Photos from Mac to iPhone?

I have several photos on my Mac that I would like on my iPhone.  I added the photos to the iCloud>Images folder in Finder but they are not syncing to my iPhone.  Both devices are set to share.

If you use iPhoto on your Mac for importing photos from a digital camera including from your iPhone's Camera Roll and for photo storage and management on your Mac, under the Photos tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes select sync with iPhoto and your iPhoto albums and events will be available below to select to be transferred to your iPhone followed by a sync.

Make sure Settings > iCloud > Photos > iCloud Photo Library (Beta) = "Off"
Then sync your iPhone using iTunes and make sure your sync settings for photos are set correctly in iTunes.

  • I cannot sync all my photos from mac ti iPhone. The sync finishes before all photos arte copied to The iPhone so in my iPhone I have albums with less photos than Mac!

I cannot sync all my photos from mac to iPhone. The sync finishes before all photos are copied to The iPhone so in my iPhone I have albums with less photos than Mac! I select The album that I want to sync on The iPhone on iTunes but the syncronization finishes before all the photos of the selected albums are copied on The phone.

You should erase all contents and setting before giving your iphone away.

  • How to copy photos from mac to iphone

Is there a way I can copy photos from my mac to my iphone

"Yeah but I cannot fleet them directly form my iphone"
That is correct.  Photos synced from the computer to iphone are deleted the same way - the sync process.
" I want the pictures in my camera roll is there any third party app that could do that"
You can do this from the iphone itself or you can do it when you import them to your computer,  There is no need for an app.

I take a lot of pictures on a camera and need them streamed to my iPhone from my mac. Is there any way to fix this?? Is it because I updated my phone? My Macbook is from 2012, and i have an iPhone 5 if that matters

  • Cannot get photos from Mac to iPhone

Transfer in iPhoto only works iPhone to Mac (iPhoto).
Sync in iTunes is set to sync with a specific album in iPhoto (I have too many photos to sync library). However, after lots of sync action, nothings gets moved to iPhone.
    Ideas?

You delete them the same way you put them there.  the sync process.
Open itunes, connect iphone, select what you want to be on the iphone, sync.

  • What is the direct connect method for transfering photos from my macbook pro to my iphone without using iTunes syncronization? (iow: a simple photo copy from mac to iphone?)

I feel like I should know the answer to this. I can't believe it is a hard question.
What is the direct connect method for transfering photos from my macbook pro to my iphone without using iTunes syncronization? (iow: a simple photo copy from mac to iphone?)
    Easy? Right?
Just plug my iphone in to a mac and copy a photo from the mac to my iphone.
I don't have internet access - I can't email it, or mobileme it, or dropbox it.

iTunes. Other than that there is no direct method. However, do try the iPhone forums.

  • I'm getting a message that my iCloud storage is almost full (5.0 GB, 186 mb remaining).  I have transferred all photos from iPad and iPhone to Mac.  I've deleted all but 200 photos on each of these devices.  Data storage is still same.

I have transferred all photos from iPad and iPhone to Mac.  I have deleted almost all photos from both (about 200 remaining on each).  I do not store tunes or videos.  After making these changes, I still have the same message in iCloud.

Go to Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup > Manage Storage > Select your device (listed as 'This iPhone' or 'This iPad') then look at the next backup size.  Compare the 'Next Backup Size' to the 'Backup Size' on taht same screen.  If the next backup size is smaller, then you have successfully removed some content from your device.
Now the question still lingers as to why your iCloud is still showing so full right?  Well, iCloud keeps the last 3 backups from each device.  It doesn't duplicate them, but it uses an incremental backup system.  So basically your device's backup will take up as much space on iCloud as the largest backup of the last 3 backups.  With that being said, your iPhone and ipad will eventually shrink the size of your backup (if that next backup size is smaller) in about 3 days (3 backups assuming your iOS devices backup once as day when you are sleeping).
Can I expedite this?  Well of course you can.  If you want, you can Delete the backup from both of the devices via that same screen then go back to Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup, turn iCloud Backups back on, then backup now.  Keep in mind that if you do this, it will clear out your last 3 backups (and cannot be undone), but it may also take a long while for your iPhone and iPad to complete that inital backup after deleting the old backups.
I hope this helps. (My Recommendation: Basically check what's in paragraph one, then it will works itself out in a few days.)

  • How to delete photos transferred from mac to iphone ?

I have searched on Google "how to delete photos transferred from mac to iPhone"
It returned the following result :
    To do so just:
In iTunes select the device icon in the Devices List on the left. ...
Choose Sync photos from, being iPhoto or Aperture on a Mac and Photoshop Album or Photoshop Elements on a Windows PC.
Choose Select Albums and deselect the albums or collections you want to delete.
    Click Apply.
But the problem here is that I have deleted the album which I synced via iTunes on Mac.
Now how can deleted those synced photos from my iPhone ?

No. Hook it up to any computer running iTunes. Make sure that you do not have any of the other tabs set up to sync, so that you do not overlay the info you have on your device for Music, Movies, etc., then go the the Music tab and un-check Sync Music. This should remove all sync'd music from your device. (this is presuming that the Mac you sync with does not have any photos you do want to sync with your device. If it does have any photos you want to sync, then instead of turning off the Music syncing altogether, you can just select what you do want to sync, and the sync will remove all other sync'd albums).
    Cheers,

  • How do I transfer photos from computer to IPhone?

I have downloaded photos from my old IPhone 4 to my Mac desk computer and I want to transfer these photos to my new IPhone 5 - how do I do that. I have connected the IPhone 5 to IPhoto on the desktop but it doesn't give me a choice to do that.

Start iTunes 11.1 or later on your computer and connect your phone. Select your phone in iTunes and select Photos in the row of tabs presented. Select the option to sync photos from your iPhoto library. You will then have the option to select sync all photos or select the photo albums you want to sync. Once you have made the selections click on Apply or Sync at the bottom of the window.

  • How to import photo from laptop to iphone? is it possible?

how to import photo from laptop to iphone? is it possible to do so?

    You're welcome.
The photos are imported from the Camera Roll, not synced.
    Mac or Windoze PC?
Which application on your computer are you using for the import?
With a Mac, both iPhoto and the Image Capture application include an option and a prompt to delete the photos from the Camera Roll are the import process is complete - as when importing photos from any other digital camera.
The Windoze Scanner and Camera Wizard includes the same.

How to import photo from album in Iphone into computer?

You can't. You can import from the Camera Roll only.
Photos transferred from your computer to your iPhone via the iTunes sync/transfer process should remain on your computer. Photos transferred from your computer are optimized for viewing on your iPhone via the iTunes sync/transfer process - the original resolution of these photos is reduced, which is why transferring these photos in the opposite direction is not supported. These photos should remain on your computer and be included with your computer's backup.
There are some 3rd party paid utilities that provide for transferring these photos in the opposite direction but such utilities are not supported by Apple and the original resolution of these photos will be lost.
    Here is one such utility.

  • I cannot download photos from my apple iphone 4

I cannot download photos from my apple iphone 4. I rang apple who took me through some instructions and talked me through to what to do. We tried both a laptop pc (windows 7) and an apple macbook pro and tried two different cables.
Cannot seem to download any photos at all, both laptop do not seem to recognise the device.
Apple told me to email the photos, this is impracticle as there is such a large quantity.
My issue is still not resolved.
    Can you help??

    1. You did not get an error message telling you that your iPhoto library was getting full. You got a message telling you that your HD was getting full, right?
OS X needs about 10 gigs of hard drive space for normal OS operations - things like virtual memory, temporary files and so on.
Without this space your Mac will slow down as the OS hunts for space on the disk, files will be fragmented, also slowing things down, apps will crash and the risk of data corruption - that is damage to your files, photos, music - increases exponentially.
Your first priority is to make more space on that HD. Nothing else can be done until you do.
Purchase an external HD and move your Photos and Music to it. Both iPhoto and iTunes can run perfectly well with the Library on an external disk.
Your Library has been damaged from being run on an overfull disk.
How much free space on it now?
