Photos not attaching in Eudora

Eudora 6.2.3
IPhoto 6.0.4
I am using Eudora for my mail programme. iPhoto 6 has the ability to send photos via e-mail with its programme and attach them automatically to the preferred mail programme.
I have sent photos via Eudora before with iPhoto 2 with no problem. I have set Eudora in the preferences of iPhoto for my mail programme. After selecting photos I select "Share > Email > Compose. iPhoto seems to compose but a big fat nothing happens!! No email window opens in Eudora with the photos attached. Would you know what could be wrong or what I am doing wrong?

I'm wondering what the default email application is... that is, if you click a mailto: link in a webpage, does Eudora come up or is it Mail? This choice is made in the preferences settings in Mail.
But since iPhoto will not export anywhere... the point is probably moot...
Before we trash and re-install... some basic trouble-shooting tips:
Quit iPhoto, go to Home/Library/Preferences and trash the file com.apple.iPhoto.plist
Then try again. (you may have to enter some settings again, including your choice of email client.)
Have you repaired permissions (Applications/ Utilities -> Disk Utility
Select your HD in the Pane on the Left and then Click Repair Permissions
if that makes no difference:
Create a new user account:
System Preferences -> Accounts
Switch to the new account an launch iPhoto. Stick any photo into it and try export. The point of this is that it will tell us if the problem is specific to your account (in which case the re-install in unecessary) or is general to iPhoto (in which case we do install.
To remove and re-install:
Move the application to the trash
go to HD/Library/Receipts and trash any pkg files that have iPhoto in the title, then re-install from your disk and and update
