Photos do not Appear in "Photo Settings" Preview

I am currently creating a "photo essay" (just a fancy name for slideshow) using iMovie. As this project contains no video, it is important that I use the "Ken Burns Effect"to make the slideshow interesting. However, after selecting a clip to edit, choosing "photos" from the media tab, and clicking "show photo settings," a black screen appears in the preview. This is odd because when I tried it in class, on this same machine, it worked just fine. Any input is greatly appreciated.

iMovie 6 has quite a few bugs. One bug causes the preview of a previouslyimported photo to show black after emptying the iMovie Trash.

Material item text not appearing in PO Print Preview

Hi experts,
We have created a new PO type . We have assigned it with PO text via Spro>Purchasing>Purchase Order > Message > Text for messages > define text for purchase order
Maintained text for document header
Maintained text for document item
But still in Purchase Order , the material PO text at item level , is not appearing at the time of print preview / print out.
Please suggest .

If I understand correctly, you want to copy the purchase order text from the material master directly into the PO's for this material.
I got the same problem; text appears in PO item text, but doesn't appear on print preview.
=> check your forms first
=> if you can't find an error here, check the copying control in
SPRO -> Materials Management -> Purchasing -> Purchase Order -> Texts for purchase orders -> Define copying rules for item texts
go to the text linkages of the text type that you want to see appearing
=> make sure that the entries with source object 'material master' have the Fix value (blank) rather than N or * (if you see the text appearing in the PO but not on the print out, this means that this setting is currently set on *)

Numbers not appearing in iCloud Settings

I was just looking through the settings on my iPhone 4S running iOS 7.0.4 and discovered that Nubmers was not displayed as an option in iCloud. Keynote and Pages both display just fine.
I went to settings for Numbers and turned iCloud off and reset my phone. Went back into settings for Numbers and turned iCloud back on. Numbers still doesn't appear in iCloud settings. If I turn iCloud off it says all documents stored on my phone will be deleted. Will they be restored to my phone when I turn iCloud back on?
And what would the next troubleshooting step for this be?

Photo Settings Preview is black screen

I am unable to edit the Ken Burns effect on any still image in a slideshow. When I open the dialog the preview window is black. This is the same for all 50 or so images, but if I replace them with the originals, the new ones are fine... for a few minutes. The problem reoccurs. I have deleted all the normal files, including those for iMovie and QuickTime. I have also worked from another account as well as repaired permissions.
Any suggestions? Thank you.

Have you been parking your edited clips in the right-hand clips panel? My observation has been that once a clip (I'm talking about still images having been KB rendered) is moved to there from the timeline, it will no longer be editable.

I need to update my software, but "software update" does not appear under General/settings.

The Settings > General > Software Update option only appears when you have iOS 5+ installed, if you have iOS 4 then you will need to do the update via your computer's iTunes.
Connect the iPad to your computer's iTunes and copy any purchases off the iPad to your computer via File > Transfer Purchases. You may also want to copy photos and any important documents off the iPad as well e.g. via the file sharing section at the bottom of the device's apps tab when connected to iTunes, via wifi, email, dropbox etc - they should be included in the backup, but it's best to have a copy of them outside of the backup just in case. You can then force a backup of the iPad by right-clicking the iPad 'Device' on the left-hand side of iTunes and selecting 'Backup'.
Then start the update by selecting the iPad on the left-hand side of iTunes, and on the Summary tab on the right-hand side clicking the Check For Updates button

An iPad 1 will update to iOS 5.1.1, and an iPad 2 and 3 to iOS 6.0.1 (the first gen iPad doesn't support iOS 6). If it is an iPad 2 or 3 then iOS 6 will remove the built-in YouTube app and the Maps app will change - though google have app versions in the store.

you have to maintain the chapter ID for the material. Then only it will come in MICO screen. maintain tax code in logistics general- tax on goods movement.

Unistalling and reinstalling your iTunes should not cause you to lose your songs. The songs stored in the iTunes music folder remain unaffected.
However, if it makes you nervous to do this, see this.

Actual Activities not appearing after Confirmation

Hi,
I got a situation where in we are using CO11 for confirmation.
We have 3 Activities in the Std Values viz, Machine, Labour and Actual Weight
After entering the Yield Qty and pressing Actual Data, Machine and Labour are appearing, but Actual Weight is not Appearing.
Necessary settings in OPK4 and OPK0 are already in place.
Please guide.

Thanks for the prompt response.
- System is calculating the Activities as required in the Production Order which i can see in the details information of the Operation.
- They are using CO11 for the confirmation.
- There is no Manual entry at the time of Confirmation.
- In OPK0 Default Confirmation Profile SAP001 is being ticked marked.
- Default Values , Qty and Service in OPK0
Procedural Steps for CO11:
- I run CO11
- Enter Production Order No. and give enter
- Here it shows the Yield Qty
- Then i press ACTUAL DATA icon and i get only the Machine and Labour Activity, but not the ACTUAL WEIGHT.
Procedural Steps for CO11N:
- i also tried running it in CO11n
- Here i enter the production order no. on the time ticket screen and give enter
- Here too only Machine and Labour is seen, Actual Weight is still missing.
- Then i once again hit ENTER and i am getting the Actual Weight Now.
- But as soon as i press Actual Data button, the Actual Weight disappears and the field appears Blank.
It is very strange, but this is the problem.

ICloud icon not appearing!

My iPhone was stolen, which has iCloud set up on it. I have blocked that phone, but my friend has sold me her iPhone 3GS, which I had to restore.
I now want to set up iCloud on this phone, so I have completed all the updates and it has the latest version of IOS, but the iCloud icon is still not appearing in the Settings menu, and all the support I can find on this assumes that it will be there.
Any ideas?

If the icloud icon does not appear, that is because you don't have iOS verision 5 installed. To be absolutely sure about this, go to: Settings>General>About. Look down the list for "Version". If not 5.x.x, then you don't have the iOS version needed for iCloud. BTW, are you sure it's an iPhone 3GS and not 3G? If 3G, then you can't update to iOS 5 on that model.

The apps store and i cloud icons do not appear

I have a two-day old iPhone 4s. The apps store icon does not appear. Under Settings, the iCloud, mail accounts, and twitter are in "inactive" status and cannot be accessed. Thank you.

Are these disabled under Settings > General > Restrictions? If not, try resetting the home screen layout by going to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Home Screen Layout.
Still doesn't work? Try a reset.
Doing a Reset:
Hold the home and power buttons at the same time until the Apple boot logo appears. No data will be lost.

HT5824 photos taken on my Iphone are not appearing in ICloud/IPhoto. ( to my knowledge, the settings are set for "share/upload"

Photos taken on my Iphone do not appear in ICloud. I've checked the settings but am unable to determine
what, if anything, I need to do inorder to syn the photos.
Technically, I need to review the settings on my Iphone and ICloud that will enable a seamless transfer of photos.
Additionally, I need to review the computer (microsoft)setting that enable a sync of photos with ICloud.

Everything is fine, because there is no web application for photos at the moment. These are the options to view your Photo Stream:
-On your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, your photos will appear in the Photos app in the Photo Stream album.
-On your Mac, they appear in the Photo Stream view in iPhoto or Aperture.
-On a PC, your photos download to the Photo Stream download folder. By default, this folder is located at C:\Users\Apple\Pictures\Photo Stream\My Photo Stream. You can change this location by visiting Photo Stream Options in the iCloud Control Panel for Windows.
-On Apple TV, your photos will appear in the Photo Stream view under Internet in the main Apple TV menu after you sign in with your iCloud account.

Settings iCloud Photos does not appear on my iPhone with iOS8

I have created some shared iCloud photo streams using iPhoto. I used to be able to access the stream and update it using my iPhone 4S on iOS 7. Since upgrading to iOS 8, the streams no longer appear.
When I go to Settings > iCloud (as instructed by Apple's trouble shooting guide), the Photos option does not appear as it used to in iOS 7.
I've tried to logout of iCloud and re-login and this has not resolved the issue. Any help would be appreciated!

It is likely on another page, in a folder, or you have restrictions set. Check all of these.
If you do not find it, then reset the homescreen layout ( covered in the manual).

I have one photo caption which will not appear when I preview my photobook

Does anyone know how to fix this problem?
I have just assembled a photobook with captions for most of the pictures. One of the captions will not appear when i preview the photobook although it does appear in the assembled book.

Delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your Home/Library/Preferences folder, launch iPhoto and try again.
NOTE: If you're moved your library from its default location in your Home/Pictures folder you will have to point iPhoto to its new location when you next open iPhoto by holding the the Option key. You'll also have to reset the iPhoto's various preferences.

Photo taken do not appear in Photos on iPhone anymore !

Interesting: this morning I updated to the latest version of iTunes and sync OK.
Right after that, pictures I take, or screenshot, do not appear anymore when i go into the Photos App and check CAMERAL ROLL.
There is a PREVIEW of the last photo and the COUNT of photos is correct, but nothing inside.
Photos DO download OK in iPhoto.
Restart/shutdown iphone no difference. Wont do a full restore since it may be iTunes related, somehow?
Coincidence? Anybody got that problem?
I have iPhone 3G with OS 3.0 on Singtel (Singapore).
Annoying but not life threatening (yet)

Well appears it had nothing to do with iTunes indeed.
Read quite a few threads of disappearing photos issues and was really not thrilled at the prospect of restoring and going through the process of reinstalling apps, settings etc... Cannot stand going through command lines either!
Instead I tried the http://www.ecamm.com/mac/phoneview/ application and deleted as instructed the .MISC folder inside the /DISC/DCIM folder.
Worked!!!
Interesting thing: right after that my pictures counter started at IMG_00001 etc... which could suggest indeed a 'bug' with the photo counter that reaches a limit and must be manually reset to 00000
Note: demo version of the app has a 7 day limit
