Photos event dates are changed to three digits, followed by "IMPRT"

In the Photos section, when I click on "Events" the pictures used to be arranged by date. Then they became arranged by three digits followed by the letters "IMPRT". For a time the top thumbnail didn't correspond with the photos in the stack, but that appears to have corrected itself.
This occurred before updating to OS 4.3.5 but still continues. I have tried clearing and restoring the iPad to no avail.

Were you ever able to fix this problem?? It seems to be gettng worse for me. Pockets of IMPRT here and there between ones with real dates. I also found a group of pictures that did not sink automatically to my MAC from my ipad.
I like to choose and delete on my Ipad, and let it sink to the Mac.

The problem is that the Add-ons Manager tab when opened the first time, is on "Get Add-ons" section and that must be downloaded from the Add-ons server which might be overburdened.

Event dates are not bolded by Date Navigator in Outlook 2010

Event dates are not bolded by Date Navigator in Outlook 2010 on my own calendar. Events are set to busy but it is not working. View Settings > Other Settings > "Bolded dates in Date Navigator represent days containing items" is
checked. This previously worked for 2+ years but recently stopped working. All plugins were disabled, Outlook 2010 was uninstalled and then re-installed. OST file was deleted and re-synchronized with Exchange 2007. While the OST was re-synchronizing the
bolding worked properly but upon next restart of Outlook it went away. Another symptom is that my Scheduling Assistant does not show my free/busy times correctly in my local view. If I look at my own schedule via the Scheduling Assistant of another user, the
free/busy times show up correctly. My webmail account also correctly shows bolded dates and free/busy suggesting that this is a local problem. Some screen shots below. Anyone have any ideas as to what I need to tweak? Using Oulook 2010 v.14.7116.500 (32-bit).

IPhoto 11 events' dates are all messed up

Hi, my iPhoto 11 events' dates are all messed up.
I tried a solution that I found in the forum in which one should delete file com.apple.iPhoto but I don't have the said file.
Any ideas?

Yes you do. In Lion and Mountain Lion the Library folder is now invisible. To make it permanently visible enter the following in the Terminal application window: chflags nohidden ~/Library and hit the Enter button - 10.7: Un-hide the User Library folder.
You can then find and delete the necessary preference file.

How the prodution order start and finis dates are changeing...?

Dear friends,
It was observed that one of my client's production order start and finish dates are changing frequently.
No user is claiming the responsibility, I feel very dificult to to find out who did the changes.
When I observed, it is happening for orders if we Revert the Teco, and that to for those orders which doesn't have the sale order assignment.
and some times it is not happenign for even for the orders which does not have the sale order assignment also.
Here it is having Forward type Sheduling.
Please help me how and when , the prodcuction orders start and finish dates will get changed.

I had this same problem when I first got my iPod touch. The solution is simple. When you use iTunes and don't close it when your computer sleeps/hibernates, the time on iTunes stays the same as when you put your computer on sleep.
Try to open up iTunes, and close it when your computers sleeps, and then open up iTunes again and sync your iPod touch. Don't forget to close up iTunes when you put your computer on sleep.

Manipulating imports or photos events dates and times

It's a simple question and obviously related to the subject, but I'm trying to find out if it is possible to manipulate imports of images from an I device, we have an Apple Mac that has images on spreading over 3years, obviously with the event dates and times logged, but between each of the photos there are thousands of other images, therefore I would like to know if it is possible to slip images into iPhoto between these thousands of images and alter the date and time of the import or image
plus is there any way I can bring import logs up within iPhoto?

iPhoto has two ways to change the date of photos.
From the Photos menu select "Adjust Date and time". That will let you shift the dates of all selected photos by a fixed amount.
Or use "Photos > Batch Change". This way you can set the date of photos to a fixed date and time, with a optional increment between the photos. This is very useful for scans, where no capture date has been recorded.
To change the dates of events, change the date of the photos inside, or split the events, if you want to insert a different event in between. You can split an event by sorting the photos according to date and selecting a photo in the event. Then use the command "Events > Split event".

Photo event dates deleted

Since installing iOS4.2 some of my photo folders have lost their dates and been replaced with "100IMPRT, 101IMPRT" etc. This problem like others I have is frustrating because I feel as if I have no control over what is happening and things happen inconsistently.

I just upgraded my iPad to iOS 4.2 and all my dates on photo events were also deleted. Can I recover these dates?

Dates are changed to 2012 when short format is used

In a couple of non-Apple applications that have a database of dated records, the dates are all showing up as in 2012 even though many of the records are from years ago.
In Numbers, if I click on a cell and type in "1/23/o4" (no quotes), it displays "Jan 23, 2004" in the cell. If I then go to the Inspector and change the format to 1/09/12 (note even the format sample showed 2012) the cell shows 1/23/12. If I change the format back to a long form it sometimes goes back to the original year and sometimes doesn't.
Needless to say, this is a new phenomenon and I don't think I made any radical changes in the last few days when this must have started happening.

How can the Event dates be changed in FCPX?

I'm in need of changing the EVENT dates in the Event Library of the files imported into FCPX. The video camera I imported video from had the internal clock set incorrectly. The owner changed the camera's memory battery ad the camera reset to the reset date. I wasn't aware of this until I started to import files from the cam. It imported as files created in 2002! It's 2011! Is there a way I can change the EVENT date in the Event Library in FCPX?

it is not possible to change the date. In standard Sap u can only open one months posting period. so it is impossible & once again to open the posting period only few people have authorization.

PSE9 & 10 photos dates are changing

Having problem in PSE9 & 10. When importing the batch of images and organizer, it changes the dates of the images automatically, some images are showing in correct date sequence and some photos timings are getting change and taking the current time and date. How to resolve this problem so all the images should show in the correct date taken sequence.

If your problem is that raw files & jpegs taken at the same time come in with different times taken, the only way I found to fix them is to select the files with the incorrect time (in my case they were .nef files and the time shot was 5 hours off) and use the adjust time & date function and shift the number of hours by the correct amount (time zone correction). A pain in the rearend but it works. Doesn't seem to happen with version 11. Hope this helps

When I export photos, the dates are sometimes changed

When I export photos from iPhoto, the date information seems to get lost for some of my photos. For example, I have an event with four photos taken on January 30, 2006. In iPhoto they show up with that date. When I export the original photos from the event, I get jpeg image files with a creation date of January 1, 2000, and with no date information in the EXIF data.
I understand that the creation date of the file may not be date/time that the photo was taken, but in that case the info should be in the EXIF data, shouldn't it? iPhoto has that data somewhere. How do I get it to export it?
This only happens with some of my photos, btw.
I'm using iPhoto '11, version 9.4.3.

If you changed the dates in iPhoto then when you did it you had the option to write to the Original. You could try that again, say, adding an hour to the time or somesuch, and this time check the box to 'Modify Original Files'.
Otherwise, exporting the originals will export precisely that... Tha files as imported.
Current has poor support for metadata. That's what you get from a media browser - so it's designed for dragging images into word processing documents or a casual email to grandma - in other words times when the exif doesn't matter.
If you export as Jpeg (or tiff) you should get the dates.

Event dates are 1903!

I had to do a reinstall and when all my movie clips were imported the date shows up as Dec. 31, 1903! How can I change this? Is this a bug in iMovie '08?

This is annoying... It just happened to me. What triggered it was:
1) I moved all my events to a smb drive
2) I opened iMovie with out connecting the drive prior - all events did not apper, and the movie had the exclamation icons
3) I connected to the drive, and voala... All my events were there, but all dates changed to 31-Dec-03
I rebooted thinking that it had to do with it, but no... and I can't fix it now.

Are changes previously done in PS4 ACR displayed in LR4 ?

I haven't yet upgraded from Photoshop CS4 to Photoshop CS6. I love CS4 ACR for editing but absolutely not for picking favorates/culls compared to say Photo Mechanic. ACR has distracting stars to click on, Photo Mechanic I hit a numeric value to color tag my choices, and drag tons of those instantly recognizable choices to appropriate folders.
Recently I edited several hundred dance stage images into CS4 ACR. After many corrective adjustments everything looks fine enough to start choosing my favs. Oops. They don't show in Photo Mechanic.
Are changes previously done in PS4 ACR displayed in LR4 ?
