Photos into albums

I have a broplem with aphoto when i take aphoto or download when i need see it i found the coulors not normal but became dark coulor

Hi Mahmoudraouf, welcome to the community!
When you are taking the photos, are you using Superior auto mode or Manual mode? Please clarify which mode you are using.
That is strange that downloaded photo's become darker, check your settings under Display just to see what level the brightness is set to and whether you have Adaptive brightness turned on. If you use Stamina mode or Low battery mode this can also dim the screen when your phone gets to a certain percent of power (you can change this under Settings > Power management).
Also try clearing the data for Camera under Settings > Apps > All > Camera > tap Clear data > report back.

  • Can I organise photos into albums within iCloud Photo Library?

i Understand that edits / deletes etc in iCloud Photo Libary will be reflected on all my iOS devices but can I organise my photos into albums using iCloud photo library?
basically I want to take photos on my iPhone, review them on my iPad, delete the ones I don't want and keep the good ones in a relevant album (e.g. "Summer holiday 2014"). Then I want to be able to see identical albums on both my iPad and iPhone. From what I've seen so far, when I create an album and save a photo to it then that album is only local to that device?
    please help.

Are you saying it showed 800 photos before turning off iCloud photo library or that the 800 photos disappeared after you enabled iCloud photo library for the first time, the distinction is quite important.

  • Can't move photos into albums

    Hi there,
ever since I upgraded to iPhoto '09 I can't seem to move photos into albums that I am editing.
When viewing the photos in "normal" list mode there is no problem to move them into an album. I grab the photo, drag it onto the album and a green plus sign appears indicating that it is possible to add the photo. When I drop it and check, the photo is indeed inside the album as it should.
When I double click the photo to go into edit mode I see the enlarged photo and a strip of photos running along the upper edge. This is just like in iPhoto '08. It used to be that I could grab photos in that strip and drag them to an album. When I do this now the green plus sign does appear just as before, which makes me think that I can indeed add it to the album. However, when I check the album the photo is not there.
Is this a bug? Is it some preference that I can set?
Thanks in advance for any help you can offer!
    Marcus

I was organizing my photos into albums. then deleting them from my Camera roll. Then I went into MY Photo Stream and started deleting the pics I had moved to albums;Come to find out I deleted all pic from everywhere!!  Would the iCloud still have them saved

First of all, you should always save you photos on computer like any other digital camera.
Backup on iCloud or iTunes only backup your Camera Roll. The other photos should be already on the computer.
Note: Photos are not saved in iTunes, it's only a conduit between your iPhone and your photo managing software on computer.
    What computer do you have?

  • After sorting photos into albums, the albums disappeared on me. I dragged and dropped the photos and went back to check that they were in place before exiting the program. When I went back, the folder was there but no albums. Help!

Working on an IMac - with IPhoto v.9.6
This is my first experience with IPhoto... trying to move files from a PC over to a Mac.
I don't have a ton of photos but I created about 6 albums - standard albums - and dragged and dropped individual photos into each of the albums. I named each of the albums as well so I would know what was in each. After i was finished, I created a folder called 2014 and moved each of the albums into that folder. Before moving ANY of the albums, I opened each of them up to make sure that all the photos I wanted in each were indeed there - and since there were some errors on my part, I deleted any duplicates first. SO, I KNOW the photos were actually in each of the albums BEFORE i moved them into the 2014 folder.
My intention was to then delete the photo files in my document file but once I got there I thought I would go back and double check the IPhoto file just to make sure... and the pictures were NOT in the albums where I had placed them... is there a need to save this before you move on and if so, to where and how? I was under the impression that once files were moved to albums, they remain there.
The photos are still in the photo library but unsorted now again... I cannot even open the 2014 folder at this point.
    Thanks for any help!!

Was back on IPhoto this morning. The folder did not open at all so I deleted it. Beside Albums, nothing showed at all. It was like I had done no work at all except to import my photo folder. Nothing was in my trash bin either.
I started again and created one album at a time. I dragged and dropped photos into the album and exited out of IPhoto, opened up other programs and then returned to IPhoto to see if the album was still there and it was this time. I created a second album and did the same thing. This time, for some reason, the albums seem to be staying in place. I am not doing anything differently than last time. After creating three albums, I created a folder called 2014 and dragged and dropped the three albums into the folder and exited IPhoto. They were still there when I returned - YEAH! It seems to be working - for now! I am keeping my fingers crossed that my photos are not going to disappear but I am not going to delete my photo folder from my files just in case!
Thanks for the suggestions but this may just have been a funny glitch... not sure what happened. I didn't change anything or do anything differently this time except that I am doing it one album at a time and exiting the program between creating each of them and coming back to check... very strange.

  • I put all my photos into album .Then proceeded to erace photos from last 18 months.. Went back to albums, and no pictures in most of the albums.. What happened?  Don't know what to do.  How can I get pictures back in my albums?

I put all my photos int albums.  Then went back to same photos in last 18 months and deleted them.  When I went back to albums, most of the pictures were gone.  What happened?  All  of my pictures gone?  I need help...

    Hi saginrsf,
Deleted them from where? The photos in your albums are not the actual photos in your library. So if you deleted the photos from the Photos section of iPhoto, then you have deleted them period. All of the photos in your Albums are just "pointing" to the original photos. Albums are just a way of organizing your photos, but they are not copies of them.
Did you delete them from the Photos in iPhoto?

  • How can I sort photos into albums on my iPad and then export them to my iMac?

I want to import photos from my camera card into my iPad, sort them into various albums then export the albums to my iMac. I have 12 albums in Photos with around 300 photos on my iPad, but when I connect it to my iMac iPhoto tries to import all of the 1800 photos without the album structure. How do I transfer the albums and the 300 photos in them to my iMac?

Yes, but the recipient may not be getting the full image file that was used to make the Shared Photo Stream. You would have to run a test to see if there's any reduction in the image and file size. The following is from iCloud: Photo Stream FAQ
What resolution are the photos in shared photo streams?
Shared Photo Streams deliver photos in a device-optimized resolution that speeds upload and downloads and saves storage space. While actual dimensions will vary, an optimized version of a photo taken by a standard point-and-shoot camera will have a 2048 x 1536 pixel resolution. Panoramic photos can be up to 5400 pixels wide.

  • Organizing Photos Into Albums

I just got an iPhone 4 and its the first iPhone I've owned. I'm wondering if it's possible to organize my photos and downloaded images into different albums. I'm an organizer and it's driving me crazy that everything is lumped together. It may be a really simple process but it I just can't figure it out.

First, you can only have one master sync album on PC's/itunes, so below is how to work around that problem:
    For windows pc's Photo albums:
    1) Create a master sync folder on your pc with no photo files at the root level of the folder.
    2) Create sub-folders within the master sync folder with the subfolders named what you want the ipad's photo albums to be named.
    3) Place the photo files you want to sync in the appropriate subfolder within the master sync folder.
    4) In itunes on the photos tab, select the master folder as the sync folder.
    5) After syncing, each subfolder will be an album on the ipad with the proper photos contained there-in.
    Hope this helps...

  • Sync photo into Albums

How do I sync with my PC so that the folders become albums - they are all going into My Pictures.

Each folder that you sync to the iPad should get it's own album on the iPad - all of mine have. Are the folders that you're syncing directly off the same parent folder on your computer (with the parent folder being the one that you select at the top of the Photos tab on your computer's iTunes when syncing), or are they lower down the hierarchy ? Only the folders directly off the folder that you chose at the top of the Photos tab in iTunes get their own album in the iPad.

  • Dragging multiple photos into albums

iPhoto 5 seems to have stopped allowing me to select multiple photos and drag them into appropriate albums. I've tried deleting the "com.apple.iPhoto.plist" file from the preferences, but it hasn't worked for me. Anyone have an idea of how to fix this?

  • How can i organaize my photo into albums on n82?

ok, i have an82 and i want to sort my pictures by album , i know how to do this for every photo , by sending it to the album.is there any softwhere (free) that can do this , just select 100 photos and add them all to the album. i have 2000 photos in my phone so exporting a hole folder to an album would be the only solution. Please help

You can do it with the N82.
Just press the # key to mark each picture you want.
If you want to select many pictures keep the # key pressed and then scroll and the pictures will be marked (checked).
    Then add to album.
If you want to UNmark a marked picture just navigate to it and press the # again.

  • TS1314 How do I get photos into albums on my new IPad mini?

The 364 photos successfully synced from my PC to the mini but they are not in albums.  They ARE in albums in iTunes on my PC.
The users manual tells me to "tap albums" but I can't find "albums" anywhere.
    tia for your help.

In the Photos app on the iPad there should be an Albums tab at the top middle of the screen (unless you are already in an album in which case there should be an Albums button top left to go back up a level).
And by albums in iTunes do you mean that you get the different photo folders on your PC shown there ? The folder to album relationship only works to one level, and photos that are in sub-folders will be included in the parent folder's album on the iPad.
If the photos haven't copied over correctly then you can delete the photo cache from your computer (it's location is mentioned on the page that you posted from) and you can then re-try the photo sync.

  • Backing up photos by album to external hard drive

I have just spent days organizing my photos into albums and folders on my internal hard drive. I would like to move this organized information to an external hard drive. When I drag the library over to the external hard drive, will the photos remain organized in the same albums and photos? If not, how do I get the albums/folders over separately?

Yes. You can use the paid version of iPhoto Library Manager to copy Events or Albums from Library 1 to Library 2 and preserve the titles, keywords. descriptions, modified files, etc.
If you want to backup slideshows, calendars, books then you'll want to use a backup application like Synk Standard to backup all changes from Library 1 to Library 2. That will preserve your library exactly.
TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto (iPhoto.Library for iPhoto 5 and earlier) database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger or later), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 6 and 7 libraries and Tiger and Leopard. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.≤br>
Note: There now an Automator backup application for iPhoto 5 that will work with Tiger or Leopard.

  • Can I drag and drop single photos into Events?

Hi guys. I've very recently ordered a new Mac that will have iLife 08 on it. Before I get started with it I've got a question about Events. I've been using iPhoto for the last several years, organizing my photos into albums. I've cleaned up my images to around 1,000 photos, and I plan to only use events for organization. (I don't want to use Events AND albums, don't see the point, I'm going to try using ONLY Events.) But I've got a few scenerios that I'd like to throw by you all, to see if they would work, as I'm hoping that they will...
I don't shoot photos into pre-defined "Events", I shoot photos by what I feel like shooting. "Hey, my dog is doing something funny" - There's 3 pictures, or "Wow that's a big spider!" - 1 picture, or "My little neice is doing something cute" - There's 4 pictures. I do not want 450 events, each containing 1 - 5 pictures.
Can I drag and drop single pictures into different events? For example, have an Event called "Friends" with pictures of my friends in it, that I put there? Or an event called "Concerts" with photos taken throughout the years?
I hope I've made it clear what I'm looking to get out of Events!
Thanks in advance for any help.

Exactly - I think he will want to matain his existing structure -- people are making too much of the name change from rolls to events.
I have events with one photo and events with as many as 2000 photos -- I like this better than rolls but albums, folders and keywords are still the key to granular organization - events are ust the library to hold my photos
To me it is a small step forward that makes organization much easier (and it was not that hard before)

PS - now if I could just get all of my edits to save - where are TD and OT to solve that one for me?
