Photos nor recognised in Organiser

I have a problem with PSE Ver 11 operating on Win 7. No matter what I scan from my Epson 3170 Photo into the PSE 11 Organiser I am presented with: NOTHING WAS UPDATED. THE FILE(S) OR FOLDERS(S) SELECTED TO IMPORT DID NOT CONTAIN ANY SUPPORTED FILES TYPES, OR THE FILES ARE ALREADY IN THIS CATALOG. Under this box the reason given is THE FILE ALREADY EXISTS IN THIS CATALOG: C:/USERS/USER/APPDATA/LOCA…4-12-19-1131-04/IMAGE1.TIF.
When I first installed PSE 11 this never happened and I could scan into organiser and then move to the Editor screen. Have downloaded the latest drivers for the scanner...but this has made no difference. Could anyone please explain what has gone wrong and how to overcome it....hopefully in non-too tech speak way!

The quickest method is to add the photos to an album and then you can drag them into the order you want.

Try this:
First create an empty folder...no photos in it...now, connect your phone and under the photos tab select sync photos & select this folder. Since there is nothing in it, no photos will be added to your phone, but hopefully this will remove the photos that are on your phone.

Sorry to hear that, but this forum is for us, users, and what you need is someone from Xperia Care to find your motherboard and send it back, I don't think it'll be possible to retrieve any data from a broken motherboard.

I cannot send a photo nor a text message that contains a photo from my iphone. My cellular is on & my Wi-Fi. I have tried sending a photo with both on, WiFi off & cellular on, and WiFi on with cellular on. What else can I try?

Try a reset: hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until you see the apple, then let go. (No data loss)

Ipod photo not recognised

Today I updated to itunes 10.2.2 Now my Ipod photo is no longer recognised and will not even reset. It was working fine under 10.2.1 after an initial struggle.
I can nget it into disk mode but it sill doesn't appear when plugged in. Any ideas?

When you have the iPod in Disk Mode and connected to your PC, does it appear in as a mounted drive in My Computer (or just Computer)?
If so, try reformatting it using the tools provided by Windows.
Have you considering re-installing iTunes as well?

No photos (nor music, movies)-appearing in iWork apps' Media panel

Since upgrading my Mac Mini to OS X Mavericks + the latest iWork apps and iLife apps, I can't see any of my photos in the Media panel that appears in any of the iWork apps.
I just see a message saying "No Photos" and "To add photos, go to iPhoto."
But when I go to iPhoto (or Aperture) all my many thousands of photos are all there.
The Media panel panel in my new iWork apps also doesn't show any of my iTunes music nor Garageband music, nor does it show any movies.
I've repaired permission on the disk but that made no difference.
Has anyone else seen this problem? Anyone know how to solve it?
Any tips appreciated.

I just did a test in the Guest account with a test library and it seems that the problem can be caused by the file name for the photo file, including the extension. If the file is named iPhoto Library.photolibrary, Pages shows the photos. If it is called Aperture Library.aplibrary then Pages can't find the photos.
When I renamed an Aperture file, Aperture then created a blank library when I opened it. I was able to open the renamed library in Aperture by choosing Switch to Other Library and then opening the renamed one.
I haven't tested this with the Aperture library full of photos because changing the name might cause other unexpected problems and I don't want to take the risk.
This seems to be a bug that Apple could fix fairly easily in an update so I'll wait for the fix.

Cannot see photos in Elements 11 organiser

I was working on some photos, and I saved the psd file, and a worked on jpg. I think I initially was saving them as version sets, not knowing as I do now that version sets are just a way of totally confusing you. Now they're all individual photos and the PSD isnt there, but a jpg version of it is. The worked on photo isn't there either, yet n Windows Explorer botht he psd and the worked on file are clearly there.
If I go into editor and open the psd which is showing in Organiser, and try to create a copy of the worked on file, it says it already exists, even though it doesn't show in Organiser.
Head ready to explode, even Lightroom wasn't this bad, Adobe have reached new heights in un-intuitiveness.
Can anyone help?

As far as I know both Organizer and Lightroom follows the similar approach. That is they maintain a database for tracking images. Neither of them stores image. The images are always there on hard disk drive.
As you have moved folders from Lightroom, In Organizer they (folders/images) will be shown missing. To reconnect them, please follow steps mentioned on the blog: http://psekb.blogspot.in/2013/03/how-do-i-reconnect-missing-files-in.html

Hello Laura,
most comments which I know say, the best would be to copy all your photos into a directory (with corresponding subdirectories) by help of a file manager. From there LR should find all your photos.

1000D and lighroom 4. RAW photos not recognised..?

i have a canon 1000D and lighroom 4. lightroom will not recognise the RAW files. any idea why? thanks

So LR says it is not supported, rather than “cannot be read” which is something entirely different.
Can you upload one of these incompatible raws to www.dropbox.com <http://www.dropbox.com> and post the public download link to it, here? t is possible they are corrupted or taken in some different raw format like video stills or something else that Adobe hasn’t programmed for.

Iphone Windows 7 Photos not recognised

I apologise as there are many questions reference the problems with iphones windows 7 & 64bit PC's but I cannot find a solution on here.
I have a new PC at work, 64bit & Windows 7. I do not have itunes on this PC, I just use it for charging & downloading photos.
On plugging the phone in, it see's it, but if I click on the import videos and pictures it says there is nothing on the phone... and there are. Honest!
I've also looked under explorer, which shows me the DCIM folder but that also say's there is nothing in it.
Any ideas? As it's confused the living biscuit out of me!

Actually, this just appeared in the window next to my last post - and although its ref an XP machine, seems its the 64bit is the problem, not the windows 7

As you probably know by now, iTunes and the iPhone are not supported on the 64-bit version of Windows XP. Though I can't say for sure, my guess is that they never will be since even Microsoft seems to be running away from the 64-bit XP as fast as they can in favor of Vista.
Well in that case - is there a way using itunes you can remove photos from your iphone? If there is, I might just have to 'annoyingly' beg work to allow me to install it. Meh.

Superdrive: Nor recognising Verbatim 4x DVD-RW discs

Hi, I have purchased a pack of Verbatim DVD-RW discs. My superdrive will not recognise them, in fact it rejects them. In small print on the pack it says 'This media isfor use in DVD-RW 4x drives and DVD-RW 4X video recorders. Earlier DVD-R/RW drives require a firmware upgrade. Please check with your recorder supplier/manufacturer for further information'. I tried the download from the Apple website fot the firmware upgrade, it gave me a message saying that the upgrade was not required.
Why can my drive not use these discs? Should I change them for maybe DVD-R/RW?

PS, I have not upgraded to 10.4.10 as it seems that this version is only useful to PC/Macs.

Hi, I am sorry I have not replied to the various comments. I had been trying to find postings about my problem without success. I stumbled upon your geneous advice. I have always been able to record to DVD-R, except for these particular ones. I change the DVD-R Verbatum discs for 'Phillips DVD-R' and they work perfectly!!!. Thank you all ever so much for your help.

Ipod nor recognised and curious blinking

I have a problem with my new iPod Shuffle. He is no more saw by iTunes, on usb devices, or by my Xbox360.
Sometimes a strange unreferenced blinking apears : 2 green and 3 orange, continuously.

I don't see your pattern there, but maybe you have to check it again.
Sounds like you need to do a restore.
It might be damaged.

Why I can't upload photos nor update status by iOS in iPhone 5? Are there any ways to fix this thing?

I am using iOS 6.1.3 right now. But before I update my iOS, I was using iOS 6.0.2 but still I cannot upload any pictures via iOS in facebook also cannot update status in facebook. I am using iPhone 5.

Go into SETTINGS and scroll down to FACEBOOK. Make sure your login and password are there. If they are, try removing them and re-adding them.
