Photos not appearing in adobe reader

I've created a pdf from a Pages document using the print dialog and and the photos contained in the pdf won't appear using Adobe Reader (I'm running Snow Leopard), but they do display using Quick Look and Preview. My neighbor has a Mac (running Lion) and the photos appear in Adobe Reader (same version as mine 9.4.6 - latest available). Any clues what might be the problem?

I am having a problem getting drop-down fields to appear on Adobe Reader for iPad. Basically, I need to create a form that includes drop-down fields, with the end result being a form that can be viewed and completed on an iPad, using the Adobe Reader app. Above all else, the end result needs to be viewable on an iPad.
I created a form using Acrobat X Pro within which drop-down fields work flawlessly. However, when I try to open this form on an iPad, the drop-down fields do not even appear. I have done some investigating on the Web (including these forums) and come to understand that this has to do with javascript limitations on Apple products, but have yet to discover a solution to my problem.
To summarize: does anyone know how to make drop-down fields appear in Abobe Reader for iPad app? Or, does anyone know a workaround in which I could have a drop-down menu (or something similar) in my form and have it work on Adobe Reader for iPad?
Thanks in advance for the help. I took on this project from my boss' boss, so I'd really like to get this done for him.

Thanks for the reply. I experienced the issue running the most recent version of the Adobe Mobile Reader app. I'm not sure I can convince the client to use anything else, but its worth a shot.
All I need is a simple drop-down list (multiple fields in the document) with 4 options that the user can select and submit as a form. Is this something EZ Pdf reader can do? Also, is EZ Pdf Reader free? (the reason I ask is I am an Android user and do not readily have access to a iPad).

Menu does not appear in adobe reader XI

I am using Adobe Reader XI in windows XP. Menus dont appear when i click an item on the menu bar or right click in the open space. This thing occurs in my system for Adobe reader only. In rest of the applications in my system menus appear and it works fine.

I was going to suggest a "repair" of the Reader... but that's done from the Help menu, which doesn't appear.

Download the Adobe Cleaner tool to completely remove Reader from your system, and then download the offline installer to replace it.
If it doesn't work after that, get back to us here and we'll look at some registry settings to fix it.

I don't know if your on a Mac or a PC.
So you need to locate the Font cache file for Acrobat (make sure Acrobat is quit) and remove to Trash/Wastebasket.
and empty. The open Acrobat back up and the font cache file should rebuild. If your on a Mac the simpliest way is use a Utility called fontnuke and have it remove all Font caches.
Font cahces frequently corrupt as they are in constant use. Mayb Windows machines have something similar as Font Nuke.

Black Sabbath "13" Digital Booklet pdf Will Not Open in Adobe Reader

I recently purchased the new Black Sabbath 13 (Deluxe Version) album in iTunes and the pdf digital booklet will not open in Adobe Reader. I only get errors saying the file is either not supported, or is damaged. Any suggestions?

Javascript not working in Adobe Reader

I have given the following javascript code in the "Will Save" Document Action. But this code does not execute in Adobe Reader, it works fine in Acrobat Standard/Pro. Why this code does not execute in Reader?

Yes the javascript is enabled.
The alert comes up in Acrobat Pro when I use the 'Save' or 'Save a Copy option'. When I use the 'Save a Copy' option in Adobe reader, the alert does not come up.

A.   Deleting Adobe Reader from my iMac's Applications in Finder
B.   Downloading Google Chrome browser and then
C.   Downloading the latest Adobe Reader for Mac 10.6.8 in Google Chrome--it works
Adobe acknowledges problem with the latest Snow Leopard update 10.6.8 and with this work around, I can open PDF's using the Google Chrome Browser.
Is this the ideal solution---NO. Safari is my main browser. I now have to use a separate browser for PDF's.
Am I happy to be able to open PDF's---YES
You can't believe the time I spent to solve this problem before calling Adobe for help. My Apple Care policy expired a month ago . As I use Photoshop Elements, I was not charged by Adobe for their help on the telephone.

Folio not appearing in Adobe Content Viewer on ipad

folio i created in indesign cs5.5 not appearing in Adobe Content Viewer on ipad.
I have CS5.5, Apple ipad 1st gen ios 5.0.1 Adobe content viewer 1.9.1
the folio appears on the acrobat.com site in the FOLIO PRODUCER
but nothing is appearing on my ipad in the Adobe Content Viewer.
I work for a large magazine publisher and would like to demo the folio on the ipad to sell the concept of the DPS.
However if i cant get this on my device, its going to be a no go.

Your doubts motivated me to do some testing on the subject;-)
I made several files of different dimensions, and uploaded them to the cloud. All of them rendered correctly on the desktop. But only those which used exact 4:3 width:height ratio appeared in the Content Viewer on the iPad. And only those, which were at least 1024x768px. A perfect 4:3 document sized 768x576 did not show. But the 1536x1152 one appeared correctly.
I am still certain, that the reason of absence od James' file in his iPad was caused by the dimensions of the folio. I would however modify my statement:
Only the folios sized exactly 1024x768 px (Landscape, portrait or both orientations) are valid for iPad
It should be: Only the folios sized 1024x768 px or more, with exact 4:3 ratio (Landscape, portrait or both orientations) are valid for iPad.

Can not Printing using Adobe Reader V9.0, OS is Windows Vista

Help Me Please! I can not print in Adobe Reader. This is what is happening: I select print, the status bar shows pages being sent to the printer, the printer Hicups, clicks, clangs, clunks, and Burps and nothing comes out; No error, No copy. I'm running V9.0 but the same thing happened in version 8. I thought it was something to do with the down-load. What gives?

No, I haven't looked for an updated driver for my printer but I will give that a try. I was able to print using the "print as image" function but it really bogged my system down to pre-Pentium days. I'll let you know if the driver update works. Thanks for reaching out!

You can also add attachments by clicking the paperclip icon in the left column of the Acrobat window...
