Photos from desktop not accepted

Howdy
I have a few photos in iPhoto that I would like to add to my iPhone (3G). I copied them to a folder on the desktop, then went to iTunes to add them to the phone. I get an error message which states-"iPhone is synced with another photo library or folder. Do you want to sync with your photo library and replace all existing photos on this iPhone with those from your photo library?"
I recently moved all of my photos from the old iMac to a new one. Is that part of the problem? Also, I successfully authorized my new computer with the iTunes site.
Any help will be appreciated.

iTunes has a default folder setup for syncing photo's if you want to use the new folder exclusively then just choose to use that folder otherwise move the photo's you want to sync to whatever is the current default directory.

There are two types of photos on your iPad 2 which are stored and handled completely separate.
Photos captured by your iPad, photos saved from a received email or from a website, and photos imported from a digital camera or from a digital camera's SD card using the iPad Camera Connection Kit are stored completely separate from photos transferred from your computer to your iPad, which is selected under the Photos tab for your iPad sync preferences with iTunes.

My desktop not accepting the HP-Display - Compaq WF1907 Wide LCD Monitor update. I've tried many times since 1/10/2008. Its really just annoying more than anything else. Anyone know why I can't get this update into my computer. I've never had any other problem with my Compaq-Presario GG060AA-ABA SR5127CL. Maybe I should just count my blessings and overlook this anomaly. Thanks.
P.S. I just noticed that I put this message under the Notebook category. Oh well, maybe someone can answer my question anyway.

Iphoto remove photos from iphone not working

For the past couple months iphoto will not delete the photos from my iphone. It successfully imports them, prompts to delete, appears to delete but doesn't actually remove them. They are still on my iphone. iphoto recognizes that they have already been imported and asks to delete them again the next time I plug in my phone, I accept, looks like something is happening but they are still there. I've tried image capture as well and there is no way to delete off the phone in image capture. Help!?

Can it be, that you have enabled iCloud Photo Library (Beta) on your iPhone with iOS 8.1.3? Then you can import photos from the phone, but deleting from Image Capture or iPhoto will not work, if the photos are in iCloud Photo Library.

Just what i've suspected. This means that you have installed the 4.1.4e version which does not include the media conduit. Here's what you'll need to do:
Uninstall the Palm Desktop.
Download and install Palm Desktop 4.2. Note that this is a Verizon-branded installer but should work just find with your device.
In theory, this should resolve your issue.

Delete photo from iPhone, NOT from Mac/iCloud

Hello,
I scanned a bunch of images recently, and I noticed they were all automatically going to the photo stream when I imported them. I believe I turned that off in preferences, but the ones I've already scanned that way are taking up space on my photo stream. I went to delete those same images from my phone, but it says that will delete them from all devices.
How can I delete the photos in the photo stream on my iPhone while keeping them on my Macbook air's Photos?

Icloud Photo Library is not an archive. If you wish to archive all photos before deleting some try another service like Dropbox. This also gives you another, independent, backup which is always a good idea when using a product labelled, "Beta".

I can't cut and paste photos from the desktop to gmail (compose) to send them to my family ... Nor can I drag and drop photos or anything else from the desktop to gmail (compose). Hi, I try to load a photo from desktop and Elements 12 opens up but the photo doesn't appear in the screen. I used to get it but lately they don't appear.

How are you trying to open the photos?
- from windows explorer? - double licking or right clicking and selecting Open with?
- by loading the editor and go to File -> Open?
Looking back at your other threads you seem to have had this problem before - what keeps changing?

Photos from Aperture not syncing via iTunes?

Hi:
I use Aperture to catalog and edit all my photos, and I post some stuff to Flickr. I decided I wanted all my Flickr content on my iPad and iPhone, so I went to the Flickr project in my library, selected all the photos in a given set, and created an Aperture album from them. Quick side note which may or may not make a difference - not all my photos in Flickr were posted through Aperture (some came from other sources, etc.). When I open these albums in Aperture, I see jpegs of all the photos I snagged from Flickr - so far, so good.
Now - I fire up iTunes and tell it I want to sync selected albums. I pick all the albums of photos from Flickr. I sync - and for a couple of the albums I get a few shots (3 from one album, 2 from another, etc.) - but I can NEVER get all the photos synced to my devices.
I've tried regenerating all the previews in Aperture, and I've also tried deleting the iPod Photo Cache file in the Aperture applib package. No joy.
Curiously, I have absolutely no problems syncing with some old photos I have left in iPhoto. I'm half tempted to export my Aperture albums to iPhoto then sync with that - but that's too much of a manual workaround, and this should just work from Aperture --> iTunes.
This is driving me nuts - any help/advice would be appreciated!

Told me to try unchecking the box to sync Photos.
Do a sync.
Then check the box.
And sync again.
