember virus programs doing things like:
It has been two weeks since I checked for updated virus signatures. Shall I check now? Yes
There is a new virus signature available. Shall I download it? Yes
I have downloaded the new virus signature. Shall I install it? Yes
I have installed the new virus signature, but must restart the virus program to use it. Shall I do that? Yes
I have rebooted the virus program and all is fine. OK.
I was really enjoying how Adobe would update the versions of their products in the Creative Cloud, and waiting for the day I'd have to trigger the activity. What I'd like is for Adobe to just do it. The way Apple has sort of standardized app updating is that you can adjust a setting and it will install updates automatically. Many vendors have a "What's new" screen that opens the first time after upgrading so you can see what's new. In the case when your concurrence is needed before installation, the upgrade is downloaded in the background and some descriptive information is provided so you can decide if you want to do it (this is typically for IOS major upgrades).
Adobe didn't handle the Photoshop CC to Photoshop CC (2014) well. I was very happy to lose the designator of which version I have. The version I want is: Latest. The two versions appeared (Photoshop CC and Photoshop CC (2014)) without explanation. John's instructions (above) indicated that you need to uninstall Photoshop CC, shut down and then restart the Creative Cloud App, then download and install the new version. Why did I have to go through a forum entry when Adobe could have simply put a line under Photoshop CC (2014) that said "Important: read this" and then provided an explanation of what's going on and how to do it. (BTW, that is a mediocre solution. The right solution would be to tell you what's up and then give you the option to click on a button which would have triggered all the steps to replace one version with the other.)
So, bottom line, I have never been an Adobe fan. I moved to Lightroom because of the Photography special offer and I am hooked. Updating Lightroom to support iPads and iPhones was just super. My expectations soared. This update didn't meet them.

After installation of latest Bridge and Photoshop version (2014.2.2) *.CR2 files will not be displayed correctly anymore, neither in preview nor in Camera Raw dialogue.
Some pictures have white squares with blue and red diagonal stripes that cover almost the complete picture.
When opening those files I have the same problem in Camera Raw dailogue and even in Photoshop eventually.
I tried to open the same same pictures on another computer with the same version of Bridge and Photoshop but the problem remains the same.
It seems like the files itselves are still ok, because if you open an explorer window the previews of the pictures are all ok. And the pictures' sizes remain the same.
I tried to clear the cache in both programs but it didn't help.
Has anyone an idea????First see if a reboot of your PC helps. If not,
Resets may be in order:
Photoshop: Press and hold Control - Shift - Alt immediately upon cold-starting Photoshop. If you get the keys down quickly enough - and you have to be VERY quick - it will prompt you to confirm deletion of your established preferences, which will lead to them all being set to defaults.
Bridge: Start Adobe Bridge and immediately press Ctrl+Alt+Shift (Windows) or Command+Option+Shift (Mac OS) until the Reset Settings dialog box appears. Select all three options--Reset Preferences, Reset Standard Workspaces, and Purge Entire Thumbnail Cache--and then click OK.
Outdated graphics drivers can also cause display problems. Go to your GPU maker's website and be sure you have the latest drivers for your card model. -
Using Lightroom 5.5 and Photoshop CC2014. Images no longer open in Photoshop when using "edit in" command. Photoshop opens but no image when trying to move between LR and PS. Any suggestions?
1. You have allowed Apple to auto-upgrade your Mac
Turn off auto-update here:
Menu > Apple > System Preferences > App Store
2. The Icons on your dock are Aliases not real apps
They point to where the apps really are which is:
For Pages 5.2.2 in your Applications folder
For Pages '09 in your Applications/iWork folder
3. You are alternately opening documents randomly with either version of Pages
Both Pages have the same file extension .pages and there is no certainty as to which version opens them when you double click on a file.
right click on the file and choose which version you want to open it
4. Pages '09 can not open Pages 5 files
Pages 5 can not open Pages '08 files, and will convert and change Pages '09 and Word files.
It will also auto save opened files into its own format.
You can export these back to Pages '09 if you need to:
Menu > File > Export > Pages '09
5. Yes Pages 5.2.2 is a marked downgrade
Pages 5.2.2 has a few improvements but has had over 110 features removed and is buggy.
Sooner or later you will not be able to open a file or have it damaged in some way and it has a complex obscure file format largely incompatible with everything else, so you will not be able to rescue the contents of your file. If Pages or some third party server/eMail don't trash your file, eventually Apple will do it for you as it did when it released Pages 5 last September. I recommend using Pages '09 for the time being whilst you look for viable alternatives, some are here already and some are on the way.

Lightroom 4.3 and Photoshop CS5 Crashing
For several months, I have been trying to troubleshoot random blue-screen crashes when (and only when) using Lightroom 4.3 and Photoshop CS5 in Windows 7 64-bit. The Windows stop error code is always 124 (hardware related). The crash dump files have not provided much help. They just keep referring to "ntoskrnl.exe" and "hal.dll" as possible causes, but that doesn't help isolate specific hardware. Without going into all the excrutiating details of what I have done to try to find a hardware problem, I am now 99% sure that hardware is NOT causing the crashes. I recently ran "Who Crashed, Professional Edition 4.01" to analyze the crash dump files. It identified "cameraraw.dll" and "tliadjust50.dll" (a file installed byTopaz Labs plug-ins Adjust 4, DeNoise 5, and Fusion Express 2) as possible causes of the crashes. I would like to refresh "cameraraw.dll" to determine if it is in fact causing the problem. My question is how to replace my existing "cameraraw.dll" file with a new one. Can I just download a new "cameraraw.dll" file (from where?) and replace my existing "cameraraw.dll"? Or, do I have to reinstall LR4 and/or CS5 to refresh "cameraraw.dll"? I really hope I don't have to do that, because I think I would probably have to also reinstall all the third-party plug-ins and extensions I have installed to work with LR4 and CS5, and that would be a major pain. Does anyone have any suggestions/

I'm running Lightroom 2.7 and Photoshop CS4 and can't open or import NEF files from a Nikon D600
Need help understanding why the NEF files created by my D700 work fine in both Lightroom 2.7 and Photoshop CS4, but the same file format created by a Nikon D600 keep getting a unkown error when I try to import or open them.
You can either upgrade Lightroom or use Adobe's Free DNG Converter to make a backwards-compatible file for LR 2.x to read. New camera support is only effected on current versions of LR and Adobe Camera Raw and your version(s) do not support the D600.

Posterization in Lightroom 4.4 and Photoshop CS6
I'm struggling with posterization in Lightroom 4.4 and Photoshop CS6. I'm shooting RAW on a Nikon D800. Unedited bright sunset photos show nasty posterization. Screenshot is included, unedited. Any suggestions on what to do about this?

It would be difficult to take this picture without blowing out the brightest areas. The Highlights slider is what you want to use to recover the blown posterized areas. Feel free to set it to -100 if necessary. You may also need to reduce the Whites slider, which sets the Highlight clipping point. Looking at the LR default settings Histogram the Black level is very high, which may be due to lens flare. Either way using a lower in-camera exposure setting would help to retain highlight detail. -
Attempting to update Bridge CC and Photoshop CC 2014 from the Creative Cloud program generates error "Unable to extract the downloaded files. Press Retry to download again.(U44M1I210). I am running Windows 7. Previous traffic on this topic has not helped my situation.
Please clean AAM cache By deleting following folder contents:
For Mac:
· /Volumes/%Volume Name%/Users/%Username%/Library/Application Support/Adobe/AAMUpdater/1.0
For Win:
· C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Adobe\AAMUpdater\1.0
Then try running Updates.

Keywording problem in Lightroom 2.4 and Photoshop CS4
I'm experiencing a problem with keywording in Lightroom 2.4 and Photoshop CS4. When i export a batch of photos that were keyworded in LR to the desk top then open a photo in PS I find only one keyword when I look through the "file info" menu item. Any ideas on how I might resolve this problem or what I may be doing wrong.
Many thanks in advance.Make sure that you have the keywords setup so that they will export. You can check by right clicking on a keyword in the Keyword List panel and choosing Edit Keyword Tag. The dialog shown below should open and should see a checkmark against Include on Export and Export Containing Keywords. It's fairly easy to get this wrong when working with hierarchical keywords.
Also, you can configure the Keywording panel so that it shows which keywords will be assigned when image is exported. -
I currently have 2 Apps for each App. ie: Photoshop CC and Photoshop CC (2014). How can I delete the Older versions from my List ?

In Photoshop CC 2014 there are several new feature introduced than CC.

When you go to Help>About Photoshop then Photoshop 2014 shows version 2014.0.0 Release.
