My ipod shuffle (4th generation) and my ipod nano (2013) are not recognized in itunes 12. I have windows vista and have tried all of the troubleshooting suggestions to no success. How can i fix this?

Have you tried deleting the photo cache from your computer and then re-trying the photo sync and see if they all then copy over (you need to select and sync all the photos that you want on the iPad together in one go, as only the most recent photo sync remains on the iPad) ? Don't know about the Facebook photo emailing, but there are a number of apps that allow to upload photos to their site (e.g. the 'official' Facebook app).
(For future info, typing all in capitals is considered SHOUTING - you are more likely to get help/responses if you don't.)

Why iPhone 4s and iPad 2 mini are not recognized by iTune.

I have and iPhone 4s and a iPad 2 mini who have been upgraded to iOS 7.1.1 both and now that i want to sync them to my computer who is running windows 7 premium family edition, they are not recognized. I get this when i plug in my phone or pad ( this iPhone cannot be used because the required software is not installed. Run the iTunes installer to remove iTunes, then install the 64-bit version of iTunes). I have done that twice and nothing is happening getting frustrated please help....

Some photos from iPhoto are not appearing in iMovie

I have successfully imported over 2,000 pictures from iPhoto into iMovie. However, my latest attempt did not work- these photos were from a CD scanned by somebody else. The photos are in iPhoto, but when I pull up the folder in iMovie, it is blank.
Any idea why??? Thanks.

You should be able to tell in iPhoto. If not, right click on the photo in iPhoto and select "Reveal in Finder". You should see the file. Right click on it and select "Get Info"

Nikon D90 RAW (NEF) files imported via iPhoto are not recognized

Would appreciate your help. Just got an iMac. OS X 10.6.7. Installed Aperture 3.1.2. I shoot RAW+JPEGs. Imported both files fine to iPhoto '11 from my old PC. When Aperture then imported an Event from iPhoto, I still see two versions of each shot, but Aperture calls them both JPEG. On one version the metadata is complete, on the second some is missing (e.g., Exposure Mode, Lens). Both are shown as 12.2 MP, no matter what. Can't do any editing this way! I just pickup a D300 and unfortunately Aperture nor iPhoto will not import the picture in the RAW format. Do you know if the RAW format will be updated in the new OS release that is to be announced?
I also contacted Nikon about the Capture NX program that came with the camera and Nikon told me that they are working with Apple to resolve the issues with there program as well.
It would be nice if the Camera venders would work with Apple before introduction to make sure the software is available to support the hardware they introduce..

Photos in iPhoto are not mine??????

I've been using iPhoto for a couple of months and am familiar with it's workings.
I have only loaded photos from a Spain trip my wife recently took. That's it. Nothing else.
Imagine my surprise then, when I started iPhoto today and found an album named "Eccentrik's Photos" with 12 sub albums containing 1200++ photos of people I've never seen in my life.
I haven't downloaded anything to iPhoto, and as stated previously, have only loaded my wife's Spain photos into iPhoto.
The only downloading I did recently was (during this same computer session, and previous to starting iPhoto), Firefox needed to do an automatic update/installation. That's it.
Lastly, I'm the only one who uses my computer and it is password protected, so nobody could've gotten on my computer or logged in remotely to put the pictures in my iPhoto.
Any suggestions as to what is going on, how this happened, how to prevent it from happening again and how to contact "Eccentrik" to get him (presumably) his photos back as these may be the only copies he has (or might think he has only to find HIS iPhoto empty next time he opens it)?
Please let me know as I'm a little confused and very displeased with the fact that this sort of thing can happen.

Let me guess: you're on an unsecured wireless network, your iPhoto is set up to 'Look For Shared Libraries' You have a neighbour who is sharing his library, and guess what? You looked and found it.
Solution: password protect your network and / or disable 'Look For Shared Libraries'.

Not recognized by iTunes or Windows with 3 Orange blinks

I got the iPod shuffle(2nd generation) in Feb. It had been working fine - I've updated and used it several times. Then one day while I was listening to it, it stopped working. I went home a put it on the dock and my windows or iTunes didn't recognize it. I also am getting three continuous orange blinks. I've tried a few things, but I don't know how to get it to work if my computer isn't even recognizing it? PLEASE HELP!

If that does not restore the iPod and it's less than one year old, you can get it replaced under warranty.

My outlook 2010 Contact Groups are not visible in iTunes; only syncs main Outlook Contact Folder, others not synching

I have an iPhone (running the latest device software) and have Outlook 2010 for PC on my desktop. I have several Outlook 2010 Contact Folders/Groups but when I try to sync with my iPhone I only have the option to sync all of my contacts.
When I sync this -- the only Outlook folder/group that is synced is my main 'Contacts' folder/group. All the rest of my folders/groups are not being transferred to my iPhone. I've had this issue for a few months now -- and though I like the iPhone, my old Blackberry nev er presented this problem when it came to the simple base function of syncing. Appreciate your help -- as I am out of answers. Thanks.

Just received by I Pad and it will not connect to ITunes or sync with my computer and it wasn't recognized by my MAc.

I just received my IPad and it will not sync with ITunes and my Mac doesn't recognize it any form. The screen is black with the exception of the annoying ITunes/USB cable graphic on the screen which appears momentarily and then disappears. Any ideas?

Things you can try first off,
is make sure you plug in your USB at the back of the mac, rather than for example keyboard.
Check out another usb cable.
Hold down sleep/wake and home button at the same time to reset iPad.
Make sure you have the latest iTunes installed or you may have to reinstall iTunes.
None of these work then I suggest you to take it to an Apple retail store for the genius guy to check it out.

Photos in iPhoto Library not seen by iTunes

Formerly when I sync'd my iPhone, the iTunes listed all of my photos. I could move any subset to my iPhone. But now iTunes only sees a limited number of my photos. iPhoto has 15 photos in the album I successfully sync'd before, now iTunes says there are only 3 photos in this album. How do I get iTunes to see all the photos it used to see?

With this issue try resetting the sync history on your computer.
1. Open Applications
2. Open iSync
3. Click on iSync next to Blue Apple (Top Left hand Corner of the screen)
4. Click on Preferences
5. Reset Sync History
See if that might help.

Sorry to jump the gun, but did you connect the iPod via USB Hub on the MB Air?
If plug it into the wrong USB port, which is shared like using a USB Hub, I would suggest connecting the iPod directly to the MB Air and not via USB Hub.
But if you connect directly, have the iPod ever connect to iTunes, without problems, on this MB Air?
You got an old 4G iPod photo, based on iPod Software version 1.2.1
I mean downgrade to the iTunes version, that was working, with your iPod, but try the right USB port first before downgrading iTunes, with earlier version download here.
