Photos burned on a disk come out printed blurry

HI I need help, i dont use my printer to print photos i send a disc to a local Kodaks, the thing is is that i choose the photos then i click BURN, once thats finished and i go to print them they come out blurry ,( Not to mention the faces that increase my pictures 3 times ) not as clear this is driving me crazy , now when i read on I photo help it said i should export to a file outside of i photo before i burn, is this necessary? If so why is the burn option on my I photo toolbar if it were not to be used? PLease help since I love to have my photos printed professionally and its getting frustrating. Thank you very much, waiting for your reply.

Do not use the iPhoto burn command - that makes a mini iPhoto library suitable only for use by iPhoto - select the photos you want to print and export them (file menu ==> export) to a desktop folder and burn that folder to a disk - then delete the desktop folder
now when i read on I photo help it said i should export to a file outside of i photo before i burn, is this necessary?
Humm - you already had the answer - of course doing it the right way is necessary.

Step one in avoiding frustration - follow instructions -- +"when i read on I photo help it said i should export to a file outside of i photo before i burn"+

  • Burning playlist to disk comes out alphabetically.

Burning a playlist to disk comes out alphabetically.  How can I made it numerical, like the songs are arranged in the playlist?

Thankyou for your advice... Although after fiddling around with it last night, I actually found out how to do it
The only thing that confuses me is that I can no longer burn to disk a playlist that I have created for the iPod itself, but instead I now have to copy that playlist into the playlist folder at the bottom of the left hand pane and copy it from there... But at least I have it working now Thankyou.

  • My problem is that after printing the first photo or picture, when I come to print a second, both the Colour Management and Epson Colour Controls are greyed out and showing No Colour Management

I have recently purchased a Mac computer (updated to Maverick) to go with my Epson Stylus Photo RX500 printer which has given excellent service with my old Windows computer. However, when trying to print pictures or photos via Photoshop Elements 11, the best results I can get are using the Colour Management and Epson Colour controls in the printing options box.
My problem is that after printing the first photo or picture, when I come to print a second, both the Colour Management and Epson Colour Controls are greyed out and showing No Colour Management, The only way I can reset the controls is to shut down the printer and computer and restart.
Could there may be a setting somewhere that I need to adjust please?  I have been in touch with Epson and they say that the Epson Colour controls are part of the Photoshop Elements software but a post on the Adobe forum brought no results and I am unable to contact Adobe.

Hello Garry. Thanks for the reply. I guess I should have used a different title from "How do I post a question?" That should come after trying to resolved the colour settings first. However, to answer your question, after experimenting with all the different settings in Photoshop Elements and Epson software, I now start with PSE11 Colour settings then click "no colour management" then after clicking Print, I choose "More Options/Colour Management/Colour Handling/Printer Manages Colour" then I choose "Page Setup/Layout/Colour Matching" which then shows Epson Colour Controls but I also choose "Layout/Colour Management" which then shows "Colour Controls/Mode" I then of course choose an Epson printer profile depending on the paper I am using. I get good results but as I said, the Colour Matching and Colour Controls are then greyed out. Hope that makes sense.

  • How come when I try to look at my photos in Iphoto a triangle comes out with an exclamation mark and I cannot see my photo?

How come when I try to look at my photos in iphoto a triangle comes out with an exclamation mark? Does this mean that I have lost all of my photos? Is there any way to fix this?
    Thanks to all...

It means that iPhoto has broken the link/file path to the original file.
Apply the two fixes below in order as needed:
    Fix #1
1 - launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
2 - run Option #4 to rebuild the database.
    Fix #2
Using iPhoto Library Manager  to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
1 - download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
2 - click on the Add Library button and select the library you want to add in the selection window..
3 - Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the Library ➙ Rebuild Library menu option.
4 - In the next  window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
5 - Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments but not books, calendars or slideshows. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.

The front camera displays a reversed image on the screen, as if you were looking into a mirror.  When you take a picture, it comes out normal, which is backwards to what you would have observed on the screen.

    Hi @deafchubbbear77,
    Welcome to the HP Forums!
I'll do my best to help with your Deskjet 3052a not printing black ink
Please start with the steps within this Fixing Print Quality Problems for the HP Deskjet 3050A (J611) All-in-One Printer Series document.
If that doesn't seem to do the trick you may want to try cleaning the cartridge contacts, but make sure to just use water. Alcohol will dry out the contacts and may cause further problems in the future.
If that still doesn't work, that black cartridge may need to be replaced. To see if it's eligible for replacement, contact our technical support team via phone and inquire.

  • Sometimes I take a photo on 4S and it comes out white with no picture.

Sometimes I take a photo from my 4S and even with removing the cover, the photo still appears blank - a white screen.
Anyone can advise why this is happening?

    Hello rebeccay1,
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
It's hard to say exactly what is causing the issue without doing any troubleshooting.  The article below has great troubleshooting steps to go through in order to resolve this issue.
    Camera
Camera isn't functioning or has undesired image quality
If the screen shows a closed lens or black image, force quit the Camera app.
If you do not see the Camera app on the Home screen, try searching for it in Spotlight. If the camera does not show up in the search, check to make sure that Restrictions are not turned on by tappingSettings > General > Restrictions.
Ensure the camera lens is clean and free from any obstructions. Use a microfiber polishing cloth to clean the lens.
Cases can interfere with the camera and the flash. Try gently cleaning the lens with a clean dry cloth or removing the case if you see image or color-quality issues with photos.
Try turning iPhone off and then back on.
Tap to focus the camera on the subject. The image may pulse or briefly go in and out of focus as it adjusts.
Try to remain steady while focusing:
Still images: Remain steady while taking the picture. If you move too far in any direction, the camera automatically refocuses to the center.
Note: If you take a picture with iPhone turned sideways, it is automatically saved in landscape orientation.
Video: Adjust focus before you begin recording. You can also tap to readjust focus while recording. Exiting the Camera application while recording will stop recording and will save the video to the Camera Roll.
Note: Video-recording features are not available on original iPhone or iPhone 3G.
If your iPhone has a front and rear camera, try switching between them to verify if the issue persists on both.
    Take care,
    Alex H.

  • Why do my pics come out blue and hazy when i use my flash on my phone

Is there something i can do to keep my  pics come out blue and hazy when i have my flash on?

It could be the case you are using.  If your iPhone is in a case, take it out of the case and try taking a flash photo again.  If it comes out ok, you may want to get another case.  Look for a case with a larger camera hole.  If you are using a transparent case make sure it is painted black around the camera hole.

  • Photos come out real dark when printed on various printers

Im really unsure if this is an Indesign problem or not but most everything I do is created in InDesign along with Photoshop, Acrobat, and other Adobe products.  Im just out of ideas on what the problems could be so thought I would take a crack at Adobe being the problem?  I just dont know!
When I print things out on our high end Xerox color printer, things tend to come out more on the darker side.  Its mostly noticable with photographs but it can also be seen in general solid colors also.  I generally make the printer print 85% lighter from its settings and things will usually come out acceptable.
When I send files to out digital plate maker, usually as black/grayscale, the photographs will always come out real dark.  For this, I have to over compensate by editing each photo individually so they no longer look normal on my screen, but overly faded just so it will look properly on our DPM.
This is something I have been dealing with for several years and though its basically a part of life now, I still cant stand it!  All drivers, patches, and firmware is updated, printer color is calibrated, even paid techs to figure it out...nothing!  For both our standard black and white printers, these files usually print out ok, all photos look just as good as they do on screen.
Well we just got a new large color plotter machine for printing large banners and signs.  I dont operate it but the one who does seem to know his stuff.  He said his program will only work with EPS files.  I had created a press quality PDF from InDesign that I then converted to EPS as well as creating an EPS directly from InDesign.  All files looked nice and bright on both my screen as well as his.  On his first sample printout on the plotter, the images came out dark!!!!!  Why????  We made new files where again, I overcompensated by fading the photos out bigtime to where they look horrible on screen but printed out mostly ok on the machine.
This cant be the normal way things are done, Is this an InDesign problem or what???  Any suggestions would be great because we are out of ideas!

I believe Xerox ships the EyeOne spectrohotometer. The companion software for that is Eye-One Match, which gets installed on your computer. I don't know if that's included. If it is, the software will lead you through adjusting the monitor and will then record a profile and associate it with the monitor. Adobe apps will use that profile to display color on screen. Each monitor needs to be profiled -- generic profiles shipped on the install disk for the monitor are useless in a color critical workflow, they match some hypothetical average monitor, or one that was pulled off the assembly line long before yours was built, and every monitor is unique in how it displays a give set of color numbers.
There should be some icc profiles on the support disks for the printers. These are the output profiles you need to target in ID, or you need to output as a standard RGB profile like Adobe RGB and let the RIP do the conversion internally to the Xerox color space.
This is a pretty complex thing to explain in detail here. You should read the Color Management section of the help files, any documentation that came with the Fiery, and I highly recommend Real World Color Management by Olav Kvern and David Blatner which is easy to read without a lot of technical jargon, and clearly explains both the theory and practice of color management in the real world (though it's now a few years old).

What version of iPhoto and system are you running?  On the guess that you're running the latest iPhoto, 9.4.2, Try the following:
1 - launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the thumnails, Option #2.
2 - It may take 2-3 attempts so don't give up after only one attempt.
