Photos in PC are not synced properly - not downloaded from icloud

i have been having problems with icloud to desktop pc photos. it doesn't seem to download from icloud anymore. this happens when i take a photo using iphone and the photo gets replicated on all devices but NOT to my desktop. i have no idea what happened. it looks like apple change3d the folder to icloud photos.
recently i bought an ipad air and for whatever reasons, i don't have all the photos in my iphones "my photo stream" in my ipad. how can i sync this on my ipad?
so now the question is how can i simply copy these photos on iphone5 to my desktop and ipad? in the directory "my photo stream"

Check your purchase history by going to the iTunes Store and then click on purchases. From there you can see all your purchase history and download what you are missing.

My pictures are not downloading from the cloud

I was doing a restore from the cloud on my new iPhone 5 every thing whent good. My pictures are still downloading (going on 20hr) what do i do?

Apps not downloading from Icloud backup to my iphone 4s

I had to get a replcement Iphone 4s and the apps will not copy from Icloud or from Itunes they are stuck on "waiting" I can not seem to get them to start loading again.

It only installs 1 at a time. They all will say waiting except for 1, that should say loading. You don't see that?

I purchased the Lord of the Rings bundle extended version with iTunes extras (3 movies). I had to delete the movies and the extras from my computer temporarily. When I reinstalled them from the Cloud, the movies downloaded fine. But, the iTunes extras that came with the movies did not download again at all. What do I do? I paid for all of it.

Happily I did not have to clear any caches or anything like that. I did do a tethered sync of my photos on the phone before it got working, then ended up with dups when they finally came down from iCloud. I think it was finally getting it all uploaded from the Mac to iCloud that fixed it, but the tethered sync may have shaken it loose too. Either way, its nice that its all syncing properly. I think I'm finally making full use of iCloud.

New iPad air. books not downloading from iCloud

I had quite a few books on Ipad 2. Just bought ipad air and after clicking backup from icloud only a few of my books are readable. When I click on them it says formatted incorrectly or is not a format that ibooks can open. Any ideas anyone?

Reset your WiFi router and/or cable modem. Unplug it/them from power for about 30 seconds and then plug them in again. The I would restart the iPad and try again.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.

New photo app not downloading from iCloud

For some reason mid way through the month my photos in my photo stream stopped syncing to my Mac Book Pro since i installed the new photo app. Anyone else have this problem? Thanks!

Lots of issues about this one! I have uploaded 227 a whole week. Partly due to local broadband speeds and I suspect pressure on servers in USA. It sees the whole world is uploading at once - perhaps because Apple launched photos!
The advice I got from Apple was just to wait a couple of weeks for things to settle down.
Keep turning off the upload each day if it affects broadband speeds.
To address your specific question I thought mine had also stuck as nothing appeared to happen for days - then a few were uploaded.

I don't find an app called "Fiction". I see apps with fiction in the name so exactly what is the name of the app?
Typically you cannot download any content onto the iPad other than through the App store, iTunes or iBooks - although in the case of downloading ebooks, that would be handled in a web browser and you would need an account in order to download that content within that app. For instance if you use the Kindle App, the content is managed via your amazon.com account.

Pictures not downloading from iCloud restore shows downloading but no pics

Need help I just upgraded fron iPhone 4 to 5s updated from cloud everything worked great but it's been 24 hrs and it still says downloading pics any help would be great

iPods (except for iPod touch) cannot access iCloud directly, even if you subscribe to iTunes Match. The song files needs to be in the local library of the computer the iPod syncs to. Are you saying that once you subscribed to iTunes Match, and matched or uploaded your iTunes music library songs into "the cloud," you deleted your local copies of ALL of your song files?
If you are going to re-sync the iPod from empty, you may want to do a Restore on it, in case there is existing data corruption on the iPod's storage. This will erase the iPod and re-install its software, giving it a fresh start.

Old imessages not downloading from iCloud

I've just upgraded my iphone from an 4s to 5s.
I backed up everything to iCloud as I've done many times before.
However, this time my old SMS messages or imessages haven't downloaded from iCloud.
Everything else is as I'd expect.
I haven't done anything different than in the past.
What's gone wrong?.

Hello. Yeahi restored from icloud.
Ive done many iphone restores.. Having had 4 iphones
This time i backed up to icloud the day before i exchanged my iphone, making sure to back everythng up like i always do.
When starting my new iphone 5s for the first time i restored from that same icloud back up the previous day. Everything appeared as expected. Other than my sms/imessages.
I also tried from the other backups that were availble during the restore process.
Id be greatfrul for any help as i have some very personal messages stored from a relative that recently passed away.
Please help, thanks.
